  1. I still don't understand all the contempt for yellow. I'm not a major fan of yellow in general, but I think out of all the colours available, it works the best with the dinosaurs. To each their own, I suppose. Just leaves more sets on the shelves for fellow AFOLs and children.
  2. Greetings! I hail from Ontario, Canada, I'm in my early 30s', and I've been a Lego fan since I was two. Although there were periods during my adolescence and adulthood where I ceased buying Lego, my love for the toyline never vanished. Space has long been my favourite line, but Star Wars(classic), Atlantis, Aquazone, Ninjago, and now especially Dino are awesome too! See you around!
  3. Yes, given the massive size of the maniraptor, I'd say it's definitely a Utahraptor. There's not a salmon steak's chance in a shark tank that that base can hold that Tyrannosaurus rex. He's probably just waiting to gobble up all four morsels. How do these guys compare to the saurians from Dino Attack/2010 and 2001 Dinosaurs? And yeah, fantastic review. Can't wait to own this set!
  4. Yes, this sounds like it could be fun. I'm in!
  5. I'd definitely like to see size comparison pics with previous Lego dinosaurs if you have any.
  6. In all fairness, the reviewer appears to be about 10 or under. Still, that is an annoying habit of his. Want the HQ!
  7. Can't wait to read the first reviews. I really hope that Dino sells well enough that Lego decides to give us a second wave.
  8. I'd say the Rattlecopter is the equivalent to the Skullcopter and the upcoming wrecking ball is the equivalent to the Skull Truck. Who else is planning to have their skeletons fight the snakemen?
  9. Ohhh, I'm liking those snake vehicles with stinging tails. And that wrecking ball! Oh, and it's good to see that the dragons haven't been forgotten.
  10. Are there any females among the snake people?
  11. Is it fair to assume that the green ninja (whoever he is) will get a personalized vehicle as well? If so, I wonder what it will be?
  12. I'd like to see an all-out rumble between the Dino Attack and the Dino Tyrannosaurus rexes.
  13. Heck with it, Lego should go all out and give us a Dino set with Predator X!
  14. If Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, and Velociraptor weren't included, TONS of children and adults would be upset about it. Believe me, I love obscure dinosaurs, but you simply can't have a dino toyline without the most popular ones of all. And yes, an underwater set featuring Liopleurodon or Mosasaurus would be fantastic!
  15. A female police chief? It's about time! Also, if this forest theme continues, which I hope is the case, we should get a moose and some wolves.
  16. The spikes on the Triceratops truck and the Deinonychus jeep are hedge cutters, just like the ones mounted on Allied tanks during WWII. They're for slicing through thick brush, not injuring dinosaurs.
  17. Did people complain about there being too much blue in Alien Conquest or too much green in Power Miners? Or too much black in Blacktron?
  18. I look forward to the eventual massive snake headquarters set. Also finding out who the green ninja will be. Off the top of my head, I say it's going to be Zane. Thoughts?
  19. Can someone direct me to them, please?
  20. I would LOVE to see a second Dino wave with Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurus. As I see it, however, their elaborate body armour would be a challenge from a construction point of view. Would Stegosaurus's plates come as separate pieces or would they be moulded to the body? Also, I'm sure this is a major longshot, but a Lego Therizinosaurus would be the coolest thing ever.
  21. I have trouble believing that Garmadon is earnestly helping the ninjas. More likely he's hoping to seize the snake rods for himself.
  22. The first image is a small coelurosaur, the second is a large tyrannosaur. That's hardly a fair comparison. This, OTOH, looks rather distinguished, yet still terrifying: At any rate, I'm rather torn between 5886 and 5887. The latter is obviously more expensive and requires more display room, but you get three dinosaurs, four minifigures, and two vehicles. That may ultimately prove cheaper than buying 5886, 5884, and 5882.
  23. Given that numerous dinosaur fossils have been found with feathers, including Velociraptor and the tyrannosauroid Dilong, you might as well get used to the fact.
  24. Would people please stop referring to Tarzan as "the castaway"?
  25. Holy crap. Little Red Reading Hood, Jem from the Holograms, Evel Knievel, and Bill Lumbergh from Office Space. BEST. WAVE. EVER.
