    Wow. This is one time where I'm going to just come right out and say it: Lego made an idiotic choice.

    I find it terribly disappointing how, out of all the many, many X-Men enemies that exist, TLG chose to go with Magneto again. And put him in an ugly outfit to boot.

    Yeah, this topic is so getting locked. For what it's worth, I only read Marvel comics and I much prefer the Marvel films, but Bruce Timm's Batman/Superman/Justice League cartoons were fantastic. And while I much prefer Marvel Lego, I'm still buying DC sets in the hopes of someday having seven top Justice League members.

    Yeah, when I first saw the photos of MM, I was puzzled as to why he was wearing long pants.

    I ordered mine yesterday. Eagerly counting down days. It really is a shame we still don't have a mass market Green Lantern minifigure. I wish they'd included him in one of the new Batman sets instead of Robin or Nightwing.

    Picked up Doc Ock Truck Heist during a shopping trip in the States on Friday. Doc Ock is great and I like the armoured truck, but as many have already noted, the wheels are too large for their spaces. Modifying it to roll smoothly was easy as pie, but I wonder why the designer didn't catch that flaw. Oh, and I passed on Spider-Trike vs Electro, despite my desire for an Electro minifigure. I knew my girlfriend wouldn't understand my purchasing such a crappy set.

    I know my comics perfectly well, thanks. I was referring to Allen's return at the conclusion of Final Crisis. I wasn't keen on it at the time and I'm still. Try not to assume things, eh?

    As far as I'm concerned, Lego Flash is Wally West, who should never have been replaced by Allen, period.

    I don't own Spider-Trike vs. Electro yet, but one can tell that it's an ugly, poorly conceived set just by looking at it. Sadly, I will end up buying it for Electro.

    Just because there are occasional exceptions to methods of identification does not invalidate the method altogether. Because he wants the character he conceived of of to be a wizard. How is that sexist? The overwhelming majority of males both in real life and fiction are not. The overwhelming majority of females both in real life and fiction don't. And the ones that do have stubble probably are not fond of it. Again, it's not sexist to have a standard preconception of what a male looks like and what a female looks like. Nor does having a standard preconception automatically mean that you are blind to or prejudiced against those who do not necessarily fit with it. Rubbish. In the first place, there are plenty of existing torsos that are used for both genders in Lego. Look at the firefighters. The police officers. The worker wearing coveralls. In the second place, the existence of distinctly feminine torsos in no way constitutes a mandate that you can't use a different torso to represent a female if you so choose. The main theme of the Lego Movie was the power of personal choice. I would say that by creating a mountain out of a molehill, this silly article has belittled feminism far more than the printing on Lego minifigures has. There are many larger, much more serious issues facing women today---especially in the United States. The author would be far better off tackling those than bemoaning the existence of hips and breasts. I already addressed this above. You are the one who is choosing to perceive the old torsos as being male-only. You and the author talk as though Lego minifigures were on par with Barbie dolls. They are not meant to represent a realistic depiction of a human being. Thinner waists and breasts are distinctive to women. That's how it's been since apes first evolved. Claiming that little girls interpret female Lego minifigures as a sign that they should always be thin and busty is as ludicrous as claiming that little boys interpret male Lego minifigures as a sign that they should lack noses and ears, and have gigantic pincer hands.

    I'd be okay with the price hike if it were a Marvel/DC/Star Wars series. As it stands.....I'll wait and see what the wave consists of.

    Groot only looks like he's 14-20 feet tall in proportion to RR and Nebula. I think if Lego had gone the minifigure route with him, there'd be just as many complaints about how he's too small. Perhaps somewhere down the line there will be a smaller version as a promotion or a LegoShop exclusive, but I doubt it'll happen soon.

Complaining about female minifigures having breasts and slighter physiques than the males, as if those were things to be ashamed of in any way. Fortunately, a lot of commenters have already taken the author to task.

    Why WOULDN'T Groot choose to make himself bigger---and thereby stronger and more durable---against a formidable opponent like Nebula? If you have an advantage in combat against an opponent, you employ it. Only fools believe in "fighting fairly."

    In the comics, Groot is capable of increasing his size by absorbing any kind of wood. He can also control other trees and is resistant to fire. And if he is destroyed, he can be fully restored so long as a single part of him is intact, even the smallest twig. This brick-built Groot is perfectly in keeping with the comics. I'm very excited to own him.

    I think Groot looks pretty swell. The head piece appears dead on and I don't mind the green parts on his arms. RR and Nebula look great too. Can't wait to finally have a female Marvel villain in my collection!

    I'm still holding out hope that when Lego finally does give us a GL, it'll be either Guy Gardner or John Stewart.

    Just to clarify: it doesn't have to be just Super Heroes Lego to get MM, yes? Any Lego will do?

    That GOTG trailer is promising, albeit brief. Nebula and Drax look great. Can't wait to see what the minifigures look like. I wonder when we'll get a better reveal?
