    This. Even with the reveal, it's still too early to tell what direction the story will take. Heck, even though we know the Toa, we don't know who they are in this story. Where did they come from, who made them, etc.? And how much damage did the Mask of Ultimate Power do? Okoto seems to be in ruins after it was used. There's still mystery in this story. Personally, I like what I see already, so I'm all aboard.

    I was just about to say the same thing. Not only are their bodies the same, but their masks as well. Makuta, Ekimu, and the Protectors all have the downward sloping cheeks and crazy scalps. And, yeah. I really like this. Makes them just two normal dudes, no big, supreme god-like rulers. They're just uber-talented. And like you said with the Toa: much more alien and mysterious. I like how they're recreating the mystery of the original story but in a completely different way. 2015 is pushing all the right buttons.

    I told you! It's the Vahi! You can't deny! I said earlier, I hope this means there's going to be a lot of Easter Eggs like this throughout the series. I expect Matoran text to show up at some point.

    They just used the pieces from Surge. And the Stone characters have to use yellow. They just have to. It looks so yellow on the packaging.

    It's the Spectral Mask from Journey of Takanuva! :O I love that book. Probably why I also like the new animation art style. The character proportions are somewhat similar to JoT. Speaking of the animations, I really hope there's a bunch of Easter Egg references to the original Bionicle. Vahi cloud is just one, and I expect more to come.

    Wait, is the Tr. Lime on Pohatu throughout the entire figure? Still looks yellowy to me.

    Is there a gallery that has all the pictures from Comic Con? Toy display, the panel, etc? Also, I think it was mentioned earlier, but in the video at 54 seconds when Makuta and Ekimu are shaking hands: that cloud sure looks familiar.

    Sleepy Onua makes him loveable. Big sleepy guys are the best. :D Clumsy Kopaka I can handle because I've always pictured his scope as an eye patch. One eye -> no depth perception -> clumsy. (yeah, I know that's not the case with lack of depth perception, but whatever helps me sleep at night, yeah?) I have way too much stuff to draw... :P

    Okay, I've calmed down a bit. I really like where this is going. I really do. It's lighthearted and more kid friendly, which I prefer over the dark grittiness of the later years of Bionicle. The characterizations of the Toa are actually pretty cool. I like how they have strengths as well as relatable weaknesses (oh, and sleepy Onua. <3 ). And the route they've taken with Makuta and Ekimu is great. The brotherliness of Makuta and Mata Nui kinda fizzled later on, and I missed that connection.

    It already did. I just had, like, five pages to catch up on (darn school). Anywho..... HYPEHYPEHYPEHYPE So exciting! The animation and art style is glorious. No TV show according to BZP's tweets, but they'll be online animations. I'll live. Ekimu is cool. I can dig. Makuta's return is most welcome. The gold chrome (I assume. I can't imagine solid gold) masks will hopefully be the standard gold masks for the sets. Otherwise, it'll probably be an exclusive random in the sets while the others get regular gold plastic. Blagh! Too much to discuss. I'm just going to wait this out and take the brunt of the hype storm.

    I agree. Onua's always been the strongman for me. Seeing him overly bulky here is most welcome.

    Ahh... Pohatu's Boomerangs use a three-stud-long pin to hold them together (definitely two pieces). Guess that explains how they attach to his feet for his jet... Boots... I'm not going to get used to that...

    Brick built MoCr on the pedestal from the teaser. As well as a backdrop of a very lava-y area. Ta Wahi, I'm sure.

    Blended masks? More trans purple? Stalactite villages? Bionicle is going in the right direction.

    Onua has trans purple bones. But only on his thighs... :( Need more trans purple.

    Onua looks fantastic! The Pakari is excellent. And looks like there's a lot of junk going on inside his body.

    Ha! I knew it'd be possible to give Onua shovels! (well, I thought it could be modified, but seeing it official is better.) Seems they all have duel functions for their weapons. I bet Kopaka somehow gets skis (would explain the ski pole).

    This sounds the most likely, having the most popular tribes be reintroduced. Infernites for Series 1 gets reintroduced in Series 4, another tribe from Series 2 in Series 5, etc. I guess this wouldn't be too bad for those who missed Series 1-3, but I'd still prefer new tribes.

    Constraction Dinosaurs.... Hey, Lego's make JP4 sets. Jurassic Park Constraction, anyone? On topic, it's still hard to say. Right now, I prefer the look of the Bio15 sets more than HF, but that's probably mostly because these look fresh. Once we get more story info, I'll have a better opinion (tomorrow's Comic Con!).
