  1. Y'know what I see? Concept art. Awesome concept art at that. As said before, it's probably super old, so no real conclusions can be drawn. I'd imagine Elemental Being would later evolve into the Protectors we have now, though. Regardless, I always get a Bay Transformers vibe off of those concepts. This is a good thing.
  2. Finished my MoC. I'll take pictures of it when I have the time. Maybe make another in the meantime.
  3. Holy cow. That's incredible. The colors, parts usage (love the Bionicle mask fountain!), everything. This is just too cool. Even more so considering my love for the "shattered world" concept. Fantastic job.
  4. It's adorable! And a nice stand in until Lego releases an official one. Seems like it'd scale fairly well with a minifig.
  5. Hey, Onua doesn't look too bad. And the colors actually look pretty good as well though now I feel the gold looks out of place. Hopefully the spash of gold on the chest stickers will fix that. Otherwise, fantastic. And weapon storage is a big plus.
  6. Hm. Is there just one metal man/woman in this game? Be cool to see the others. Also, what about the Doom Patrol? Do we know if they'll be in the game?
  7. For all we know, the characters in Bio15 will be pure robots.
  8. Sweet. Red Hood's one of my favorite characters. I can see myself playing as him quite a bit.
  9. Glass case or some other type of display. Keep it dust free. Also display my winning MoC with it. Speaking of cases, I hope the stand/pedestal comes with the mask and can double as a storage case. You could open it up and pop the mask in there for safe keeping.
  10. Brown was always a "boring" color (I never had a problem with it, but I believe this is the reason it didn't sell well). I like this brown for Pohatu because it's not only more vibrant and interesting, but it still allows us to have a brown colored Pohatu. Hopefully brown's here to stay. I hated the switch to yellow/orange.
  11. Wow. That looks pretty beast. Love the upper torso.
  12. Yep. Pohatu is the greatest. Glad the arms look kinda yellow, but I'd have preferred the real McCoy. Still. I'm sure he'll be one of my favorites. The nostalgia's going to be killer.
  13. I'll probably get them all in one go. But the Stone Protector and Pohatu will be my first to build since Turaga Onewa was the first figure I got, and I've had a connection to the Stone characters ever since.
  14. Fan work. Those were part of some wallpapers someone (can't recall the name) on Deviantart made.
  15. ^^You can create a new topic for it and get suggestions there. Improve it based on those suggestions, and then submit the entry. Along with music, I'm also trying to figure out what kind of cultures we'll see on Okoto. If the Toa are anything to go by, Po-Okotans seem to be inspired by aboriginals. Them being nomads would be cool as well. Ko-Okotans might be the warrior types judging by Kopaka's beefy, armored look. Ta-Okotans could be scholars. It'd be cool to see a culture swap between Fire and Ice characters from the original story (Ko were more monks and knowledge seekers and Ta were the warriors (in MNOG at least)). The rest are kinda difficult... Haven't figured what they could be like.
  16. So... I was thinking. How do you want this new Bionicle to sound? Music-wise, I mean. I think it'd be pretty neat to hear a more oriental sound overall. But I think it'd be really neat if every region had their own sound kinda like what the MNOG did. One thing's for sure, though: Po Wahi needs didgeridoos.
  17. That's pretty slick. Be even better if the stand is included *crosses fingers*
  18. I'm still coming up with ideas. I don't know if I want to go super buff or thin and creepy. I guess that's what multiple entries are for.
  19. I don't recall Takanuva bashing Makuta over the head with a hammer in MOL... :P In all seriousness, though, I'd prefer Ekimu and Takanuva to be separate characters. It's an interesting idea, but I feel Ekimu's already filling out the "Great Spirit" role for this story.
  20. Man, I should start building. I've been doodling ideas all day in school. Time to put them into practice. Yep. Golden Mask is more important than schoolwork.
  21. Speaking of the Stone Protector's weapon/pepper grinder, on the Comic Con panel slide image that has all the weapons, it says that the staff head is colored yellow. I just find it amusing (and kinda sad) at how much it's trying to be yellow when the Stone sets use lime green. Though I guess that piece could still be yellow and the bones are just lime? (I should really get over this...)
  22. It's either that or the Hau. Those two seem like they'd be the most popular. Which makes me wonder how the others will be distributed. After them, the other five masks seem equal in popularity.
  23. Well, platinum is more expensive than gold, anyway, so I'd imagine the Avohkii would always cost more. Personally, I find the 2001 Gold Hau will always be the most valued just due to its reputation and the popularity of the original Bionicle. I guess the popularity of the new series will determine part of the value of the new gold masks. But frankly, they're each 14k gold, so there'll be value in them either way.
  24. The details on the prizes for the contest say the gold mask is worth $2,000. I expect more because, like you said, collector value.
  25. Oh! Pfff. I thought it was talking Lego elements. My bad. Well, that helps me a bunch considering most of my sockets are cracked.
