2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
DonQuixote replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
As a kid I was never a fan of the Black Knights because of their black castles.I always loved a bit more realism. So it always was Lion Knights, Black Falcons and Forrest people for me. The best factions they are for me! But I hope the creator castle introduces a new faction. Griffins please -
Good brick brands like Cobi and Megablocks create their own parts that Lego does not have. I have a Megablocks set and I can tell you : there are a lot of pieces that Lego does not have. I also heared that sometimes Lego copies themselves bricks from those companies. After all, Lego started as a knock off company themselves by copying the standard 2x4 brick from Kiddiecraft.

2025/26 Castle [wishlist/speculation]
DonQuixote replied to GreenhouseBricker's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
A medieval joust maybe in 2026. For 2025 we get the Wolfpack CMF. That's it. There will be a Blacktron Renegade remake in january according rumours. A nostalgia set and Lego only does once a year a nostalgia set. 2022 was exception with Galaxy Explorer and Lion knights castle because it was the 90th anniversary for Lego. I am allready curious what we will get with Lego's 100th anniversary. Any thoughts somebody? -

Buildings because you have more freedom to design something with asymmetry. With vehicles there are more rules I think. It's just more fun to build a building than a vehicle for me. Castles and modulars are my favorite.

I am not as optimistic. Eldorado Fortress didn't sell that well as Lego had hoped so they will not investing in a new pirate theme or set. CMF and BDP(or other brick brands) are the only way to get some pirate things... But a pirate /imperial ship from Lego , no. Not while the Endurance is on the shelves.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion
DonQuixote replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
If I buy CMF from Bricklink, I only buy the complete minifig with accessoires. I never understand why some sellers sell it seperately. How many times I have seen the CMF Palladin without its shield... That's a big no no for me. -

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
DonQuixote replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
Boutique hotel is definitely Spanish colonial style. It's a building that you could find in Cuba. Or in the video game Tropico when you are in the colonial era.The presidential building in that game looks somewhat similar. Museum is an early 19th century French empire style. When watching Napoleon in theatre last year I noticed a lot of buildings in the movie that are similar to the museum. -
I did not include GWP because I am not interested in them.

Sponsored Lego reviews: Do you mind?
DonQuixote replied to Lego Mike's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Ah it's the Jang! It's because of him I am into alternative bricks too. Sponsored or not, I will keep watching his content. His soft voice make me relaxed. He is the Bob Ross of Lego and other building bricks companies. I love to watch a Jang video before going to bed. Sometimes I watch Bob Ross before bed time. And I don't even paint... Lol -
1 Mountain Fortress BDP 2 Medieval Town square 3 Jeep with tiger (the new mold looks fantastic!) 4 Castle 5 Basil the Batlord CMF Worst set : plane with world map from Lego Masters USA Duckbricks

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion

My lady of the Medieval Blacksmith set has both cracked arms. The set was on display on a shelf in a room without sunlight. It just saw it when I was cleaning dust. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
DonQuixote replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
It looks great if this is true. I saw it on a German YouTube channel. It looks very German /European. So many details. One of the best modulars of recent years. I really love it. But as always I will wait for discount. Don't wanna pay fomo tax you know. -

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 27. Rumors and discussion

Just like Starwars : a small build and some soldiers/knights /peasants /outlaws. Castle fans want to army build. CMF can stay but not for castle theme. -
Latest impact of other themes on historic themes
DonQuixote replied to Wardancer's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I really hope the wolf shield will be available at pick a brick. Not including a wolf shield in the medieval town square is my biggest complaint about the set. And yes this Wolfpack fig will be hard to get. It is hard getting the paladin. Have only 4 of him. Bear Knights and Black Ravens also only a couple. Lego should make these factions in battle packs. The prices of these figs are insane now. But what do you expect with these good looking figs.
