Absolutely agree ! Those 2 are the best official sets ever and I am not really a Lord of the Rings fan. My third best set is BDP Mountain fortress. My Black Falcons need a big castle. €270?! I don't see €270 in the Shire. Sure it looks good beside that tree...horrible. And no new moulds. If it had all the dwarves from the Hobbit, I would pay €270. Easy pass for me. I have Rivendell. Expensive but beautiful and impressive with new moulds. And I like the Hobbit movies more than Lord of the Rings. Lol Dwarves are cool. And the best one is Tyrion from Game of Thrones. Because like I earlier said : Lego is like Ferrari. Their target audience is the upper class . Yes they will sell less but the higher price makes up for it.

I think the reason why Lego is becoming so much more expensive is due to the fact that a lot of customers from the Covid era stopped buying Lego. Or they discovered alternative brands. The Lego company compensates this loss by increasing their profits for each set, knowing that loyal hardcore Lego purists with enough disposable income, will still buy the overpriced sets anyway. To put it simply: the Lego company no longer targets common people. They are targeting the upper high income class. As long as their profits are growing, they don't mind losing customers with lower income. That's just my thoughts.

Lego no longer has the best quality in the world of building bricks. I saw a review from Jang on YouTube from a Cobi product. And damn, their sets have no stickers and the white /light printing is far superior to Lego printing. Cobi is a Polish company and everything is made in Poland. So no Chinese things. It's mostly military stuff that I am not interested in. But their quality... Lego could learn a thing or two from Cobi.

Well if they include Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and Eli Wallach.. Then it would be all 3 and I would be happy. And ofcourse some, natives, confederates and so on. Fun fact : Spaghetti westerns are filmed in Spain, directed by Sierge Leone and the music was composed by Ennio Morricone. Both Italian. All the actors were Italian. Except Eastwood and Van Cleef ofcourse. And Metallica covered the music of the music. By the way, this is the western forum right?

That's because of a lack of decent minifigs for Western. There is absolutely nothing. And I love spaghetti westerns like the good, the bad and the ugly. And some people (like me) buy Western sets from Bluebrixx and Fun Whole .They have a lot of western sets. But their minifigs are bad.

Hmm. I prefer MOCYourBricks. This one looks to blocky at the rear and not as smoot. And the ship seems a bit short. But that's my opinion.

What's the difference between minifigure scale and minifigure compatible? That's the exact number of pieces from the Black Pearl moc from MOCYourBricks. I have that one. I wonder how it compares and what ship will look better. The Black Pearl from MOCYourBricks is allready perfect and accurate. I don't think it can't be better. It also has 18 working canons. I doubt Lego will include 18 working canons. They are too greedy to do that. Imperial flagship from 2010 has only 4 canons and Black Seas Barracuda has only 3 cannons

Yeah I feel the same way. Don't like the open back Forrest stronghold. And the Seaside market looks like a grey Eldorado Fortress. Too plain and simple. I allready made my own siege tower years ago. Only interested in the trebuchet. Will build that when instructions become available I will take a day of just like I did with the Mountain Fortress. Castle is not as big like in Europa. US is more interested in Starwars and Marvel
