Heroica RPG - Quest #4: Taming the Lions
Tanma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
De'kra falls, and collapses to the ground. Slowly his body fades away, leaving only a tattered cloak and a collection of blades. But the shadowy figure has vanished, leaving only his physical items behind. OOC: He isn't dead, he just is regrouping. -
Great photos, it really brings the set to life. Where did you get the shield with the two headed phoenix, or the one with the deer? I don't recall seeing them in any sets.

Cool diorama, it seems pretty realistic. The airlock is a great feature, not only a cool detail but. Necessary feature for barren planet colonizing. The only thing I am worried about is where they get their power from.

A question have I, says Yoda. Can a player buy more custom shaped tools? They would still have the same effect, but they might have a different design. Example; buying a Mocktril Throwing Knife with the features of a Mockthril Shuriken. It would still need to be retrieved and it could not be used as a melee weapon, the only difference is that it would be shaped like a knife. Or maybe even something as extreme as a living tool. For instance; a Crab in place of a Shovel. It won't be able to aid the teams in battle or anything, but it could dig much like a Shovel. Likewise it would cost as much as a Shovel, since it has the same characteristics. Is this plausible?

De'kra nods at the words of Hero and Dark Power, as her words made sense. Why would the group just assault a dead corpse? It is only logical that they would switch their target once the foe fell. The shade wonders why these foes were paid to stop travelers, could they be servants of the Lion Knights? -
Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Tanma replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
This is why I don't spend much energy looking up the clone wars. Plus I was bored of the clone wars after the "7th" movie aired, it just gets too much attention. I would prefer a series set ABY, or distant BBY. Some part of Star Wars that doesn't get constant spotlight lit. Is it wrong of me to want a Yuuzhan Vong War series? -
Nice image, good to see everyone in the hall. You must have an extensive Lego collection to make all those figures, though I am guessing you didn't get the old Sandcrawler?

De'kra clicks, "Blacksmith very weak, heroes spread aim to Thug A too? Best might every foe have many attackers?" The shade hoped that his speed would aid him in this battle, unlike pretty much every fight he had fought in to this point. -

De'kra clicks, "I attack thug A in front row. Now round should finish fight." The shade gripped his Pongcanis Dagger as he leapt at the foe, knowing that the two foes were too low in health to last much longer. -

De'kra noticed that the Mage and the elf were working together, and relaxed. Two against one should keep the elf safe, and thus protect their permit. Of course De'kra still was fighting alone, but hopefully his luck would change from that of his previous battles. -
I am a little interested in seeing those three as 3.0 characters, as I still don't understand why Breez wasn't one originally. She has a bond with life and can speak to creatures, I am pretty sure that would be useful on a jungle planet.

De'kra noticed that everyone save him and the elf were targeting the blacksmith. While the shade knew the blacksmith was much stronger, he also knew that he had a bad track record in battle, and the elf had almost no experience. Not to mention that if the elf fell, the team would fall. "One hero need help elf," clicked De'kra, "He fight alone, heroes and I loose him, heroes and I need to return to R'Kilf. -
I did find it a little odd that the Cleric could heal itself, but the arguments here seem good enough to sway me. Besides, not every quest has a big payload of money, it could take many quests for you to get enough funds to stock up on tonics. And by then the cleric would have earned that power, since even a single quest can be difficult(I am so glad I am not in quest 8; that scarab was dynamite).

De'kra clicks, "I target Thug A from front row. I luck not best, need one other heroes target him or more. Heal elf might he become great wounded." -

De'kra clicks, "I ready to go." The shade wondered briefly how the ranger and the remaining barbarian would deal with the elf warrior, both of them had a distaste with the elves of Brobric, iand that might lead to trouble. -

De'kra turned to the barbarian and clicked, "You sure? Elves might not harm you, but it lonely to live in stranger land and few familiar sites. Keep it in mind when you decide. Other than that, you might want to ask around tavern might elves allow it. Never know what you will learn." -
In quest number four we are being joined by an NPC who will aid us in batle. Although it is not of any class and thus lacks said traits, much of it behaves like a player. My question is this, if we win a fight with help from the NPC, will it level up?

De'kra clicked, "I glad heroes and I safe, now at least. Of who stays, maybe maybe it barbarian or mage? Group have two of each, heroes and I not loose unique abilities might one stay." -
Maybe that character can spend their time investigating the elves? We know that they might be using us, so the player who remains might look for clues.

De'kra felt a rush of excitement, his suggestions hadn't killed the group, but maybe have actually helped the team. But now the group had a choice to make, who would stay behind? "Heroes and I talk of who stay behind in room?" clicked De'kra, "Or need heroes and I talk here?" -

De'kra felt like the sun was beating on him again. Strong feelings bubbled up to the front of his mind, though not the rage or the grief that the sun brought. This was a wave of concern, that he might have doomed the group with his simplistic knowledge of interactions. Silently he thinks these thoughts, then pushes them deep inside. Despite turning his attention to other matters, the shade still wondered if he had made the right decision. -

De'kra shrugged and clicked, "Heroes and I still might not learn anything from dagger alone. Heroes and I might lose dagger, but it has not help heroes and I recently. Heroes and I had to trust strangers with dagger back in first town, what difference? It might safer to trust people who say day no like you, than people who act like friend first thing. Heroes and I know elves not fond of strangers, heroes and I prepare for betrayel. Even might elves betray heroes and I, elves wait until heroes and I help elves win war. Then heroes and I useless to elves." -

OOC: unless De'kra says something in quotation marks, he's thinking to himself. De'kra shook his head and clicked in his high pitched fast paced voice, "I not know other way, heroes and I have no leads except elves. Guide-man, heroes and I allow to show elves dagger? Elves might notice thing heroes and I miss." -
Makes sense. Since I don't know the exact rules for topic posting, I have to say I like your player as well. Like the Enderman it really holds true to the blocky shape of the games. The only thing that annoys me about him is the places were the joints bend, it looks kind of odd. Aside from that Steve looks fine.

It's really nothing, my oldest unaltered character is a dog I made in 2002. Originally my oldest was a 2001 Matoran with a translucent blue noble mask of night vision, but I had a dog who likes plastic...
