True enough, this is more of a sub plot. Besides, it is dangerous for De'kra to remember everything. It is fine for him to remember his identity over a long period of time, but if he remembered all of it now and was forced to stay awake, he would automatically be forced to resume his true form...

Or have a Knight/Ranger calm him down. He won't understand their words, but he would get the intent.

Heroica RPG - Quest #4: Taming the Lions

The figure pauses and wheezes, "Don't tell him about me, it would be...bad." The figure vanishes into an alley, leaving only the smell of ink and parchment behind. De'kra begins to stir, and licks, "I hurt, what happen to I? Last event I remember; fighting blacksmith and thugs. But fight not in Eubric." The shade turned to face Cinna, and visibly cringed. -

The stranger starts to walk away and wheezes, "He died recently didn't he. He can't die for long, but every time our kind expires, we get sent back to our prison. And our prison is...difficult to escape to say the least. A chunk of his essence got lost when he returned to the mortal realm, and without it his memories were incomplete. That orb was that chunk of his body, specifically a piece of his chest. With his body restored he should recall you "Singles," and a little more of his old life. Hopefully he won't recall everything though." -

I know that is how it is organized, but I don't accept that show in my personal canon. -

The strange wheezes, "I did nothing too him, at least not directly. Seeing me helped unlock his memories for a brief second, enough to overwhelm his mind and reboot him. When he awakens he will forget who he is again, luckily for you." The stranger produces a dark orb from his cloak, and smashes it into De'kra. The orb shatters into glass, but the darkness inside flows into the shade. -
I don't think you can sell the Shadeaux sword yet, its meant to be payment for winning the quest. Since we don't know if we will succeed yet in our mission, we don't technically own our Shadeaux tools yet.

The way I see it is that the Current cartoon series is either non canon, or takes place in an alternate universe. It makes so much more sense that way. -

De'kra notices that Cinna is following him, causing a small tremor in his body. Other than that however he tried to ignore her presence. As he walks through the city, the shade spots a shadowed figure with piercing fire eyes. To the gaze of Cinna, the entity might look a lot like De'kra, but with ripped clothes and a larger body. Something about the entity calms De'kra, and he suddenly finds himself tired. Eventually he collapses, just as the figure approaches the two of them. -

OOC: I enjoy the concept of nights, it adds some realism. On an island this big it should take time to travel around, and odds are that bandits would be waiting for travelers. De'kra trembles at the noisy city, and retreats into an empty area. The noise only antagonizes him further; the tongue of an alien race both loud and disturbing. Will any of the group make sure he doesn't randomly attack a civilian? -

OOC: if only the group had people with communication as their skill... De'kra's eyes have turned completely to face Cinna, only turning away to glance at the woods. If he planned on making a run for it, he didn't chance it. As he watched her his dagger began to cut into the earth, carving into the earth a strange symbol. The design featured a large center dot, a smaller dot on each side, then he carves two wavy lines in the dirt, one on each side of the center sphere. As he glanced down at the symbol, he semed to calm, though he still watched Cinna fearfully. -

Yoda lived to be 900, and hutts can live to be a few thousand years old. What is so impossible about a few hundred years? -

De'kra watches Cinna carefully with one eye, while the other looks around the region. As he catches sight of the stars the shade starts to click with a great intensity, his body quivering in rage. But even in his seemingly random anger the shade keeps track of Cinna, his behavior towards her was much like a peasent staring at a Direwolf. -
Okay, by the way; De'kra's memories of Uland haven't returned yet. The reason he seems calm is that he knows that he has no chance against Cinna, or at least what he thinks Cinna is. So he might as well act calm until he finds out what they want. He still has no clue as to what you are saying though.

The shade still trembles violently, and there is no recognition in his eyes towards the group. The only hero he seems to identify is Cinna, though it doesn't seem to be a happy memory. The shade watches the Mage closely, fear ever present in his empty eyes. -
Sorry for slowing down the plot.

I just saw the last episode of Transformers Prime season 1 thanks to the magic of the internet; and I need season 2 now!

Heroica RPG - Quest #4: Taming the Lions

De'kra watches the darkness, as a mixture of horror enters his eyes. He turns to Cinna and collapses to one knee, muttered a phrase over and over. The others don't seem to exist any more, there is only the shade and the one who wields shadow. He still is trembling, but his dagger has been sheathed. As he continues to speak in his alien tongue of high pitch and fast clicks, it may occur to them that if he has amnesia again as their barbarian suspects, that his knowledge of their tongue might be lost. -
True, I must say I am lucky my obsession with losing gear prevented De'kra from joining your quest, he would be dead in the first fight. And as the Quest 4 people are learning, death isn't kind to De'kra's brain.

The Quest 7 heroes are on a roll, though I worry about the ditched Hybros. He was the first person to talk to De'kra here after all. I wonder if Hybros is a bargining chip in case the group escapes.

De'kra almost hisses at the cleric, though the sound could mean anything in his tongue. He seems scared more than anything, as his eyes keep glancing at the remainings of the three fallen foes, and the blood on the elf guide's blade. -
Nice temple, it fits Ennoc well. The only thing I worry about is that Eubric is that a pretty corrupt city, and tends to be made of dark colors. This is a little too clean and bright in comparison.

De'kra continues to back away from the group, his clicking growing more frantic. The clicking has a pattern to it, but the language is too complex to understand. As he shrieked in the alien tongue, De'kra's gaze searched the region. Nothing his gaze met soothed his fear, though he did pause at a patch of six trees. -

OOC: that is the clue, though Cinna's power isn't the only way to calm him though. Though if Cinna shows her power, De'kra is going to begin calling her a new name. De'kra does not stab yet, though he waves the blade forward as if it ward off evil. His eyes have moved from his chest to his blade, their gaze narrowing at the knife. Something about the blade is putting him even more on edge, as his body begins to tremor violently. -

OOC: it should be there pretty early on, though it may be so obvious to notice. De'kra begins to flex his chest, as if something thrashed within him. After a time he looked down in surprise, and began to feel his face with his free hand. But his right hand still lurched his dagger forward, pointed directly at his allies. The blade was pointed straight forward, like a sabre rather than a knife. Edit: sorry, took some time to make this post.
