Heroica RPG - Quest #4: Taming the Lions
Tanma replied to Brickdoctor's topic in The Heroica Archive
De'kra wondered who this Mizz Ter Clik Astic was, and why the shade couldn't see it or hear it. Maybe his species couldn't comprehend MTCA, like how that emotion of mating desire made no sense to him. Or maybe it was a naive belief of Heroica. -

De'kra clicks, "guide said elves good at manipulate houses, heroes and I had to know it might happen. I think heroes and I have to proceed like plan, in heroes and I know heroes and I use of elves might help heroes and I escape might trouble. Heroes and I in company of elves, elves might kill group might heroes and I refuse. No path to go but forward. Group still need to tell elves of prior hiring, elves find out, it worse other elves learn of elves. And might elves already know, no risk. -
I understand that the undead will have an advantage, but I think we should know his method of creation before passing judgement. What if it just a human cursed to resemble a skeleton? He has his race as a human skeleton, so it won't be hard. Or maybe he can still feel the pain? Either way I think we should wait for Sandy's answer. Edit: this post was made while the prior two were posted, so I messed them.

Not always, I have an Inika Nuparu that still squeaks after five years.

Heroica RPG - Quest #4: Taming the Lions

De'kra hoped that the cleric would know what to do, as the group was in danger. The shade wondered briefly that if elves decided to kill the team, how they would escape. De'kra was a Rogue, and could in theory help them escape. But that was a lot of pressure to deal with and his training was non existent. The shade silently hoped that he would remember something useful, as usually his memories just tell vague concepts that are nearly useless. -

De'kra wondered if the "aux" referred to the Shadeaux. The shade decided it wasn't likely, as his vocabulary of this world was limited. For all he knew one of those weird endings to words was Aux, like that "a dead" ending used on verbs. And if you remove the Aux, you get the word shade, so it could work. Besides, the elves were arguing about it, that implied that at least one of them would be safe. Besides the guide had said that the elves were good at manipulating the houses, it is to be expected. And they weren't planning on telling their employers first thing anyway, so they are safe. Either way he says nothing. -

De'kra clicks, "It why it work in stages. First only mention it one of six houses, then more might elves want more. Heroes and I not give elves all information at first, what might elves just stop at house? Heroes and I say first thing who hire us, no one take it back. But we give them more as elves ask, it give heroes and I more chances for safety. But might need, heroes and I reveal our hire-house, but not who guide." -

De'kra clicked, "I had suggest heroes and I tell elves; heroes and I hire from one of six houses. Might elves want more data, heroes and I state it in response to caravans being raided. Caravans tell elves it most likely Shadaeux or Crownies, because both houses merchants. But at same time Alchemists and Mages need to ship goods, so elves can not rule latter two houses out entirely. You think?" -
Agreed, I am a little scared to make a quest, I am not sure I can stand up to the current plots and images.

Nice, I have yet to see one in the game, which might be a good thing. A lot of nice detail is in this, something about how some it's body seems makes it even more alien. Do you hav plans to build this?

De'kra found it odd that they all seemed to be in agreement, yet no plan had been written in stone yet. "What heroes and I own exact words heroes and I say?" clicked the shade, "Heroes and I know to tread carefully, but what exact guidelines? Idea of what to or not to say might different between heroes. You think?" -
Wow, De'kra has recognition, and its positive. I didn't expect him to be noticed, especially by the veterans. I personally worry that its too obvious what he is; secretly he is a demonic manifestation of lust, thats why everyone likes him. Why else would he care so much about Abraxas and what people knew about demons, he wanted to make sure his territory was safe. And he can't understand love, because he is its corruption. Joking aside, I am not sure who my favorite character is, but Cronk is awesome and Cinna seems to go the extra mile with her journel.

De'kra nods, and understands again why Tomas was the leader. The shade's interactions with people up till now had been limited to only shallow interactions, this was much more complex. Honestly he should just sit back and let the more skilled talk, but he might strike a good point, eventually. "Guide say most interaction people remember," he clicked, "but memory play tricks. Back home...memories were stolen of thousands of years." -

De'kra clicked, "It make situation easier. Heroes and I say group hire from one of six houses to investigate raids on caravans? Elves might know house we hire of most likely Shadeaux or Crownies because of caravan nature, but Alchemists and Mages might need rare resources import. And even one raids on last two might require heroes. Thoughts?" -

De'kra nodded at hero and dark power's words and clicked, "I wonder it little. I understand elves want to keep invaders off Uland, it possible elves want to only defeat lion knights. But I not know relations elves have and six houses. Lion knights might tactic to swell territory and get supplies. Currently Heroes and I have no proof of connection, and heroes and I have no leads. Heroes and I also in village of elves, heroes and I at Elves' mercy. Quide; how much heroes and I say? How relations of you home and elves?" -

De'kra checks the ceiling, and makes a note to carry around a stick in the future for poking things. "Heroes and I not assume elves foolish," said De'kra, "elves might not like leave land, but elves no like outsiders. Know "enemy" to defeat it. Possible elves have seen guide before, and not now then later elves remember. How much safe to reveal to elves? I know it not much, but best tricks come from partial truths." -

De'kra bowed his head in thanks to the elves, and followed in after the groups leader. The shade decided to wait till he heard the others' thoughts, or at least some of the opinions on this matter. -

De'kra could see that the situation was being handled well, at least as best as it could be. It is only natural that the elves want to know about hired help, otherwise they might be betrayed, or their could be a conflict of interest. De'kra couldn't help but notice those ears, with such hearing appendages the odds were that anything the group whispered, the elves would hear. They would have to speak carefully. -
true enough on the half year sages, but by 2004 those were replaced by year long arcs, the exception being 2008 depending on your persepective. I count 2000 because I have heard tales of either sets coming out in certain regions in that year, or the site first coming up then. The latter example won't work for most themese, but since Bionicle is highly story related the dawn of the official site could work as its start. I don't know where nine inch came from, since I don't measure my Lego sets.
-
The Inika sets were in 2006, but the first Bionicle sets were in 2001. And in some areas Bionicle started in 2000. Not to mention that unlike Hero Factory, one sage was a year long, not six months. In short the Inika were at least five years into Bionicle, not four hero factory rotations, though these Toa had all appeared previously to this as Matoran.

I know, but if what I saw was Surge's hand, it was on top of the gun. Its not that he has to hold it upside down, but judging by the picture that is how he holds it.
-
Wow, this is one massive railroad. I can't help but worry about those glorious trains being trampled by guests or enslaved quadrupeds(dogs/cats). I can't imagine how hard it is to maintain it.
-
I can't tell, I think I see a hand, but that mean that Surge holds his gun upside down.
-
How did I miss that, either way it has a nice design, I am fond of symertircal ships, especially vessels that are reflections of many sides.

De'kra wondered if Tomas would have a response. The shade hoped that the cleric wouldn't lie, as that could doom them all. But at the same time he couldn't reveal who they were working for. But the elves knew that the group was hired to stop the Lion Knights, which would undoubtively lead to a paradox. Was it a test to prove character? Or was De'kra overthinking this?
