  1. Yeah, as an outsider I think that sword won't last. The Ancient part of its name screams rusted and battle worn to me.
  2. Yeah, the power of love is really pathetic, Craig should have become converted. I can't help but feel that Cybermen don't get much respect, they are only a real threat in Pete's world, possibly because there is no sign of the Doctor. Even in Doomsday the Daleks quickly extreminate them. And in a Good Man goes to war a whole fleet gets destroyed for no reason. I think that the Cybermen should be regarded as the most terrifying race in Doctor Who, as they are the Doctor's favorite race in a twisted form. They are the Borg, but without cube-ships. And worse, the Cybermen of Pete's World were not the result of an alien experiment, the humans there did it to themselves, and their fellow men. They are Tolcrafe, only they didn't do so to survive the end of the universe. And they don't even have the greed, pride, and hate of humanity. With all of this, not to mention most of their hosts are unwilling(at least in Pete's World) they could be a great villian race in Doctor Who. The Daleks will kill, but the Cybermen will twist you into their own evil image. Also, Stormeggedon amuses me.
  3. If we survive, that is. Still, the 2000 gold on the sign up will make up for any pain we feel, even though I believe it gets divided into 250 gold apiece. And with new weapons and improved relations, what more could there be?
  4. I am a little confused by this statement. Unless I am horribly mistaken about lingo, system is the tradition Lego bricks. As far as I can see the pieces actually connect worse than Bionicle to system.
  5. Are the game masters trying to kill us then? Thank goodness I can flee...
  6. I am not sure, do alternate realities of Marvel count? Age of Apocolapse has some interesting characters. If not, maybe Nightwing.
  7. Good to know. I actually liked the grey color scheme, it seemed grim and faceless. A military force isn't going to paint their vehicles, unless they are trying to blend in with terrain. But a grey vehicle fits the color scheme needs well.
  8. On the matter of the Shadeaux House's elder daughter, which of the two trade houses do you(as in anyone) prefer? Personally I like the Shadaeux, because that house seems more honest. They don't hide their methods behind wealth, and they don't flaunt their money. I know they aren't heroes, but at least they don't have such an egotistic symbol. While the Hinckwells use a crown; the symbol of kings, to represent them, the Shadeaux use a bat; a creature of stealth that hunts in the night. Ironically the house that seems the darker of the two seems the more honest about their real nature, at least to me.
  9. I usually check Bioniclesector01 when curious for a Bionicle serial update, as they not only feature the serial chapters word for word(which is useful if you have trouble listening to the spoken serials), but it also has helpful links in the text. So if you have forgotten who Mavrah is(which isn't too hard), the Powers that Be has the link to his page, allowing you to read up on this very...special Onu-Matoran.
  10. De'kra shrugs and clicks, "Everyone animal, even humans, Orcs, and Elves. What else? Plants? Only not animals; plants and metal creatures. It simple, people deny it think they more important than truth. I still attack rogue."
  11. Agreed, without a Tardis it is hard to identify it as a Doctor Who scene. Regardless it's a nice vignette, but what does the 2E in the background stand for?
  12. Nice creation, what's the leg piece on the middle joint made from? Either way, I really like the design, it flows well together.
  13. De'kra asks the ranger again if he could see if his skills could pacify the attackers. Although the knight had failed, as far as De'kra noticed the ranger had not yet tried his skill yet.
  14. Agreed. Odds are Lego would have learned their message last time. Hopefully.
  15. No, De'kra might be old for his race, but he doesn't want to die today.
  16. The complaints I heard the most was about the Inika build and "ape-arms." Everyone seemed to hate them, or at least from what I gathered. All in all, you don't know what you got till it's gone... When will we get the next chapter of Yesterday's Quest and the Powers that Be anyway?
  17. De'kra clicked, "Bear men listen to ranger? Not, I attack other rogue. I hope I not sleep-forever. Near long sleep, I retreat, like other hero say."
  18. De'kra glances at the six foes, and wonder who he would be best at dueling with. He might be close to theRogue in base stats, but that foe had much more health and a greater level. "Who I attack?" the rogue asked, "Leader have plan for heroes and I?"
  19. To me the backstory and in-depth stories are much more enjoyable, as they force the reader into a deeper connection with the story. For example in one Bionicle, Zaktan has found a wall detailing Makuta's plan. Not only is the plan extremely detailed, but it is said tohavedire consequences for the universe. The fact that this, written ages ago, had plansin case a To a of Lightever existed showed that Makutawas ready for everything. And so the fans began to dig, looking for clues in the years of the past. It was like an Encyclopedia brown novel, the clues were there, you just had to look for them. With a detailed story, you can lay clues years ahead of their culmination point, if scone right.
  20. Do you have plans to make the Diamond Sword of Awesome? We know that he will one day get his diamond sword back, as when they had the vision of the future Riker had a sword of diamond in his hands. It could be that the video was made before he lost his sword, but I refuse to believe that they plan that far ahead. One topic, how hard is it to balance the spaceman? He is quite a bot taller and has thinner legs, so I am guessing he is quite top heavy?
  21. Personally I think Bionicle ended because it had grown to powerful, and the other themes betrayed it out of jealousy. But I also believed that Ninjas would kidnap me in my sleep for many years, so I clearly have loose ties to reality. On the matter of castle, it depends on your point of view if it lasted very long. The different fractions changed frequently, and rarely did one single fraction last long. To me the castle series, along with space; was really just a bunch of reboots. Classic space did last a long time though. City was the same theme for ages with no reboots, but keep in mind city has no plot whatsoever.
  22. De'kra isn't sure if this plan is safe, but does not voice his concerns. His knowledge of this realm is limited at best, for all he knows this plan could work.
  23. True enough, and Megatron in Prime seems to think he's a herald.
  24. Well as police figures they had to do a prison break arc sometime. There are other plots that Lego can consider though, given the science fiction nature of the theme. I hope one day a group of Heroes travel to a mirror universe, where a Dark Lord Furno rules their reality with fear.
  25. Depends, I personally think over aching stories are vital, one arch stories leave me hungry for connected plots. But the first few years of Bionicle were upgrade stories, from Mata to Golden Masks to Nuva. Though to be fair the Golden Masks were earned after questing for twelve different masks for each Toa.
