  1. Honestly, I don't see what justifies the $25. Yes, it has a Tauntaun, and 5 figs, but only 155 pcs. And none of the figs are new. Besides, if the upcoming BPs really are Hoth, they will have a much better value than this set. For OT, I'd say Endor. As for CW, it kinda depends on what you already got, and what you are interested in, but the Snail Tank is a neat little set.
  2. Well, personally, I don't think that castle siege is such a great set as it is made out of mostly just <insert that tiresome argument> wall and BURP pieces. If you get tower raid, drawbridge defence, and other crownie sets and put them together, you'll probably end up with a better castle than that in castle siege. Also, even though the warship is a cool set, it will probably be enough to get the troll fortress as that one comes with much better figs and is more useful because it provides your trolls with a base. Besides, the warship has no other ship to oppose. And if you ask me, the design of the Dwarves mine is kind of pointless, but it's still a nice set I guess. The Market Village, on the other hand, is a total must-buy! Let's hope it'll go on sale eventually, just like many other expensive S@H exclusives. Btw, the Troll Assault Wagon is on clearance in Target as well, just in case you don't have that one yet or could use a second one.
  3. Sounds like a good list (although it is indeed an expensive one). A problem I see is that some of the sets are selling/sold out, so it'll be hard to obtain those, like castle siege, skeleton tower, and warship. I have one good news though: Target has its Lego clearance right now, and it includes tower raid, so if you want that set, you should try to find a Target store that still has it.
  4. I see. Well, it's kinda good for parts, but the set design obviously sucks (except for that neat back-mounted drill thingy). As a set, the mine mech is a much better choice. Not really IMO. To me, it looks like a Technic construction with wheels and blades attached to it and some <insert that tiresome argument> pieces on top. You can find a review of it here, and probably more on brickshelf. So, the best idea for you would probably be to get the UMS and start saving up for the Cave Crusher.
  5. Care to explain why you hope so? Anyway, the figs are final, so what you see is what you get, which is normal minifigs with new head molds and two of them with slightly longer arms and legs. There is a slight chance that the Duplo figs could be similar to the Jack Stone ones, but who cares about Duplo anyway?
  6. No! Get the Crystal King! Seriously though, the Cave Crusher seems to be a good one, so I would wait for that to come out. But then again, if you already have so many of the vehicles, you might need a base for them, so the UMS seems like a good idea as well. On the other hand, that set has few figs and has kind of a pointless design. But anything can be modded. It depends on what you want. Btw, why are you so sure you aren't going to post anymore?
  7. Because it's just a bunch of 1x? bricks and curved pieces on a baseplate. There's about as much point in reviewing this as in reviewing a brick bucket.
  8. There's no topic for it because we have a topic for all cartoon shows right here. It's only a few topics below yours, so do some searching before you create topics next time. And you lost almost all your faith in a show just because of some stupid pictures some kid drew? A little exaggerated if you ask me. Anyway, I like the show's humor. If I stumble upon an episode I haven't seen, I watch it. But it doesn't interest me enough to record new episodes or anything. My favorite episode is "Band Geeks". It was half awesome, half hilarious seeing SpongeBob and the gang getting down to "Sweet Victory", and it was good to see Squidward have his day.
  9. No. I was counting Toy Story 1-3. And the TS figs are NOT DUPLO!
  10. Sure, it's a possibility, I guess, especially since the most memorable thing from the movie is a vehicle. However, looking at that trailer, it seems to have a somewhat darker tone than the previous tron, so I'm not sure whether TLC will go for it. Besides, we are already getting System sets from four Disney movies next year, so this would probably be too much.
  11. All videogame speculations aside, why would there be Cold Assault Troopers on Geonosis, or Geonosians on an ice planet? I'm pretty sure that they are either fighting some creatures or melting through ice. Btw, here is a pic of CW Bossk from the rumors thread: Just thought it should be posted here.
  12. Well, considering it has twice the amount of figs as a Castle BP, which cost $15, I fear it's not unlikely that it might cost $30, or at least $25.
  13. You guys do realize that the gold bricks are most likely magnets and not normal bricks, right?
  14. This is all great stuff. Even the Pirates money box with its exclusive sail and glow-in-the-dark octopus seems interesting. The VMF Vol. 4 is good, just like its predecessors, thanks to the Forestman and Blacktron figs. I'm a bit disappointed by the Pirate BP though. I mean, who needs an army of Brickbeards and Governors? Also, it's not very exciting that it includes the same Pirate as in the impulse set. That said, it's still a nice, cheap way of getting Brickbeard and the Governor, plus a monkey and treasure chest. But the Tic-Tac-Toe game seems to be a much better BP than the actual BP. The chrome-gold brick magnets look neat too. I hope they are cheap, considering it's only two of them. Not so sure about the Xmas stuff...
  15. I don't think the Falcon is CW. Even if there will be a young Han in the series, he wont have the falcon for a few years, let alone be old enough to pilot it. Or you could mod one of them into an AT-OT.
  16. Seconded. Along with Buzz and the LGMs! On that note, did you notice that his cape seems to be longer than previous capes? That could come in handy as well!
  17. Sure, why not. Well, I don't. Watching cartoon characters go through unimaginable amounts of physical pain, striving for a goal that they never reach, over and over again may amuse little children and easily entertained adults, but not me. I grew up watching quality Disney cartoons, and in comparison to those, Looney Tunes just seemed... silly. But I gotta admit, Space Jam is an awesome movie! Well, I guess it all comes together then. Good work, Sherlock Batbrick! How do you do it? Well, I can't find it on YouTube, so I guess you'll have to keep watching Robot Chicken reruns to catch that ep. No, I wasn't. That's what you call a Sopranos Ending. Lol. JK. I was gonna say "We'd be way behind in that case", but somehow I forgot to put the last part in. I take it that they have stopped airing the show where you live as well? Huh? Now I'm really confused. What episodes are those? Anyway, yeah, I'll watch 'em the next time I meet with my friend. We always watch BTBTB and CW eps together.
  18. Well, looking through jmenomeno's SDCC coverage, I saw this picture. So, if the games were shown at Comic-Con (which is in the US), it must mean that they will be released in the US eventually as well.
  19. I see. I thought that was your comic geed wisdom talking again. Meh, I'm just not a big fan of those 5th Dimension characters or the Looney Tunes. Yeah, that does sound pretty good. Here's for hoping he/it wont be just in a teaser, but in a main plot. I haven't seen Shawshank, but it was pretty funny for me nevertheless. Have you seen the "March of the Penguin"? Classic! Hm, interesting, thanks. I wonder when they will air them. Hopefully they wont wait until freaking October when the Clone Wars starts again to continue airing them. We'd be way Are they a two-parter? I'm tempted to watch them now. The Attack of the Zebra-posts has begun!
  20. Yeah, that's what I thought. The movie is just an adaption of the short film, a fleshed-out version of it, so to say.
  21. Indeed, the Batmech was awesome. Somebody simply has to MOC it some day! Yeah, that line was pretty funny, even though I didn't know it was a "classic" one. Yeah, I suppose so. Still, not my favorite by far. As for the Comic Con news: All those new names don't ring a bell, so I'm gonna have to have them surprise me. Good to know, though, that Hamill will be doing some part in this show! On that note, has anyone seen the Batman sketch in the recent Robot Chicken episode "But Not In That Way"? The one where Joker pretends to escape from Arkham through the sewer? Hamill voices the Joker there! I thought it was hilarious, just like the other Batman parodies they make. God, I love it when Hamill does the Joker Laugh! Btw, he stars in too, along with Adam West. It's not really Lego, but still very cool. Back on topic: The last two episodes I have seen are "Duel of the Double Crossers!" and "Last Bat On Earth!". Both were pretty good, being in a futuristic/post-apoc setting. Jonah Hex is a cool character (Which bounty hunter isn't? ) and it was interesting to learn more about Kamandi's future world. It was also interesting to see Professor Carter Nichols in that episode. I'm surprised, though, that "When OMAC Attacks!" and "The Fate of Equinox!" seem to have already aired, looking at Wikipedia and YouTube. I haven't seen them since CN has been showing stupid movies on Friday nights instead of BTBTB and The Secret Saturdays lately, and my TiVo didn't record any new BTBTB. Can somebody explain this to me?
  22. Exactly. So, Arthas, if you're so sure, I'll bet you a Venator set that they are OT. Are you in?
  23. What does that have to do with the CW? But yeah, I agree, it does look awesome. I'm gonna have to drag take my family there when it comes here in October.
  24. Well, I don't know if any of the seen Mandos is Boba or not, but what I do know is that they showed among the concept art at the Lucasfilm panel at Comic-Con, so is in the show, one way or another. What makes RH imature?
  25. I don't think so. If I remember correctly, the Hoth set was a limited edition/release set, Echo Base isn't. In fact, I think the Snail Tank will be harder to find than Echo Base, due to the popularity of The Clone Wars.
