  1. There were vehicles with wheels in the original Aquazone theme as well, but nobody complained about them. Why now? This set is called the Sand Cutter, so it was obviously designed to get around at the bottom of the sea. Not sure why you would build such a vehicle, but that's just how it is. Anyway, I'm pretty sure that the other sets wont have wheels.
  2. OK, well, I still don't see how that makes them dorky, but fine. Besides, what, except the heads, doesn't look useful to you? I, for one, can see several uses for many of the torsos, long limbs, and even Zurgs shoulder piece and cape. In that whoever posted these made the set names up, that's how. As salty_tbone pointed out, most of these don't sound like real set names. They lack the exciting terms. I was playing with the thought that these might be the Duplo sets, but since they have similar set numbers as the rest, that can't be.
  3. No, that's Squidman, silly! The set is called Squidman's Escape! How can you not know who Squidman is!
  4. Yes, we all noticed that the Sand Cutter is a trike with claws and a saw added to it. But I think that this is actually more part of the equation for 8056 - Monster Crab Encounter.
  5. Not sure if this has been asked already, but does our entry have to be motorized or could it be like the Hogwarts Express as well?
  6. They throw dynamites at them, imprison them, and possibly even use saws and drills on them. How is that not hurting them? Also, by stealing the crystals, the only thing the rock monsters eat, they will starve them to death eventually. Luckily, this Atlantis theme doesn't seem to be that brutal since the humans seem to be merely after the Atlanteans' treasure.
  7. Oh yeah, forgot about that episode. Well, I suppose they could make a set off of that ep. It would be awesome getting a fig of the rat guy. But, again, that's just assuming the sets are minifig scale.
  8. Two observations about that pic: 1. The fig seems to have normal legs, not the mermaid fin. 2. The fig looks shiny, so let's hope it's metallic blue!
  9. No, Flitzer is a real word and means something like "scooter", a fast little vehicle. So, I'm thinking it's a small $5-10 set like the Stone Chopper, but more suited to drive on lava. You might be right about it being a little boat.
  10. Those have already been translated here, but fine, here it goes again: 8056 - Monster Crab Encounter 8057 - Underwater Scooter 8058 - Giant Shark 8059 - Sand Cutter 8060 - Turbojet 8061 - Squid Gate 8075 - Neptune's Submarine
  11. Why are you so certain? Yes, it would make more sense at the moment, but all rumors up to now have specifically stated Droid Tri-Fighter, including amazon. So we'll have to asume for now that that's what we're getting. Sorry if that makes you suicidal.
  12. Yeah, I've seen these so-called sets in stores. They're actually not bad in that they look very much like their movie counterparts. Not sure how exactly Lego is going to top that, I'm sure they will.
  13. I often see the original Star Trek series on TV as well, but that doesn't mean we'll get sets from it. In other words: Reruns don't count! Er, no. It's not an original CN series. CW is made by LucasAnimation, Lucasfilm's own animation studio. CN only has the privilege of airing it. Yes, but only for an eighth of an episode, during which it was only parked. I highly doubt they'll make a set off of that. Besides, I still have the feeling these wont be minifig scale.
  14. You could also try resting it on clear, non-lego objects like glass cups.
  15. Interesting. This must be 8059 Sand Cutter. Thanks for posting! Judging from that image, this theme looks like a combo of underwater Bionicle sets and Power Miners. Not sure if I'm liking it. I'll have to see the other sets to make a judgment. One thing is for sure tho: that trident is sweet!
  16. Okay, first of all, I was joking. Of course I'm not certain it'll end, how could I be? Of course it's just my opinion, and that's just based on intuition. Besides, I'm not saying it's already dead. I could still imagine another wave, but I have the feeling it'll be over soon. The fact that some guy claims that some other guy who happens to work at a lego store claims that there will be more Indy doesn't mean anything (i.e. doesn't mean TLC officially "sent out something"), but if you wanna put your trust into that, fine.
  17. Don't worry, we will (or I will anyway). Could you please explain what's supposed to be "dorky" about the Toy Story figs?
  18. I don't think so. It's obvious that these names are all jumbled up and should have the words "Power Miners" always first. They are unofficial and probably just names somebody made up, hopefully based on real sets. It would be slightly surprising to me to see another wave of PM since I was under the impression that people didn't like the sets much, but certainly not unwelcome.
  19. Er... Those are the same ones posted a while ago, minus the BPs.
  20. You don't have to, there already is one. Sheesh! No sense of humor. Fine, I'll remove that line for you. Anyway, could you please elaborate what you meant to say? What you posted doesn't make much sense.
  21. Huh? Those sound very similar to the Aqua Raiders sets. Are you sure you aren't making these up?
  22. And here is the translation: 7590 - Buzz and Woody's Rescue 7593 - Buzz' Star Command Spaceship 7594 - Woody's Round-up! 7595 - Green Toy Soldiers Although I am happy there are finally rumors about the sets popping up, I'm kinda disappointed at the same time. These kind of sound like someone just made them up, based on the SDCC pics. Oh well, let's analyse them anyway, shall we? 7590 sounds like the set we saw at SDCC, the one with Woody, Buzz, RC the car, and the "The Big One" rocket. 7591 is probably the set with the Zurg fig. But I highly doubt it'll just be called "Zurg". 7592 Hm... Don't know what this could be. The only thing that comes to mind would be a large model of Buzz in the style of the Build-A-Bob, but that's maybe just what I hope it is. 7593 Not surprised to see a set like this. It's probably the card board space ship Buzz arrives in in TS1. This could be the set to include the LGM alien, although that wouldn't make much sense since we never saw the LGMs and the ship/box in one scene. For now, this is the set I'm most excited about. 7594 is obviously the set that includes Jessie, Bullseye, and Stinky Pete. I reckon the set will be comprised of Woody-themed toys as seen in TS2. 7595, well, is obviously the set with the army men everyone is so excited about. Who knows what the actual set is though. Again, I would have hoped for a little more info, but I'm still happy to see simple rumors like these. What does that have to do with Toy Story, or the Licensed forum for that matter.
  23. I never needed a female with glasses, so I never thought about it, but you are right of course, we do need more females with glasses. Or more females in general. I'd even be happy with a version of that last head you posted with lipstick around the mouth line. That head would work just fine for Velma btw. Can't wait to see your Scooby Gang. You forgot a head with also futuristic sunglasses though.
  24. Interesting. A Freeco Bike, eh? Figures, as I was surprised we haven't seen one yet. Now, let's just pray for Cold Assault troopers! This still doesn't confirm anything of course, but it's getting there. I doubt it, since it would be even stranger to confuse a Freeco Bike with Luke's Landspeeder. Then again, anything is possible. Seriously. But I'm sure they'll include some kind of special fig in that set for the "Wow Factor".
  25. Oh. I didn't know that. Thanks. Well, I guess that would make sense then. A BP with only Snowtroopers would have been kinda boring anyway, and considering that there has always been one new, temporarily exclusive fig in every BP released to date, I could imagine that this is such a Snow-scout trooper with a new torso. Something tells me your psychic powers are kicking in again here. About the background rebels: I agree. Sorry, I just find it hilarious how some people are still trying to prove that these aren't OT. As much as I wish they were PT, I think it's obvious they're not. And no, Arthas, it's too late to call off the bet. About the ARC and Tri: I think it's not so strange that they are relaesing another ARC. I'm sure it will show up in the CW eventually and I think that the set designers can do a better job at it. The last one had, as someone had pointed out, "too many holes". And as for the Tri, well, I agree that it would seem to make more sense for it to be a Tri-droid at the moment, but if there will be an ARC 170 in the CW show, why not a Tri-Fighter? Not sure how it would look different from the first one, but I'm sure the designers will think of something. It could certainly turn out to be a confusion, but it is quite strange how it specifically says "Droid Tri-Fighter". Oh well, I guess time will tell.
