Yeah, I too feel like this is just gonna be an upgrade of SP3, based on the looks of the figs and the speculated name of the theme. I'm guessing now the aliens aren't just mere criminals, but full-blown galactic conquerors, and this "ADF" team are sort of Starship Troopers defending the earth against them. So, basically it's SP3 but with a slightly more military vibe to it. At least that's what I imagine it will be at this point. Either way, I hope that the aliens get a bit more focus this time around, kinda like they did in Mars Mission. SP3 was rather biased toward the humans.

No, you certainly don't make any sense. Come on, you sound like you're not even giving the theme a chance! If you don't know what it is about and what the sets represent, you shouldn't just say "Ew! That's weird! I don't like it!". Just browse Brickipedia, it will answer most of your questions. The theme is obviously inspired by the Back to the Future movies with the teenage boy and eccentric scientist as protagonists and vehicles as time machines, but instead of a DeLorean or Western Train, they have crazy, fun contraptions. As a kid, I thought that was a very fun concept and I'm very sad to see that nobody seems to share that view with me here. But looking back at it now, the designs do seem a bit too random. Still, as a theme, I think NinjaGo is stranger as it mixes so many different things together.

I bet it will be a crawl summing up the events of AotC and then a small cutscene leading up to the first battle. They don't need to retell the whole story again. However, I can't see how they're gonna transition from the end of AotC to Ambush. Could it be that these AotC levels are bonus levels?

OK, I suppose there is a slight chance they might be, but that would be very repetitive from S3, and like CB said, quite a strange coincidence. Besides, we just received pics of S4, so I find it unlikely we'd get such finalized pics of S5 so soon. Uhm, I'm pretty sure these are the PM-like soldiers that were mentioned. It's the so-called civilian we don't know what it looks like yet.

I don't think they can. The original rumors said that these were seen in a sort of battle pack with two of the astronauts, two aliens, and another fig. Why is it so bad that there wasn't a new theme this year? The SP3 sets we got were good enough IMO. By the way, could a mod possibly put those pics into the first post? Also, since this theme is pretty much confirmed, why not pin this thread?

Yes, these are definitely part of that new theme as they fit the original description perfectly: "2 aliens, different heads but a rather disgusting colour of green with 2 what seems like Power Miners suited soldiers". I too have mixed feelings. They don't look bad, but also not terribly interesting. I'll have to wait for pics of the sets to make up my mind. So, does this mean we can expect pics of this theme from Toy Fair?

You're doing that on purpose, aren't you? Yeah, but then again, why would you want them to. However, I think the settings could be compatible with City if your city is made for 4-wide cars. Playsets such as Flo's V8 Cafe will make great additions to any town plan, I'm sure.

Sorry for the double post, but I found this on brickset. Apparently it was given out as a "gift to LEGO employees and business partners". Too bad it's not more widely available since it looks like a good parts pack with that snow-covered tree, trans-neon sea star, and all those brown and tan bits.

Now I know why they didn't advertise this earlier. That was pretty weak. RC certainly has lost its wit since the third season. Still funnier than the third Family Guy parody, but by far not as good as the first RCSW. Most of the Palpatine bits were just redundant and there were only like three sketches where I really laughed. Not even the Lego sketch was all that great. And what was up with all those black guy jokes? The Kaminoan and Kenobi were pretty funny though. I wouldn't mind if they made another one, but I wouldn't necessarily look forward to it either.

Yeah, that was kinda cute, but the ninjago hats are probably larger than pirate hats, so that would just look ridiculous. I think micro-sensei looks just right with that 2x2 dish.

I think they're neat, even if for those printed tiles alone. Not really worth the money though. I don't like the new kind where the upper right corner is missing and that you can't get the HP case on its own. Also, I find it funny that they used white tiles with a different color printed on top of them instead of differently colored tiles. And yes, those game card cases do seem rather useless. It would be awesome if they would release a Lego PS3 controller or PS Move wand, but I'm not sure if that would be even practical.

Interesting theory. I don't know if that's really the case, but you might be on to something. Yeah, but then again, those would be way too large for a microfig! Way to think in the spirit of HP Month! Yes, that set/game is very useful for HP MOCs, if only for the five chocolate frogs alone!

Thanks for the nice review. I really like the set and will definitely get one. Your spelling needs work, and some of your pics are a bit yellow, but otherwise good job. Also: It IS a civillian speeder. It just happens to have the same color scheme as the Death Watch armor. And the Technic piece is a headlight, not a machine gun.
