  1. Perhaps Diana is intercepting my owl. Oh well, I still kicked her little Death Eater butt. I'm so glad I got Sectumsempra! Diana's pretty face aint so pretty no more. Walter Kovacs VS. Ollivander Dippet Round 2 Walter_______________________________Ollivander Crucio - 1_____________________________Sectumsempra Mid - 0 High - 0 ______________________________Protego - 0 Low - 0_______________________________Expelliarmus - 0 Mid - 0_______________________________Expecto Patronum - 0 High - 1_______________________________Low - 0 Health: 5____________________________Health: 1 Ollivander tried saying "Sectumsempra" again, but Walter quickly said "Crucio", making Dippet crumble in pain. Walter tried hitting his opponent again, but Ollivander yelled "Protego" and the spell bounced off of his shield and hit a plant pot nearby, which exploded into thousands of pieces. Before Walter could make any other attempt, Ollivander disarmed him. However, the Ravenclaw quickly recovered his wand and shot another spell towards Dippet, who in order to protect himself summoned his patronus once more. Ollivander then tried to hit Walter's legs, but missed. Walter used this opportunity to cast a spell at Dippet's upper body, causing him to fly back, leaving a skid mark of dirt on the floor. With Ollivander lying on the floor, weakened, Walter approached him with his wand raised and with hopeful glow in his eyes... Two more points for Walter! Unless CF can pull of a perfect round, it's looking bleak for Ollivander. Send me your next DSs please!
  2. What's with the defensive spells, Diana? Are you scared? You should be! DS sent! Walter Kovacs VS. Ollivander Dippet Round 1 Walter_______________________________Ollivander Low - 0_______________________________Expelliarmus - 0 High - 0 ______________________________Expecto Patronum - 0 Crucio - 0_____________________________Protego - 0 Mid - 1_______________________________Silencio - 0 Mid - 1_______________________________Sectumsempra - high - 0 Health: 5____________________________Health: 3 After his crushing defeat again Johann, Walter felt depressed again. He left the Great Hall and crossed the Entrance Hall in order to get to the Ravenclaw Tower to rest. In that moment, a furious Ollivander Dippet, dripping of dirt, came bursting through the front door. "Bloody hell, I can't believe I lost again! I'm the unluckiest guy in the Dueling Club!" he exclaimed. Walter raised an eyebrow: "You? No way, I am the unluckiest guy in school!" "Impossible," said Ollivander, "the last duel I saw you fight, you won. I can't even remember the last time I won a duel!" "But I have the highest loosing rate out of everyone. You're at least already a Magus!" "Yeah, an unlucky Magus!" "Trust me, I'm the unluckiest," Walter said frustratedly. "Oh yeah? Prove it!" replied Dippet and pulled out his wand. Walter took a deep breath and presented his as well. The Duel of the Luckless began... Walter tried to hit Ollivander's legs, but got disarmed before he could do so. He grabbed his wand off the floor and aimed at Dippet's head. But in that moment, Ollivander summoned his patronus which caused Walter to miss. Walter then tried to use the unforgivable curse on the Gryffindor, but Ollivander cast a shield charm just in time. Ollivander thought that after such an attack, Kovacs would create a shield as well, so he cast a silencing charm, but he was wrong. Walter hit him with a spell right in the chest. Trying to even the score again, Dippet started to say "Sectumsemp..." but was interrupted by another hit from Walter. After the first round, Walter is two points ahead! Looks like you might not be so luckless after all! Let's see those Round 2 DSs to see if CF can catch up!
  3. Really? Wow. I know it has three times as many weapons as a spinner pack, but it doesn't have a spinner and only two cards, so what justifies the extra five bucks? The limited edition tag? Oh well, at least it's still better than the Battle Arena which only comes with one weapon, a spinner, and a useless arena.
  4. You mean this? It was mentioned recently in the Ninjago discussion thread (which by the way is probably where you should have posted this question). Not much is known about it, so you as a owner of this set probably know more about it than we do. Can you tell us how much it cost? Oh, and welcome to EB!
  5. Thanks, I'll send my owl now. Well, if KDM doesn't want to do it, I can do it, I guess.
  6. You can see him without his mask in this video. I don't think we'll get casual versions of the figs, just like we never got non-diving-gear versions of the Atlantis crew.
  7. Congrats, buddy! That green certainly suits your avatar! ;-)

  8. Nice work, KDM! Now, how does Diana feel about trying out her new-found talent against an old foe?
  9. Have you checked Amazon? There are several people who have copies of it. I, however, don't. I saw bits and pieces of it on TV once and it seemed very cheesy and lame and not very starwarsy, so I never really watched it.
  10. Walter Kovacs VS. Johann Peterschmut Round 2 Walter_______________________________Johann Mid - 0_______________________________Low - 1 Mid - 0_______________________________Crucio - 1 Low - 0_______________________________Protego - 0 High - 0_______________________________Mid - 1 Crucio - 0 ____________________________Expelliarmus - 0 Health: 0____________________________Health: 4 Walter fired a spell toward Johann, but he dodged it and cast a leg-locker curse on Walter, who immediately fell over. Walter tried to hit Johann once more, but missed again, giving the Slytherin the chance to put the Cruciatus Curse on him. Once the pains left his body, Walter aimed a spell at Johann's feet, but he quickly yelled "Protego!" making the spell bounce off of his shield. He fired another one at Johann's head, but Johann ducked and shot a spell right at Walter's chest, knocking him out. "Und stay down!" said the German with a grin on his face and left the room. When Walter came to his senses, he thought "Here we go again..." Winner: Johann Peterschmut Congrats, Ron! You're one step closer to being a Death Eater! Too bad, Walter, looks like your bad luck has caught up with you again. Please update your profiles.
  11. Oh, I thought the parts that said "Defeated" meant "Defeated by". My bad. But what did you mean when you said you were "one win away from Practitioner"? Did you mean Adept?
  12. Walter Kovacs VS. Johann Peterschmut Round 1 Walter_______________________________Johann Low - 0_______________________________Expelliarmus - 0 Mid - 0_______________________________Mid - 1 Low - 0_______________________________Crucio - 1 Crucio - 1 ____________________________Low - 0 High - 0______________________________Protego - 0 Health: 3____________________________Health: 4 Motivated by his recent win against Skylar Cisco, Walter was hopeful that his luck might have finally turned around, so he challenged his old nemesis, Johann Peterschmut, to a duel. "Coming back for more, I see. Haven't I beaten you enough already?" said the Slytherin with his German accent. "Very well, I can always use anozer win." "We'll see about that," said Walter, "Take that!" He shot a spell at Johann's legs, but he missed. Johann quickly disarmed his opponent and hit him in the chest. Walter fell onto the floor and Johann yelled "Crucio!" causing Walter to scream in pain. Once the effects of the curse wore off, Walter grabbed his wand and cast the very same curse onto Johann who immediately collapsed under pain, shouting out German curse words. Walter got up and tried to hit the Slytherin's head, but Johann pulled up a shield charm just in time. Looks like Johann is in lead already. Let's see what happens in the next round! Send me your DSs please! @ Walter: Could you please update your character profile? It's a bit unclear wheather you're a practitioner or not and how many wins you had since your duel history is incomplete. Thanks.
  13. It still looks like a hogwarts uniform to me, but that's a good guess! A new Triwizard Tournament Harry would be a great special version of Harry to get, so it makes the most sense to me!
  14. I haven't done anything here in a while, so sure, I can adj for you. Write your DSs; I'll be awaiting your owls.
  15. No, more as in "ninja" but with a stretched-out "ah" sound. Just see for yourself: Yeah, it looks like a $20-ish set and seems to have some good parts, including a tan skeleton, that sweet fire sword, some other weapons, hopefully printed flags, and whatever that shiny thing in the treasure chest is! Hehe, yeah, it's quite similar isn't it? Four young warriors trying to become masters of their respective elements by collecting magical weapons and fighting bad guys with machines...
  16. I just scored a great deal at Borders and got my second Ostrich Race for little more than $7! Anyone interested in some ostriches?
  17. Wow, that actually has a very nice ring to it! Been there, done that. Seriously, I too would love a new jungle theme with mayan temples and natives as the "bad guys"!
  18. Hm... Are you sure that's not just coincidence? I have not seen anywhere where it indicates to do so. I'm sure you can put the scarab anywhere, but I don't see any place to put the Golden Staff Guardians set except maybe on top of that "backdoor" with the explosion feature. On the other hand, that would explain why TLC included a second pit instead of some other play feature... Either way, I agree, it would be interesting to see all the sets together.
  19. I don't think they're meant to be connected. They're separate locations scattered throughout the desert. I suppose you could put all the smaller sets next to the pyramid if you wanted to, but I can't do it. I only own 7306, 7307, and 7325.
  20. Thanks. Yeah, I've been thinking where I could put the kopesh if I had it, and I think the best way would probably be to stick the soul diamond into the nemes and stick the kopesh onto the staff. The staff might end up looking weird, but it would be the least ridiculous looking way to do it. Hm, I've always wanted to build a museum... maybe when I get the grooved round brick parts pack Temple of Atlantis I will... No and no. All the figs in the picture used to be keychains.
  21. I don't know if it's too late, or if it even matters for the judging, but I retook the pic in daylight so that it's not that grainy. However, the light inside the house came out kind of weak on this one and not quite as warm and cozy as it was in the first. Should I replace the pic in the first post with this new one? Yup. Well, I was thinking about including a moisture vaporator or gonk droid in the scene, but I didn't want the shot to be too cluttered, especially since I wanted to convey the sense of loneliness. Besides, the shot is meant to appeal to SW-fans, so it doesn't really matter if the average Joe doesn't immediately recognize what theme it's from.
  22. Oh no! Looks like my Amset Ra has almost collected all the treasures! If I buy the Sphinx set, my Lego world will be doomed! Sorry if this is off topic, but since there's no Action Themes Photography thread, I didn't know where else to post it.
  23. Well, I guess this confirms that Nya is more the damsel-in-distress type of girl. I'm not surprised though, seeing how much this theme is geared towards boys. That Dragon/Fire Sword looks awesome.

    [MOC] AirType

Brick Stealer! You have no shame, do you? I hope that story isn't true. Anyway, nice MOC. The long and thick front looks a bit weird, but overall it sure looks sleek and fast! Is it supposed to be micro-scale? Because I can't really see any place for a minifig to sit. Unless that skull is piloting the ship.

    Most Wanted

Very nice idea, Jammie! Being a crime lord, I'm sure Jabba always gets coal. But as I already told you via PM, you shoulda used some extra lighting. My screen is on its brightest setting and I can hardly see anything but flames and some studs. Good luck anyway! Don't worry, I'm sure a lot of people think about themselves that way.
