  1. The box art pics do look much better, but it looks significantly worse than even the first image when viewed from any head on angle. With that size of platform, the hull desperately needed to be 8 studs wide.
  2. Oh wow, it looks even better in physical bricks!
  3. I don't know, it still looks too tall and thin to me. If it were a brick or two shorter even with the "<insert that tiresome argument>" parts, I think the proportions would work out a lot better. Still, the ability to put multiple figs in it makes it a lot more fun for kids to play with than the 2017 version.
  4. I'd give it smaller turrets in the classic Kuat bridge flanking setup. Maybe 2 on each side?
  5. Really hoping we get Nala Se. If Lego is willing to invest in a new, unique mould for such an old(ish) movie, theres no way they only use it once
  6. I'm guessing it will be on the same level as the blacksmith, just larger and, ya know, a castle.
  7. Wow! Those cockpit angles look fantastic!
  8. I can understand a bad PPP here, it looks like it has a lot of large, expensive parts. Either way, its still way overpriced.
  9. maybe the tank will look better with more pictures, but I'm really not a fan of that build. At least you can fit two figs in it I guess.
  10. My guess is that the sets were delayed with the movie, so the prototypes ended up being made much earlier than usual
  11. lmao I display my 2002 and my 2022 p1 clones together My favorite of the three has to be the trench run. Dagobah is great, but I don't think the trash compacter is the best scene for one of these display models, especially at that price
  12. Yes! I was worried we wouldn't get any sets from the first one. Can't wait to see pics in like 6 months!
  13. That looks excellent! I especially love how smooth the transition is between the straight and angled sections of the hull. One suggestion I could make would be to use studded surfaces intentionally as a texture so that the wedge plate studs don't feel so out of place, but the tiled surfaces do look really good
  14. Just watched the Kenobi trailer and I'm glad the inquisitors are coming back, but their costumes just look like a half decent cosplay. Their ship also just looks like Krennic's shuttle if you lengthen the body and make the wings small. Idk, I just find it hard to get excited about the designs
  15. Well, the dwarf spider droid means that it will almost definitely be from aotc / tcw / rots
  16. If its similar to the 2013 one, idk how it could be worth $140. I guess we'll have to wait for pictures to really judge it though. Previous models have less than 40 still, a 50% increase in price for just 30% more parts just feels weird, hopefully it has a lot of good minifigs
  17. On one hand, it looks like there are a lot of those new 1x4 with curved top in lbg, which are most likely going to be used on the new castle, but it still looks to me like a collection of individual builds placed next to each other rather than one coherent model
  18. Minifigs for the AT-TE: Clone Trooper Captain, Clone Trooper, Shaak Ti (or some other Jedi we haven't gotten in a while or at all), and 2x Super Battle Droids. Minifigs for the (speculated) Gunship: either 2x Clone Pilots or a Clone Trooper and a Clone Lieutenant, Anakin, Obi Wan, Padme, and a new Droideka build. I know they aren't as glamorous as other wishlists, but I think they are a lot more realistic. One thing I don't want is just one pilot for a gunship, I'd honestly rather have none.
  19. Yeah, a couple news agencies have been reporting on how Lego is such a good investment, so that may have something to do with it. Hopefully the bubble will burst soon, but I doubt it will ever go back to what it was
  20. Indiana Jones went from 76xx in January 2009 to 71xx in June 2009
  21. I'm happy for the people who wanted the purple clones, but isn't Mace's unit dark red?
  22. As a fan of avatar, those are totally valid criticisms. No reason to buy stuff you aren't interested in. I also think that the "evidence" for coconut being Indy instead of Avatar was flimsy at best, unless there was more than a reference to one objective in the video game, so the hate the avatar 2 stuff is getting is unwarranted.
  23. I'm not hugely familiar with Lego's set numbering system, but the two wave theory has been going around on this thread for a while, an April wave for Avatar 1 and a second October wave for 2. This is probably just wishful thinking, but I really liked the first movie and would love to have some sets from it.
  24. There is no way Lego will do Avatar D2C's until this theme proves itself, but I think Hometree or the ISV Venture Star would be great, one as a "MBS" style set and the other as a "UCS" style set Its a shame it seems the release was pushed to October, but it makes sense based off of the film's delays. It still (at least in theory) could be two waves, one in April and one in October as they are 6 months apart, but we'll find out pretty soon I guess
  25. legohio's 6th unconfirmed "leak" in the past 3 weeks...
