  1. Agreed, maybe 75334? The only problem is whether you will be able to fit both Boba and Jango in a "starship" sized Slave 1
  2. Lets hope it has just enough parts similarity to the 2013 one so I can "update" mine without too many extra parts
  3. As far as I can tell, Promobricks is a lot more reliable than say Mr. No, but this does sound like a wishlist
  4. Well, I can think of at least one... "Magnificent, aren't they?" - Obi Wan, Lama se, Taun We, and about 200,000 clone troopers
  5. It looks like Bib is being held in place on the throne by the "walls" around his legs, not any studs... I'm guessing there's an action feature to launch him out of the throne
  6. The box art and promo pics have a mistake where the torsos are backwards, but the actual production figs are correct, like the ones in JB Spielwaren's video. They are identical to the light cruiser fig.
  7. I think its a week after the final episode. Its a 7 episode series and ep. 6 releases tomorrow
  8. If you are pretty darn good at trigonometry, you could make the hull panels contribute a significant amount to the structure of the model. They are the furthest points from the centerline, so they would have the greatest impact / amount of plastic, much stronger than an internal technic frame could ever be. There are a couple of sacrifices that would have to be made however, such as the hull must be plate - built and have the wedge plates on the outside rather than down the centerline, but at that scale it probable wouldn't matter much anyway. This would turn a huge amount of dead weight into a weird shaped I beam that could make this somewhat buildable!
  9. At 3:40 you can see how moulds are taken out of the machine. It is a normal part of operation, and is still mostly manual, with a bit of assistance for the weight
  10. I don't know much about Lego's moulding machines, but I do know the moulds have to be periodically taken out and cleaned. Is it possible that a windshield mould was taken out for cleaning and a Vader mould was slipped in for a run or two? The clear plastic would already be flowing, so this "night shift" could theoretically pull it off unnoticed
  11. Just watched the Brickvault video on this model, all of the lights just take it to the next level!
  12. Well, other than the order 66 sequence, those 13 planets are just about all we see in the first 6 movies. Hopefully the OT and PT planets are more content-dense so it all balances out
  13. All we have that hasnt been revealed is a dark trooper "battle pack", Boba's palace, a mysterious $60 BOBF set, a couple dioramas, and a couple helmets
  14. Welp, the command station is already on backorder...
  15. not sure exactly which picture you are talking about, but I have seen a pic of a regular dark trooper to the left of the quarren
  16. If we do get a new mold for her I bet it'll be one of the soft rubbery hair pieces
  17. Ah, right back to the 1999 Falcon cockpit. The part is almost identical
  18. I currently have about $50 in Amazon gift cards, is there any way to convert those to use them on Lego.com or at a Lego store? I would really like to pick up some of the new minifig packs
  19. and the gunship is now out of stock. I guess that's a good sign for prequel UCS sets?
  20. 10129 Rebel Snowspeeder (UCS) released in September of 2003, and 4500 Rebel Snowspeeder released January 1 2004, so its not entirely unheard of
  21. apparently they were made up by projekt_408 on insta to prank his friends, he had to make a post explaining it lmao
  22. I want to see a new republic gunship, but I'm worried about the side bubble turrets. Unless they introduce some new mold, its just gonna be the same technique as the 2002 dropship, and I feel like it should be better than that. I like what they did with the UCS gunship, but the 6x6 domes have a noticeably longer "cylinder" section, which makes them too ovular, as well as the fact that the turrets on the UCS are far too delicate for a playset. As for an AT-TE, I would love to see a robust middle leg assembly that can hold the weight of the model, just so I can overhaul and improve my MOC dropship
  23. Has anyone else thought about combining Moff Gideon's Light Cruiser and 6x clone battle packs to make a republic Arquitens? You may not end up with quite enough dark red plates, but those quarter round slopes are perfect
  24. I think there is a 0% chance of a dropship this year, unfortunately. They would not be released separately and a combination would be $200+, which doesn't fit the leaked prices.
  25. yeah pretty much. I guess the sequence just didn't have as much of an impact on me than it did on other people
