  1. Why can't it be both? (Click for big)
  2. I guess this means I need to finish My expansion to Dr. Inferno's volcano. I wonder if he'll be back, or if we'll get a new villain or organization?
  3. I was totally on board (ship pun, ahoy!) for this set even at $200-$250... And then someone started the "Agents 2014" thread and now all my money's saved for that instead.
  4. Oh man, oh man, oh man! Agents is my theme, yo. Brought me all the way out of my Dark Ages and everything. I just expanded my current roster to 120, where will I put the new guys?
  5. I'm accidentally replying to something from over a page ago. Sorry.
  6. But wouldn't including him in a set negate the exclusivity of yours?
  7. This thread moves so fast! Someone pointed out that Wyldstyle is wearing a spacesuit in the CS set, so I'm wondering... Is that hood black? Sure doesn't look it. If it is Dark Blue I'll wet myself.
  8. LEGO Movie sets are licensed sets that LEGO is the license of so that LEGO can produce sets based on the LEGO Movie based on LEGO sets. Licensed. LEGO.
  9. One time I had a seller not send me an invoice for five days, and when I contacted them, they were very embarrassed as they had gone on holiday and forgot to "lock" their store. Fortunately they let me know what was going on, how long they'd be gone, and took care of everything when they got back.
  10. I could still stand it if 424 were added.
  11. I can confirm that the Overborg Attack came with 2 Green ones.
  12. Young Empires - Earth Plates Are Shifting NIVA - Boy From The Sun IAmAmIWhoAmI - To Whom It May Concern (B.O.U.N.T.Y.)
  13. They spin pretty well, but they'll be the first second (I already removed the arms from the mecha chair and attached them to Cyrus instead, oops) thing I axe from the rebuild
  14. Wow. Anyway, I picked up the Cyrus Borg set the other day, and while the vehicle build was a little disappointing and gimmicky, but I have to say I love the figures, and am really impressed with the attention to detail LEGO is bringing now.
  15. Not specifically, but the style is that of movie posters for horror or thriller movies from the 30s or 40s. Maybe the 40s version of Phantom of the Opera?
  16. I don't watch the show, so that's not what I was talking about. Sticker showed up on a set that is human versus robots and cyborgs. Anyway, I'm not really of the opinion that the two universes (or any LEGO universes) are officially linked. I figure it's just a designer having a bit of fun. Maybe the mechdragon was designed by someone who built a bunch of the Exo-Force stuff and it made them nostalgic.
  17. Mechs. Asian influence. Human heroes versus robotic villains. I'd say the two lines have a pretty good amount in common.
  18. There will probably be a Batman set because little kids love Batman.
  19. I agree with this, and the most prominent example I can think of is the hair from the Singapore ladies Park and Lian in that PotC game.
  20. I think some of the more clever decos on stickers or prints would allow then to work in some kind of signature. That would be neat.
  21. Man, I super don't want to make you mad here, but you've been pretty dismissive of any viewpoint that opposes this for a while now. It got a little tense in the rumor thread and I've been trying to figure out a way to point it out without getting rolled out of here for disagreeing with one of the popular kids, but I got nothing so here we are. You reference sources we aren't allowed to know about and constantly talk about how the CMF line is probably doomed because LEGO messed it up for you. I'm probably in trouble here, but all this hate for the new CMF direction is just frustrating to read.
  22. Scotch on the rocks?
  23. Found all the sets at a Wal-Mart today, but not for the super-cool prices you northerners got 'em for.
  24. Honestly, I'm more likely to quit the community than the hobby.
