  1. Cool! All that's missing is Speed Racer and The Flash!
  2. C'mon, Fatal Frame! They better make up for keeping that last one out of my hands.
  3. I'm not sure Sinclair is a better role-model than Sparks.
  4. This whole comment is a masterstroke!
  5. zmasterbrick's going to go through the roof on this one!
  6. According to the quiz, I'm one of those blue Technic Pins that has a pin on one side and an axle on the other. According to my builds, I'm a 1x3 Black Plate.
  7. Yeah, hey, I don't care about the video game and never (well, maybe just a while from now) would have seen it if you hadn't posted them. So, thank you.
  8. That is very much not the hairpiece I expected.
  9. I'm pretty excited for this, because it's pretty hard to mess up Mad Max. Part of me is terrified they will find a way, though.
  10. I've got a mis-molded black 1x8 plate that looks melted at one end, and I'm just dying to use it in something, but haven't found a fit yet.
  11. Well, they didn't really let it slide. I recall they fought tooth and nail to keep it, but their case was hurt by the fact that the didn't originally develop it.
  12. It becomes an issue of semantics. Does the 3D Printer impact LEGO's business? Not yet, but maybe if it becomes cheaper/faster/better. Are they relying too heavily on licences? Maybe, but a lot of the licenses they produce sets from are very lucrative for all parties involved, so I'd expect that not to stop. Are kids finding new ways to entertain themselves that didn't exist when we were kids? Undoubtedly, and that will never change, I think, but a lot of us did the same thing during our "Dark Ages". Will LEGO die eventually? Unavoidably, as all things must. Is LEGO dying right now or within the next 10 years? Not very likely, I think.
  13. Where's Gateway? Seriously, though, these are great, and that was my favorite era of X-Men.
  14. The bones to the right do not help dispel the idea he is a crazed killer, either.
  15. My own personal build-stuff loosely incorporates a lot of different themes in a lot of ways that would make story-purists of those themes mad, but will never be rigid enough to be considered a canon, as it needs to be fluid enough to incorporate new themes at my (or my son's) whims without a tear-down/rebuild. I've never been too sold on the idea that the LEGO themes are really all that connected, anyway. They're like the ideas books in old buckets: There if you need them, but you can probably do okay without.
  16. Space-Pants. 'S what Luke's wearing in the Bacta Tank.
  17. Those things are floppy as heck for me. Especially if they have anything of weight on them. Might just be me, though?
  18. I assure you, I have no idea. But when my notifier told me there were 11 new replies to this thread since the last time I read it, I got a little excited, because usually it's 2.
  19. That guy's pretty neat lookin'. Wonder what his head looks like under there.
  20. Lot of activity in this thread made me all excited something had been announced, and it's all just a bunch of Clutch Powers (!?) speculation.
  21. Top platform appears to be 16x16 studs? Maybe 16x20?
  22. I went a little nuts upgrading that set because I was a bit underwhelmed with its height, but I do like (even the out-of-the-box version of) it better than Anti-Matter's Hideout. I don't dislike it or anything, it just seems a little not-hidden.
  23. Acetylene torch? Guess they do a fair amount of branding, too?
  24. I'm probably done until Xenoblade X comes out. Might get Bayonetta, but while the action is appealing to me, the innuendo is a little bleh. On the fence about a Mega Man amiibo. Big fan of the Blue Bomber 20 years ago, haven't played anything since 2003.
