LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion
obsidianheart replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Didn't someone say that one of the figures has the wrong head? Could it be Audrey-3 there with the misplaced noggin? -
That new sword hilt on the Airjitzu packaging looks pretty MOCable.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 14 Rumors and Discussion
obsidianheart replied to Robert8's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I like 'em! I guess we're getting a New 52 Harley Quinn and '60s Julie Newmar Catwoman in the Super Heroes line at some point, too, judging from LEGO's mold-re-use propensity. -
You mean you're not supposed to incorporate launchers and flick-fires into your MOCs? Whoops.

Classic King (Series 13 Minifigure)
obsidianheart replied to AlphaQuad's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Probably no more of an indication of what's to come than the Series 3 Space Villain was an indication of a Blacktron revival (and there were a lot of disappointed spacers when that failed to materialize, if I remember). -
My son likes the trains, but not building them. His mother is not a LEGO fan, but the issue is complicated. My parents are uncomfortable with my continued interest in it. My friends are all awkward video game dudes. So: yes. And I kinda dislike it sometimes. One of my friend's step-sons is really into it, but he's gearing up for a Dark Age, it seems. Frowns all around.

Or, if you took App Bricks from 2 sets, and combined them into the configuration of a 3rd larger set, would the App figure it out? -
Does TLG filter negative reviews on S@H?
obsidianheart replied to jodawill's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Right, I get your complaint is the price. And I get that you wrote a review that disappeared. I was just wondering if you bought any baseplates at the new price directly from them. They might have erased the review because there was no Shop@Home purchase of the reviewed item linked to the account that you used to post the review. A few online stores will database check their posted customer reviews with the purchase history of the posting customer. If there is no match, they might not allow the review through due to the possibility that the customer's account has been hacked by a competitor or individual with a vendetta against the product (or even the customer themselves). I don't know what LEGO Shop@Home's policy is in regards to this, nor do I always agree with this practice, but it is a possible explanation. -

Did you buy a baseplate off of Shop@Home recently? I didn't see that part anywhere. -
The first time I saw this picture I laughed and laughed because of how much I could relate. And the next day I started sorting my stuff.

Hey, thanks! I have a few ideas now.

Listen, all I'm getting from this speculation is that we might get some cool trans-black weapons (Wishful thinking, that. They'll probably just be straight black). Anyway, speaking of wishful thinking, can one of you guys overseas who have a set with an Anananancondai (or whatever) Cultist in it tell me if this piece fits in the head with the skull helmet on?

Lego Ultra Agents 2015

New part can be seen in Brickset's database here. Looks like the line attaches to the front? I have mixed feelings about that. -
Oh. Kai's Lava Drifter, I guess.

No way, I think it's awesome! I put it on the part that way because it's great, accident or not! -

Hurricane Heist was the last set that I picked up, and I just started building it. Controls on the Mech kinda look like Darth Vader's helmet. -

Do you mix up your minifigs?
obsidianheart replied to mpfirnhaber's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I do this almost always. I store them in separate bins for Heads, Torsos, Legs, Headgear, Weapons and Shields, and Accessories, Utensils, and Body Wear. I have about 300 partially-built figures lying around, and most of them are mixed up. Except my LEGO Movie figs, and an unaltered set of Monster Fighter figs. EDIT: I guess I have an unaltered set of most of the original Agents, too. But not Dr. Inferno or Clawdette. They got parts added later. -

I don't understand what you're saying here. It seems like you're saying "Don't expect 3 more sets because the rumored ones follow a sequential numerical order picking up from where the last one left off," and I don't follow your reasoning. Please clarify?
