  1. That's pretty neat. That's pretty neat.
  2. What's the Dark Tan look like on the helicarrier head?
  3. Guess I'm gonna have to buy some Ninjago stuff soon.
  4. Not as big a deal as a lot of you have had to deal with, but I need to vent: Okay, so. I ordered a bunch of Power Functions train parts back in April, and the Rechargeable Battery was out of stock (You can see me whining about not being able to add the IR Receiver 7 posts up from here. Eventually I found a way to add it to my cart by clicking through 37 pages of "Recommended for 16+" categorization). Anyway, they sent me all the stuff except for the Battery, and the website said it would ship May 4th. May 3rd rolls around, and I get an eMail that the date has slipped to May 14th for shipping the Battery. My son's birthday (which the part is for) is on the 20th, so I'm like "Cutting it close, but okay". The 14th hits, and I check the website first thing in the morning. Site says they have Batteries in stock, and lo, my order is listed as "In the Warehouse". I expect it will ship later that day and head off to work, expecting I'll probably have a shipping confirmation eMail when I get home. I get home from work, and no eMail. Site still lists my order as "In the Warehouse", but now the Batteries are sold out again. Okay, fine. I call the Customer Service line because I am paranoid as heck. The automated line does not recognize my order number, so I talk to a very friendly representative who tells me that although he doesn't know why the order hasn't shipped, he's sure it will either later that day or early on the next day. But it hasn't. It's still just sitting "In the Warehouse". I have a sinking feeling that because part of that order was already shipped and received, the automated system doesn't know what to do. And I damn sure don't expect it in time for the boy's birthday train. But thanks to this thread, I half expect the order status to change to "Cancelled" any time now.
  5. I love the original Agents line, and find its color scheme a little more fun. I think the original Agents Mobile HQ is the better set, but I am glad that this set is a cabable and competent successor. This set is fantastic, and packs the play features in! It also features a great vehicle-mode without getting too similar to the build of the original Agents HQ. I have them parked near one another, and was indeed considering rebuilding this set in the original Agents color scheme, but it turns out that those Technic panels in Dark Blue are pretty costly. Also, I enjoy that this set comes with a mech for Terrabyte to stop around in, rather than GoldTooth's minijet from the 2008 set.
  6. I'm not a huge fan of how involved some of the non-licensed themes' stories are nowadays.
  7. I could use a few more black parts.
  8. I have never seen one of those SI-DAN Watches actually on a minifig, but have always been curious what it looks like. Anyone have a good picture?
  9. The original Agents theme.
  10. I was actually convinced someone would bring up Technic before CCBS.
  11. All sets are rehashes of interlocking brick design. Why don't they do something new?
  12. Pretty great! Love that landscape.
  13. Why's it called a Walker?
  14. They'll end it next year and 2017 will be the reboot (or would that be re-reboot, since there was a Rebooted already?). I'm kidding, I don't think that will happen.
  15. I have wondered this for a while now, too. Though they do not seem excessively versatile, I think it's strange that we haven't seen them on, like, a Basketball Player (like that one form the fake CMF Series a couple of years ago) or a Circus Stilt-walker, or aTreant (Groot would have been more to scale as a minifig with them), or something.
  16. That's awesome! Great build!
  17. I can't remember if that's BrickTW or old Arealight. Sorry, I'm not much help.
  18. I built snowmobiles out of mine.
  19. I've been staying out of the Dimensions discussion because it doesn't interest me, but this seems like a silly complaint. I'm sure Dimensions will eventually delve into a wave of nothing but exclusive print-figures (even if it's only one piece), but to get the boat off the ground, it's probably best to present familiar, recognizable figs to the target audience. Also, you could just sell, trade, or donate the duplicates, so whatever. But then you're left with a base that you have to go dig your Kai (or whoever!) out of the back of your display cabinet or whatever if you don't want the Dimensions setup to look barren.
  20. Tried to order some Power Functions parts just now. Rechargeable Battery Box is marked "Out of Stock: Will Ship April 23" which in my experience means that date will get pushed back at least 2 months one day at a time as it approaches it's stated Ship Date. Also, it would not add the IR Receiver to my cart, and when I clicked through to the product page, it brought up a blank site page with nothing but the header and footer. Irritating. I've shot them an eMail, but my hopes of being able to actually order the IR Receiver are low. It's all very frustrating.
  21. While, on the one hand, this sounds like an easy way to fix the things people want, I could see it turning into a nightmare of patches and competing community-implemented design ideas and implementation architectures.
  22. That's really cool!
  23. Even though I'm sure this is a joke, I get all when I think about how much it sucks that Disney doesn't have the Ghibli licence any more for these kinds of figure releases. EDIT: I'm dumb and forgot that they wouldn't be able to do that anyway since they only have Ghibli rights in 'Murrica.
  24. Been trying to cash in my Club Nintendo rewards since they updated the Platinum rewards yesterday, but the site sucks so much right now I can't stay logged in long enough to order any download codes.
