  1. Very nice moc! I love the detailed facades The wooden shop fronts look so good and the facades are packed with details without being overwhelming. The slight angle makes the whole scene even more attractive to the eye. The colors are pefect! I only feel that the maps in front of the shop take away from the composition color wise.
  2. Wow, what a fighter! I love the engines, clean and sleek on the front and nice greebling on the back! And the Krayt paint scheme on the snout looks great! And fun
  3. Very nice crew! I like the color consistency and especially Vi Moradi's torso is one of my favorites
  4. Slovenia may be small, but you have Primož and Pogi Just kidding, i am a cycling fan! Welcome to the forum @Kado Have fun and enjoy your stay!
  5. Such a hugh landscape is certainly a project for years. I often build my mocs on MILS plates, not because it is needed but because i like the system. An soon the brick boxes will be half empty because so many bricks went into the underground construction
  6. What a great story! I guess it was one of these display windows where kids would press their nose against the window to get a better view of what's going on inside And a Lego train makes everything even better!
  7. Oh yes, the finished moc looks wondeful Great rockwork! I love that cozy spit of sand on the back.
  8. Ok, so here's what i come up with. I used Luke's and Ron Weasley's hair because i have so many of these I also tried Owen Grady's hair but that didn't work out. Then i tried some other hats but that didn't work out too. You need a hat with a flat underside that also covers all of the hair. Maybe it is possible to use the bicorne if you sand the hair piece with angles, so it matches the underside of the bicorne. Guess i will order some disposable hair pieces and try it with a bicorne in the future. These two i'll keep
  9. I really like the green and white shirt torsos. Hope they'll mysteriously show up at PAB online like some other licensed minifigs
  10. The zombie pirate's torso and legs are so good! Hope we also get something pirate related with next years CMF. Fingers crossed! I guess the rat also belongs into the kitchen, one way or another My favorite minifig is the one on the far left. The bandana work great with that face and torso!
  11. Four times in two months I would have voted for Islanders but i fear Lego would make them yellow again. If it is possible to have indigenous warriors like the Hovitos warrior from Indiana Jones, Islanders should also be possible in a sensible way. Wow, that must have been epic! I don't remember anyone bringing a Lego ship or set to a friend's house. Probably our parents were afraid of mixing parts I'm sorry, it's too late to add more options to the poll, but maybe in the future we can have a poll about subfactions like the one you mentioned. Or maybe factions that people would like to see released under the umbrella of Lego Pirates. For now Revolutionary soldiers have to be sorted under "other".
  12. What does a change of eras mean in general? Will the world (map) be the same? Will all cities still exist in era III. Will the same factions and NPC nations and their political affiliations still exist? What about a player's treasury and properties?
  13. I like the guy on the far right the most
  14. Lego Online says there are 15 minifigs in the Rivendell set, so the grey statue minifigs are not counted. Brickset says there are 21 minifigs, so there they are counted.
  15. I guess the possibilities are endless... zombie pirates and such I don't know/remember if any of the minfigs from official sets were marked as civilian or neutral. I don't even remember how i treated them as a kid. And due to my very long and very dark ages i am not the most knowledgeable anyways I guess as a child i was more into pirates versus imperials. Nowadays i have more interest in the life of the ordinary civilians. Of course if i were to build a fortress in the future there need to be some sort of soldiers. Bluecoats i guess, because they are PAB. Or maybe i'll find a good torso. I tried the green torso from the Boutique Hotel employees for greencoats but was not happy with the result.
  16. Great! Will try it tomorrow if i can find some sand paper
  17. I really like these! Definitely have to try it myself. Did you glue the sanded hair pieces to the tricorns?
  18. "Other" means civilians, merchants or like you said, POTC factions, or anything that might not fit into the other categories. Or maybe people have created their own factions. If so, please let us know! I voted "other" because personally i am most interested in civilians (although i understand civilians could also be part of the bluecoats for example). Haha yeah, i slapped that together in Photoshop. The background is a historic map of Port Royal. Noted!
  19. Ahoy me mates, captains, swashbucklers and pirate ladies! (This is a rhyme and that parrot has rabies.) Come closer, take a seat, and let me ask you a question. Which one is your favorite Lego Pirates faction? Is it red or blue or none of that? Feel free to express yourself in the chat! With chat i mean comments and now cast your vote! Oh, Lego, do you hear us? We need a yellowcoat!
  20. True! I must admit, personally i am not so much a fan of this water technique, althout it is often used to great effect, and in this case it works really well with the blood and water mix! But man, i can't take my eyes of those beautiful reefed sails! I think they look so good because they are not plain but build in 3D
  21. Nice little story! I am still a bit shocked that none builds all the sets (BOBB, Eldorado, GWPs) on tiled water MILS plates for an modular layout. I'd do it, but i don't have any of the sets
  22. Quite an impressive world you are building! And you are putting a lot of thought into the vehicles. My favorite so far is the small off road truck (the one that carries the motorbike. Do you also plan to build some kind of landscape? I read you build a digital home base for the vehicles?
  23. Great crew! My favorites are short Shrimpy and the butcher. And the doc who has this distinct squinting eyes
  24. The inkwell (learned a new word ) looks good. The admiral is a nice man, supplying such comfortable beds to his men
