Thats my main issue with LEGO - they are unaware of having themselves limited in so many ways with propably having external consulting agencies as a consequence, who will just tell them "redo the same things with minor changes which worked before in regard of sales" - result is: we see the same (more or less technically boring) sets being released. They need to understand that they need to open their minds instead of following the next bs advise from the consultants, which also probably will be "ah yeah your boring sets are not selling anymore?! Ask the community to give impressions what is really possible with your product" (them knowing the limited capabilities of the LEGO management understand their wrong decisions which they took in the first place). But I better 🤐 now..

@Aaronc1901 There are some people doing custom rim 3D prints - for treads I don't know any person doing so - except Zerobricks within this thread here.. :) For the rims, some name droppings - you may reach them via facebook Eugen Teledezki Stefan Königer ("Customparts 3D print" page) Andreas Summer I can give exact fb profile links, but would like to do so in a pm, as I am not sure about linking here is acceptable

For reference - Issue here right now is missing support from Buwizz for the angular motor to be used as a servo. The Mk1 Version had no pushrods, but was working with rubberbands to allow the frontfork to be somehow free but allow some counter-steering approach - but I had the feeling the rubbers were too soft.. Except of that the drivedrain with the doubleshafts is working out and no melting parts yet (only ABS parts, no special ballbeared thingies) Here is the failrun of Mk1:

This will be for you... MTP's parts allow better performance with non-melting parts due to the ballbeared parts... but as they only have a 5L liftarm ballbeared at the mid, you may also take a look at https://tf-engineering.at/flangebearing/ -
Take it easy - even more if currently considered in vacation! Enjoy and keep us out of your thoughts and enjoy the days!! More transparency in communication would be appreciated - but 2-3 weeks more or less won't hurt by now... Edit: on the other hand... Taken from their most recent advertisment: 😤🤬

@HectorMB and I put our phrase discussion into a pm conversation to not bloat further here.. Just to show of some efforts, for example communication via email: Initial mail from beginning of April 2022: Zero replied and was so kind to move the ticket to his colleague. Second attempt to get an update via follow up mail in August 2022: Final answer was "no date for final implementation know" for the feature request of Failsafe, only "high priority for us". No follow up since then. Also multiple attempts to get replied from their fb account via pm or via commenting on plenty of their posts (and their reposts in the Buwizz fb Usergroup, they are admin of) where I asked in a mannered way with no reaction at all... If they can't effort software development while doing advertisments with super sport car manufacturerers, it is fine to me, but please clearly state the "no support can be expected" 😅 To give it some positive vibe: For me a list of the currently open bugs and requested / announced features isn't communicated in a clear way - here we cloud gather as a community and sort the things out, describing them correctly and then handing them over to the Support (maybe Zero could help out, but seeing this as optionally happning). Would it be benefitial to maybe an idea to think about creating a subforum for RC-related stuff, to be able to have bugs/features curated by some mod for keeping a good format of the cases etc for future use and give the community to better identify the already known topics? *Disclaimer: For respecting privacy reasons I won't give out any direct replies from the other side, also replaced Zeros name with his nick in the mail content, FYI

I am open for better terms which would fit to: "Not given any service which was offered proactivly by the vendor and then going silent for over 1 year already with just giving the feedback 'give us more time' via email requests with no real progress visible for the single user nor us as their customers". I am very sorry that it may be interpreted as a very harsh term - but I am doing it intentionally, because they have to make sure for themselves: The Kickstarter period is over since a long time, they are a regular company which should be interested in future customers. If they are not, all their advertisment campaign are missleading people into buying their products with maybe wrong expectations - if it wouldn"t be advertised in relation with "fastest brick" terms, I would be fine for indoor use - but also by their advertisment the impression is given that you can use those outdoors. And then we hit again the topics of the hardware range specs still being stated as way more than the real deal, even under best conditions (tested plenty of locations, all nearly the same results).

As I am using the term scam without hesitations lately: At least I am clarifing that I am speaking of the poor software support and no communication at all - but stating that the hardware is working as should. It is nice to now get a little update by now, that the app updates are "around the corner" - BUT Fortronik, aka Roni as the CEO needs to understand: This leftout communication of any status-update cost the Buwizz brand product already plenty of reputation Further: You think anyone will be satisfied with one little update which may bring some of the announced features or not, or if we are now already upset and will have a close look over the next month to see if its was an accidental one-timer or if the knot is now released and we can get regular updates again?! We are living in 2023 and as you are the small company which delivers a product which customers kind of asked for (kickstarter campaign) and accepting it very well till now, never thought about the community being so forgiving for the vendor, that even if an status-update would tell "will need very long for us to bring the next, because plenty of taks to hassle and getting IT personal is hard these days" it would be ok and we could understand? Not really understanding how since its one year annual of the 18th Feb '22 post, this could happen inbetween: If I would want to be sarcastic I would state something like: "If someone wants to know how much Fortronik cares about the complaints I gave to every single FB post of theirs since Dec'22 till the latest posts? 4 more BS PR-posts it seems..." 😅 Edit: Btw did Roni ever thought about someone in the community being so pissed and just creating a competitor for Buwizz and - in the worst case for Fortronik - it becoming the new "gold standard" of RC components? I heard is not so easy anymore, if a company has to share a market... So keeping his current customers happy would be benefitial for Fortroniks future too... Edit2: Maybe it won't be benefitial for RacingBricks, Sariel, (or even Zero) to considerate cooperating with Buwizz furthermore because of maybe hurting their own reputation to a certain point if they would go on.

But you have still mentioned him in this very thread, I personally find that already too much for "you not asking him about official ansers or support" - why mentioning then? I would reconsider at least.. Anyways: What shall he say as an employee who wants to get his next salery? It is the issue of the only the company Fortronik - so the CEO's - not one of their workers issue.

@JaBaCaDaBra May have been the case in the past, latest information I have: He doesn't want to be messaged with Buwizz related things, as he clearly stated its his private account. For the subject of the app development, he already helped out with stating, that he pointed the issues and concerns from us here to his colleagues several times and gave me the recommendation to try mails again (which I did and wasn't helpful). He is giving the best support he can as a single employee of the company and being not the CEO. (btw Roni Leben is the CEO of Fortronik d.o.o. - he is responsible for decisions for the company). Maybe Zero is as embarrased as we are, maybe even a little more, as more and more people are complaining at him without him being able to do a thing against it... He is just a regular employee.

@Jim as we are having clear rules in the forums, one thing to ask: Is Buwizz a LEGO product, or why is their brandname within the topics title? Isn't this already advertisment for somehow cheating to convince users, it would be officially supported by LEGO? As far as I know Fortronik (company behind Buwizz) already had to change their product boxes and remove all the LEGO brand names, which they put on they product-boxes in the first place.. "BuWizz - High Performanc LEGO Power Functions Controller and Battery" 1. No LEGO product 2. It may be theoretically fastly driving models - only it is no benefit if your model is going out of control / range after 20-25 meters already 3. With mine there wasn't any controller included - even Bluetooth Controllers arent working yet to be implemented... So shouldn't it be "BuWizz - (Alternative Brand) Battery" - and nothing of the other wrong claims?
