  1. No further updates from the vendor, but I reckon they also would like to enjoy their weekends.. What I found the Rebuild of the SearchIndex did fix: I found some member profiles which were showing nothing in the "All Activities" part - those are showing correctly now.

  3. I just let the search index be rebuild from scratch & that finished a minute ago. I would like to ask to check if that made some positive changes.

  6. yep, I did reset them already, thanks for the feedback of that not making any difference. I will create the ticcket at the vendor this weekend.
  7. I considered to go with another option to reset all the "Streams" (Unread Content, Content I posted in, etc pp) to the default settings, as the system allows that. Consideration is: We are using them anyways in the default configuration - if they are in some bugged state, my hope is resetting them to the be loaded as fresh default entries may allow having an effect already. I would wait till the next 1-2 days to see if it is still reported as broken before I would create a ticket at the vendor. Little addition here for the different Streams for their default values: Unread Content -- "Since last visit" Content I Started -- "Any time" Content I Follow -- "Any time" Members I Follow -- "Any time" Content I Posted In -- "Any time" So besides the "Unread" content the streams should show all old history items without any date limitation - users can change the options separately (I believe) and save them as new custom streams. This shall be considered the default behavior I just verified.

For me it shall never be about "nothing to hide" as this may be used by some parties to claim others may have to hide things - for me it is always principles of privacy which need to be respected as the bottom line towards any individual. There shall theoretically never be any need for one to explain against (and for) it.
  9. Thanks already for volunteering @idlemarvel. Nothing to do from your side - I just want to have some preemptive agreement for any user to secure as much privacy and data security for all of us - even against the vendor in troubleshooting reasons. For myself I consider this thr baseline of my job / profession of allowing as much service to every user, like I would fight for my own rights. Be always be assured of that please.

Little update on the topic: With the help of @MKJoshA & the other examples here we think we have somehow narrowed it down already, from @MKJoshAs observation only posts from beginning 2016 onwards are not showing for his account. It has been mentioned before by @Black Falcon via another post from another user quoted. @JLiu15 one of your observations has been mentioned, I did not find the original of yours within your thread - I would like you and the other people affectedf to help checking if your accounts are showing 2025 entries still, but none since beginning of 2026 - that would be helpful for having more than one account with this symptoms. I am planning to create a ticket at the vendors support site the next days, as we have now enough similarities to show them our issues. Other question I may have already.. As I am personally a big fan of data privacy and bein transparent before any action takes place: The vendor may ask for access to our systems for their investigations, if needed. If someone can think of their support (again, at worst if needed) login in with some user accounts to check the symptoms and possible other details "from the user perspective". If anybody can think of allowing this for his account, some written reply here in the thread would be nice for having more than one singular opportunity (@MKJoshAs profile, as he volunteered here already - role model as always, thanks in advance already ). Hopefully they may tell a simple fix like "may it be you are just stupid, as you have overlooked that one place in the configs which does the trick?!" -> Would be the solution I prefer as no big fixes would be needed. I will give another update the next days.

  15. As you may have recognized I did not apply my fixture yet - instead I think I fully understand the source of the issue & reported my findings to the vendor. My hopes are they can verify my findings and deliver us a vendor-verified way of fixing this. I personally prefer this as the best solution, as any non-vendor-approved one may create us unknown issues in the future at worst (true for all IT issues, believe my professional expertise ).
  16. Next update of this night: Did my QC and think my fix will be fine, but as it is 1 AM already, I will leave it for today I will have another fresh QC review over everything to not have forgotten some important thought and then finally apply by tomorrow.
  17. Next days update: I still need to do some quality control to my found solution, working on that now When I got confident enough I may later on in the night add my fix - I may not need any maintenance downtime for that. Will hand in another update later this evening.

Hehe Toastie, thanks again - but I was working with too much assumptions of "worked before, shall work fine" - so by own meassurement of "quality delivered" or not, I can clearly see improvements for the next time. And believe me please, I am not mad at myself - it seems only I took over plenty of the attitude of my grandmother, she always was honest in all regards and put herself behind any truth. I learned that value-system is the right one for me. I am totally ok to make mistakes every day (as long as it may be new mistakes but not the same over and over again) - how should I learn new things otherwise?! btw why do we Germans - known for our wonderful very unique & overcomplicated word creations - exceptionally only have one Word "Verantwortung" when in the English language has two different ones with different meanings to offer?!

Next update: The issue is reproducible in our test environment I found a manual fix, but am not yet applying this as need want to wait for @Jims opinion / last word for applying this In consequence I may ask to give us another day, until we can bring them back. The planned work is hereby canceled for tonight. Next update can be expected latest tomorrow early evening.
  23. Hello, here comes the next update: Unfortunately the vendor told us this case is new to them and they can currently not assure a working solution. We have still some idea of what may work to revert the status to the former state - but this is untested from the vendor. Before I will start with any work I need to do some more quality messurements for assuring us ways back into working states for cases things going south. So I would like to inform the community already: We have planned to work on the issue tonight to hopefully solve it with our fix. So please expect partial short outages of the forum later in the evening. *canceled I will update the announcement message shortly before I start working on the topic, so you should get awareness of the moment. Sorry for the inconveniences again from my side!

  25. @Lipko not sure if I understood you correct. I am open for any opinion, so I would like to ask & possibly give you my answers already: Did you got the impression we would stop there and not further put efforts into the topic? I would like to answer that that is not the case. In the other topic for thr case I mentioned I created a support case for the vendor to help us out, please be assured I am not happy with the situation right now & after my regular work I will activly work on here. I am sorry if thr announcement was possibly not allowing to understand thst the issue is considered serious & urgent as well. As said I am open for any advises for what would have helped, for doing better in the future. Please don't hesitate to speak freely if something did bug you - your opinion is considered always valid and worth to be heard. Best regards
