  1. There is no zip file, the quoted link in my post is to a Studio .io file
  2. Actually no need to find mine, the link here is still working. When I built mine the wheels and the seat were colour issues, use Dark Blueish Grey wheels (mostly hidden under the hubcaps anyway) and either red or black versions of the seat. The large dishes you can use either hollow or solid stud variants so use the cheaper! I made waterslide transfers for the "Ferguson" print which has worked fine
  3. I'm pretty sure I have them somewhere since I built it in Light Grey and in Red. Both look spectacular. I'll have a hunt round shortly
  4. Placed as flat to the wall as possible as a joined together build it is 32cm deep and 75cm wide. Tallest point is 40cm. Is general opinion still for a June 1st release date?
  5. If you can make it along to STEAM in October there's one in the Art Gallery - on Facebook or (I don't do IG so can't link direct) or at https://www.instagram.com/brickishuklug/ or
  6. Personally I think it unlikely. Much as we love animals, the primary aim of Lego is to play. It is much easier to play with an animal in a movement pose than a stationary one.
  7. 27925 has the same interior curvature doesn't it?
  8. It's yet another new part variant of the hinge plates and not treated as different by Bricklink. Buy used as there's probably not too many of the new type become used yet?
  9. I tend to use CPC (https://cpc.farnell.com/c/tools-maintenance/storage) - I prefer to use compartment boxes and they've always had consistency and availability of my preferred sizes. They do pretty much any style you can think of and free delivery (over Β£20) too.
  10. Keeping to simple parts you could try: Left image showing part usage. It's pretty sturdy and has room down the centre for a spine/cables/reinforcing the sides
  11. Posted them yesterday morning, they should be with you soon They come courtesy of a #4564 that wasn't intact enough to consider rebuilding Is the cab completely clear or is the motor hiding inside it? If clear then that is seriously compact, either way still a cracking build :-)
  12. Nah it is dual. White core and orange shell. The feet are clearly print only.
  13. It's probably just as simple as manufacturers knowing that there is a wide range and availability of 3rd party components using PF connections and only a limited range using PU. Why target a smaller market? I thought I'd heard rumours that PU was for the chop soon anyway in favour of the next generation.
  14. Pretty much no seller will ever consider that 4073 and 85861 are interchangeable. They're different parts. Same for 3673 and 2780, no-one would consider them variants because they are different parts. 4459 if someone has listed it then generally they know it's an old tight pin, probably because they had to pry it out of an old technic brick in the first place with copious swearing. BL is perhaps being a little over keen on what it considers a variant here (although for 4073 it comes under "This Item is similar in shape to the following Item(s):" so it isn't saying they're variants at all.) Now parts like 4085 for instance you're more likely to run into issues with because they are the same part but with moderately different moulds; a b c etc and not everyone has experience enough to pick the correct variant.
  15. Absolutely safe yes
  16. Maybe try googling it first. Big Ben Bricks
  17. Monorail, Emerald Night, Black Seas Barracuda, Metroliner
  18. The stickers are not from Lego. Note how the sticker crosses onto the torso, even when they did torso stickers that wasn't done.
  19. You're missing the point. Making the tolerances less strict on larger plates makes every single point of connection on that plate less "clutchy" - take a look at 40561 for Lego putting 1x1 curved tiles onto each and every stud on multiple plates. Now those ΒΌ circle tiles don't even fully encompass the stud, if they made the plates (6x6 in this instance) with 75% clutch then tiles would be falling off everywhere. The tolerances have to be of the same standard for every connection (stud/antistud/bar/hole/pin etc) otherwise there is no logic at all in having a connection there.
  20. But nothing says that every connection is used together to connect to the next part. Say you put a grid of 1x1 plates on your theoretical 2x8 with 75% clutch and half of them just fall off. That 75% vs 98% becomes very significant.
  21. One of the best of the classic Disney movies IMDB entry
  22. That's a tap #4599 inserted into a lightsaber #64567 then on a bar of unknown length. You could also use #87618
  23. Looks like Tente wheel shapes, what does it say on the stud? Any markings on the wheel section as wondering if the Tente wheels can fit the Lego axles. My Tente is in the loft else I'd experiment
  24. I've just had a rummage and all I've come up with is that one of the interior quadrants will have a (C) symbol and the opposite a number, presumably the mould location. They're not genuine Lego. Maybe the same place the rifles and sashes came from?
