    If we are going to wish, let's do it royale! Don't get me wrong. The new 10497 Galaxy Explorer (1200 pieces) is a great set, but if we compare it with the Lion´s castle (4500 pieces) throwback, it feels short. Many Space fans miss the landing pad or the small base the original had. Why not including extra features like a small blacktron spy vehicle? What about a raising landing platform? Something that shocks us down to our belly just like the old 80s sets used to do! So what´s my point? If Lego is going to bring back another great space set, why not a bigger, beafier, better version of the old one?

    Yes, basically this color scheme coexisted most of the Classic Space era along with the blue/gray/trans yellow and the gray/black/trans green. Then turned into Futuron and had reboots on Exploriens and Space Police III The group is to share any build with these primary three colors in it.

    Greetings here is a new Lego space group on Facebook, Lego Space Futuron/Exploriens/SP3 This group doesn't focus only on Futuron space sub theme, but on any space creation using primary White, Black and trans dark blue color pieces mainly.     It could be, yes. Thanks! Part of the function is to move the front tip up and down and use it to drill on rock walls. Yes, I tried to update that Lego Space feature of the late 80s. Thanks! Originally was a wall for the drill rover to work in, but I change it. It was a last minute add on.

    Another Classic Space Lego Ideas project. This time is White Classic Space/Futuron Color Scheme. Kappa Notch Complex is a Space Base nestled between mountains, It´s composed of several modules or rooms connected internaly by corridors dug into the rocky mountains around a large rocket silo housing a two stage rocket designed to take a satelite into orbit in new colonizing planets. Lab, telecommunications, control panel, infirmary are among the fuctions of the modular rooms of the base. It also features a vehicle hangar and landing pad among the features of the base. NOTE: I updated the base by adding a Space Police rover and Blacktron speeder. The upgrades will be added to Lego Ideas in a month.     Anyone here has found a safe way to create transparent green color Lego pieces out of Trans clear pieces? Just like the Turmeric technique to create trans yellow pieces.

    Small baseplate challenge: Build anything Classic Space realated using either 16 x 16 or 8 x 16 baseplates. A small base for two astronauts. Includes airlock door, 2 seats one bed, tool rack, comunication dish, probe launcher and a small rover. Around 330 pieces. All Classic Space pieces except the two 8 x 16 baseplates.

    Great design! It remanids me of the Alpha and Beta fighters. So 80s so cool! Lego Group needs to start listening to AFLOs, After all, we are their most faithfull costumers.
