  1. This looks very nice! I do have one or two issues with it. First off, the wheels seem to be stuck out too far from the rims for my liking. That's probably my personal preference, though. Also, something seems off to me at the front. Maybe it's the two studs exposed there, but it seems like there could be room for improvement. I do love everything else about it, don't get me wrong. The back looks very nice and smooth. The wings/fins on the sides look very nice as well, as does the drivers seat area.
  2. I'm a bit surprised they're making a second wave of these, but it shouldn't be too hard to get another series out of them. Even with four or five repeat figures, we could still get Skinner, Moe, Lenny, Carl, Smithers, Edna, Willie, Sideshow Bob, Comic Book Guy, Reverend Lovejoy, and Martin. Definitely looking forward to this!
  3. I thought that too, but I looked at my official SDCC one and that's what it does look like, strangely. Looks like you've got all of it very accurate! The only thing I can't tell if you have is the interior, which isn't that complicated. Also, I think I see it, but is there the 6x12 Plate on the bottom? It doesn't really affect the model itself, but it should be there if you're going for complete accuracy.
  4. Not really. We get a Bat Sub, a Manta Sub, and a little scenery for Robin to be stuck too. $45 gives us good looking subs that aren't just thrown in for parts, something Superheroes need to learn how to do
  5. Right, but as I thought, those were predictions from before we had full info on all the sets. The Manta Sub and Grodd attack make sense for being around the same price (at least to me).
  6. Really? That gives me a lot of hope for the Manta set now. Grodd will probably be higher in pricing due to all the figures, so we could really get a very nice Manta sub.
  7. Now thinking about it you're right (at least for DC. The Spider copter comes to mind with 3 figs and a bigfig). That's really odd, seeing how other themes use four figures a lot in their sets.
  8. I thought someone had posted estimated prices for all of them, but I don't remember any official prices. Surely the Grodd set will have to be more than $30 with two extra figures.
  9. Honestly, I didn't think this wave could get better. Captain Cold makes the Grodd set an absolute first day buy for me (though now with 5 figs and bigfig it seems to be getting expensive), and the possibility that we're getting a fifth Brainiac set is really exciting. Frankly I have no idea who this figure in the Javelin is. Perhaps Agent Grayson? I think if they were to add another GL to the wave they'd use John Stewart or Guy Gardner before Kyle Rayner.
  10. "May want to heal yourself there, Eric. Have your lady friend attack from the back, too," Althior takes a Grand Potion from the Back Row Walbartan heals herself from the Back Row. Hodurr swings his axe at the Clay Golem from the Front Row. Battle Order: Sarge Hodurr Eric Periwinkle Walbartan Althior Nur
  11. He's on for Avengers 3 I know. Feige has also said concerning RDJ that's it's not a matter of if they recast Iron Man it's when. Hawkeye needs to have proper screentime before he dies. Avengers Hawkeye was not the proper characterization of witty, funny Clint Barton.
  12. I'd have to see what the mech looks like before I judge. The sub seems fine, though I'd prefer another Scuba Batman instead for a bigger Manta sub.
  13. I'm doubting Cap right now seeing as how much of a success he had with TWS. His contract expires after Avengers 3 I think, so they could kill him off then and use Sebastian Stan as Cap (seeing as he has a 9 picture deal signed with Marvel).
  14. Nice Review! I always thought that the Dragster was just okay, but for some reason I do really like the Batmobile in this. Perhaps it's because it's the one most akin to the New 52 appearance. I never actually knew what that little ball was for on the back of the Dragster. Consider me enlightened.
  15. Yup. Especially since (supposedly) the Bat Mech is supposedly three big figs tall, meaning that her jet is basically just used to get the piece count up up to the right price range. Again, though. Better than nothing (though I surely am complaining about it a lot ).
  16. As much as I'd like to believe that, I'm not sure if we will get her. I wouldn't be surprised if we got her (in fact I do expect it), but this year all we got was an Ahsoka reissue and Hera for female figures. Just look at the new waves of sets. Hobbit is getting one and the new DC Super Heroes line is getting one. TLG seems to be, unfortunately, cutting back on female figs in their big licenses now for some reason.
  17. Very nice review! I managed to get not one, but two of these as gifts when they came out, which definitely makes the set look better IMO. The design of the set on its own isn't perfect, but is probably one of the better sets out there for this price range.
  18. All true. I guess a supporting WW is better than none at all, though. Perhaps if she proves to be successful in BvS or a solo Wonder Woman film we can get a decent set with her as the star.
  19. Cheetah hasn't been that big in New 52 either if memory serves correctly. I know she made an appearance or two in Justice League, but I don't recall her showing up since then (though she may have been in one of the eight thousand Forever Evil issues). Though I wish she were included, I guess I can see why Cheetah isn't in any of the sets.
  20. 13'6" maybe? (7+20=27/2=13.5) I don't think many of us have really thought too far into it, so you can make it as you see fit.
  21. Surtur is basically the destroyer of Asgard in the comics (I think he's like Satan in Norse Mythology, but don't hold me to that).
  22. I think Whedon said he wanted someone to die so the stakes seem real. I certainly hope not. People dying but coming back to life has gotten old in these films. I'd put my money on one of the new guys (I honestly wouldn't be surprised if one of the twins died or if Vision did).
  23. Althior uses Darkness on the Iron Golem from the Back Row Walbartan attempts to heal Hodurr from the Back Row Hodurr uses a Nostrum on Walbartan from the Back Row Eric repeats his action Periwinkle repeats her action Battle Order: Eric Sarge Althior Nur Hodurr Walbartan Periwinkle
  24. As far as we know, Pepper isn't in AoU (though I'd have no problem with her dying seeing as how I hated her in IM3...) Though if Jeremy Renner's in Captain America 3, I may cry. Personally, I like the new Hawkeye costume. It's not the most accurate to the comics, but I think it looks pretty badass. That shot makes it look a bit awkward, but I'm sure it'll be better in the final product.
  25. Nice Review! I think this easily the best representation of Unikitty, IMO, with the glistening huge eyes. I won't be tracking this one down seeing as I can have a similar one for cheaper from the Cloud Cuckoo Land set, but this is still a very nice print to have.
