True. We'll probably get some form of bonus fig or polybag with the Blu-Ray when it comes out (though probably not Bolg, like you said).

"Might as well. We don't really have many more options," -
Mockingbird cast on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D Here's hoping we can get some more Hawkeye then. Probably just wishful thinking.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion

I know, but the line still had an ugly looking Mandarin. I don't think AoU will suffer from the concept art thing like IM3 did, though. -
Thanos is a bit big, but his gauntlet looks nice. I love Groot, though.

Iron Man 3 was a big movie... -
Usually they release the annual Winter Village set in October so you can still get it in time for Christmas even if it's on back order (I've done that once or twice). This coincides with the release of that. I agree that a Hobbit bonus would make sense, but seeing as they've done this the past few years, I doubt they want to change it.

True. Has Lego ever done a S@H bonus fig around the Holidays? The past few years I know they've done Winter Village expansion sets.

Heroica RPG - Quest#100: To The Tower of Babel

Althior rolled his eyes. The girl was becoming a nuisance. He looked to the Golem with false, pleading eyes. "You do not understand, sir. We come begging for help. The Sorceress Ambergaze of Babeleth has returned and threatens the free islands in the Crystalline sea. She sides herself with a group of outlaws who are planning to level the city. We need to know her weaknesses, or the Free Islands are just going to be the start." -
That could just be due to the animation in the game. Lego could try to make more upright big figs, but all of the ones they've made for Marvel, LotR, and Star Wars have been slouched over a bit, so I wouldn't expect them to change that now.

Kingpin was a big guy, but completely unnecessary as a big fig. Darkseid may not be great as a big fig (though I have no problem with the idea), but it makes some sense as he's a hulking alien dictator. This pic shows Darkseid from the New 52 JL book where he is larger than the usual hero.

True. Also for advanced classes a roll of 4 actually is good for the hero (Meditate, Steal). I say the way it is is fine.

Best Minifigures of 2014? (LEGO and Custom)
K-Nut replied to DarkKnight7's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Lego: Star Lord (Starblaster Showdown) Rocket Raccoon Martian Manhunter Infearno Darth Vader (ISD) Captain America (AA) I haven't ordered many custom printed figs this year, but Kinetic Man has to be my favorite so far. I also like MRM Dark Phoenix and American Super Soldier, which I have yet to order. -
Oh I know. I have a purist Darkseid that looks great minifig scaled. I know in JLU (if memory serves correctly) that he's just a bit taller than Supes and Bats, but in the New 52 Justice League Arc, he seems much larger than the two. Either way seems great, but I'm guessing TLG will use a big fig.
-
Grodd was a DLC Character in LB2 as a normal fig. He looked fine. Darkseid could be a fig, but I think he's better as a big fig.

Althior rolls his eyes, "I guess I've seen everything then. Come, now. The sooner we blow this thing to hell we all get to go home," Althior leads the party towards the tower. -
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (Video Game Discussion)
K-Nut replied to The Joker1's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I thought when the first trailer for the game came out they said that they'd combine forces to defend the world from Brainiac. It would make sense, seeing as that's what happened in the Marvel game and if they do bring in Darkseid at the end, the last episode of JLU had the LoD and JLA go against him together. -
I like everything I see there. Ford's new look is cool, as are the new Stormie helmets. I'd probably need another pic of the villain to get a good sense of whether or not I like him. It looks good so far, though!

LEGO Minecraft (Minfigure Scale) 2014 Rumors and Discussion
K-Nut replied to just2good's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Honestly, none of this looks that interesting. For a Minecraft lover it's probably cool, but the builds are basic and boring looking. The accessories and prints are cool, but that's about it. -
I hope so, because I think it looks really good! Nicely done!

I'd guess we'll get a Cyborg fig, though I'm not 100% sure. We'll definitely get s Supes fig, though with some of the posters, it could be a repeat of the 2012 one. Though I'm guessing we'll get a New 52 version in either the Darkseid set or the Brainiac one.

Oky posted a good pic a few pages back. Basically it's the Lego Movie flashback Vitruvius head and the Clone Wars Count Dooku hair. If you can't get that head, I'd use the newer Lando Calrissian head.

I picked up The Ghost and The Phantom the other day. I've only had time to build The Ghost so far, and must say I like it. The figs themselves are great, and I enjoyed the build as well. However, the hairpiece of Kanan seems to be like a cheaper quality plastic, and when I put it on the figure, it's difficult to get the hair off without taking the head with it, and the head doesn't seem very loose on the torso. Is this a common problem with the new hairpiece?

Nice to have another Wisconsinite on the boards! I remember seeing a couple of your posts in my lurking days, and it's nice to see you've come back.

That's not entirely what I tried to do. I wanted to have a healer in our party plus the dwarf to help us with the bombmaker (though that didn't really pan out as well as I thought). Plus I thought Walbartan and Hodurr were the most interesting, so I didn't really want them to die. This is true. Khorne and I have checked in a few times in this quest about various things. He's able to pull off the stubborn and self centered roleplay, but he's even told me that he always makes sure that he's not crossing any lines.
