It's goofy looking on the actual car I thought I read there was dual shocks all around. I may have been mistaken - sorry There certainly is a lot going on that we know diddly about. I wonder why TLG thought they could 'sell' this set on the toy fair if the major selling points was not demonstrated? It's crazy expensive compared to the BWE -

But we can agree that tractors very rarely have suspension, right? I know many six-wheeled forrest vehicles have trailing arms, but still no proper suspension So, you troll tractor forums then, eh? -

Impossible, brown is dead. Chocolate (aka reddish brown) or turd (aka dark brown) would be their options now Trans-clear would be wicked IF it really has a load of goodies under the hood(s) Pearl/metallic grey would also be nice if wasn't for the swirls in that colour I think it's going to be ..... WHITE A few hundred extra grams won't pull down 8 shocks -

Not sure if there's a "lot" more honestly I think it's because this set is simply not done yet, hence the stickers and the black colour. PF parts takes a long time to develop (and it's not in house afaik) If it could drive etc, that would be shown. Afterall toy fairs are VERY important for TLG to pitch their products to retailers -

Is there really much more weight in the bodywork compared to the 8070? Shocks may be red but the spring could be the hardest one -

We can agree on that as TLG does not offer a "pump/motor" upgrade. At least not now (ohh, I miss Service Packs!! ) -

That would be lame and pointless. A motorized pump is all this set needs (and maybe new wheels allthough I think they're okay) Outriggers are ugly too .. -

This must be first Technic set with the same colour for the chassis and the body work, no? -

Thanx for the info, quite interesting Yes, it's just Unimog style b-model. Which is okay. Would be cool if Unimog/Claas attachments would fit either vehicle though -

Well, it looks like it doesn't have a spring so maybe. but it will need a long stroke so where to hide it (and the motor + bat box)? -

TLG uses different kind of plastic now so white/grey/blue will not have the same problems as in the old days Yes, can you "gulf" it also? -

Well, that's your opinion I think the opposite No compressor as there's no motor/battery box to drive it. Maybe you mean a small pump that could be easily motorized? -

Look at the video, the turning angle is like 12 parsecs -

Damn, those floppy hoses are really ruining the looks. There's even rigid ones used for the cabin! Dammit TLG, have you forgotten all about the 8868? -

It looks VERY messy in a complete black car. Looks like a prelim MOC honestly Also, I highly doubt there are rubberbands like that in the real life Porsche -

Yes, they would. These toy fairs are VERY important for TLG as it's here they pitch the sets to retailers -

That's my understanding also. So it should have a swinging front axle then as I can see it's mentioned in some of the offcial Claas links here (but still not in that 65 page pdf) -

Yes, I understand but that pdf is very comprehensive. Why leave out such an important feature? -

Is an undamped trailing arm a suspension? Hmm .. -

I don't think it has any suspension besides the tyres and the cab I've read the 65 page pdf and suspension is only mentioned with regards to the cab Wheel's seem to fix to the frame -

They could have used the batterybox as the front counterweight (maybe make it black?) and had a proper engine inside instead But maybe it's not possible to have the wheels drive it with that sterring setup? -

Thats what I thought, so complaing about the lack of suspension is a bit daft -

That is one ugly crane. Why not use the AROC parts? What kind of suspension does this have in real life?
