  1. Might anyone be able to recommend a cabinet for modulars? I am looking for a display case, preferably with a glass door. It would look great if I could have several modular side-by-side. I have an Ikea Kallax, with Wicked Brick panels installed. Of course, they only allow one modular per cubicle, and the Town Hall does not fit. Where I am at, Pottery Barn offers a very expensive cabinet, but most of the China-made ones from Wayfair and Home Depot seem a bit less deep to accommodate even the baseplate.
  2. SW minifigs seem to be the line with the most 'valuable' minifigs. They seem to appreciate in value over time. I know many of you have extensive collections out there. How do you keep them safe, but at the same time display or feature them? I posted in another thread that all my minifigs are displayed inside Ikea Sannahed frames, with some custom frame inserts. I can hang those on the wall and at the same time keep them safe from dust. Are there any outstanding product out there for display you might recommend? How do you catalog the figs and keep track of their versions if they are displayed?
  3. Really hate it when we get these 'incomplete' figs and we are waiting and waiting and waiting for Lego to finally produce the missing part. How many years did it take them to make the Classic Space helmet in green, after the Ideas green space couple. Now we are waiting for the dark blue helmet and dark blue air tanks for a dark blue spaceman. And now we are just waiting for a reddish orange set of legs.
  4. Whether you display them in a case or a frame, how do you keep track of the exact catalog number of your minifigs? I currently have a large collection of IP (SW, Disney, etc) minifigs. Right now, they are all individually packed in mini zip lock bags with the catalog numbers and corresponding set numbers written with a Sharpie on the outside. However, I eventually plan on displaying them inside IKEA Sannahed frames, with those custom plastic inserts (mostly from eBay). Not sure what the best way is to still keep track of their catalog numbers, other than perhaps having a list written somewhere and hiding it inside the frame. Any ideas?
  5. I feel like the minifig team got lazy designing new Iron Man armors for the new hall of armor.
  6. I wonder who would be their next choice of Brickheadz?
  7. Isn't it that BAM figs only get *one* accessory per minifig? (What is stranger is that this is the first bricksuit minifig with legs that don't exactly match the body color. If Lego recolored the legs, I think it would sell really well.)
  8. Fire Brigade is technically 24/7, although not a commercial establishment. Are Town Hall and Fire Brigade technically the only two non-commercial establishments in the modular line?
  9. Any update as to any new complete monochrome minifigs? It seems that neon yellow and this reddish-orange are still not complete.
  10. Some are already listing this on eBay. My usual seller for the past two years confirmed that he will get it in stock in the next two weeks. I do find it curious that this is the only brick suit minifig that does not have legs in a matching color. I do wonder if Lego plans on releasing regular legs in that red-orange shade.
  11. Increasing the height of the Tudor floor seems to work well: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-208858/Kuragari1/tudor-corner-timber-floor-furnished/#details
  12. I would like a crab with a printed eye. Give us more lobsters (starting with a recolor). And it is also time to give us some prawns or shrimp!
  13. Brain fart... for some reason, the thought of missing animal costume minifigs crossed my mind.
  14. 1) Elephant - because there are points of articulation, as well as customization (tusks). I wish the legs could move as in the old style elephants. I also like the wolf, and tiger. 2) Llama, giraffe, turkey, and of course brachiosaurus.
  15. Which batman mini figures are based on actual canon batsuits? Sorry to revive an old thread. I posted about this on an old DC thread (not a separate thread) and I could not find that post anymore using a google or forum search: From what I could find: Pirate Batman Arctic Desert Knightmare Armor Heavy armor Tactical suit Electro-batman Scuba-batman (not TLBM scu-batsuit) Space Batzarro Anything else?
  16. I was visiting Berlin last year. And some of the more popular BAM minifigs tend to be kept away and can only be purchased if you ask an associate. I think they were limiting the quantity one can buy?
  17. I wonder if we will get more new characters later this year? Rumor mill has been quiet. I collect mainly minifigs and usually have them framed. Planning ahead if I might need to increase the number of pedestals for future characters in my frame insert.
  18. And here we go... here comes the double MOC: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-209004/dejo/tudor-center-modification-of-set-10350-tudor-corner/#details I feel like the "Tudor" features are a bit 'drowned out' by increasing the footprint of the building. Perhaps the more modern elements are now more prominent. Though I very much salute the efforts of these designers and very much appreciate these 'super size' MOCs, I usually prefer the originals with just some minor mods. Nice to have variety on my Lego street.
  19. I guess now we can just hope to get some interesting BAM minifigs as it has been functioning as a 'supplemental' CMF the past year or two.
  20. The Spider-verse minifig book is only listed as kindle edition on Amazon. Usually they have both the physical and kindle books listed at the same time. I wonder if the book with the minifig will be exclusive to say the Lego web site???
  21. Fantastic work! Yes, this is more aesthetically pleasing than the other MOC floor. I wonder how it will look beside the other medieval-inspired MOCs?
  22. Was the sheep ever a bestseller? Historically, has Lego ever offered recolors in PAB?
  23. OK, now I know why! I was typing on the search “tiger“ and “reindeer“ but apparently it’s under the names of “big cat“, and “animal“. Lol.
