    If Lego releases a big DC D2C, I wonder if they would make it modular compatible? If they make Arkham, for example, or if they might shrink its overall size a la X-Mansion? Probably way too early to speculate on anything…

    Star Wars guns are just in stun mode. The gun from retro space girl and other space characters are just fake guns. But Sylvester and Tweetie are poster children for domestic violence. LOL

    Whoops, for a moment you got me excited… I initially thought when you said they were not done yet, they were actually going to release expansion modules for the XMansion. lol But nonetheless, I’d be happy to just get more X Men characters. They’re probably going to pad pad future releases with a lot of repeats. And perhaps the Mansion may be left with only one or two exclusive minifigs.

    I think the possible good thing about it is if they make the head/ face printed on (and not sticker). That way, MOCs can still make use of it. LOL Oh well, we will just have to wait and see what Lego releases.

    With the potential set costing about $60, I wonder if the Galactus build will be quite similar in size/ piece count to the Sentinel build.

    Very hard to decide which one. My top ones would be: Boutique Hotel - overall winner for me for the uniqueness in color palette, design, and functionality. Town Hall - significance of the building Palace Cinema - unique design

    I HATE minidolls. I do agree that the Friends theme has come a long way and can often look better than the regular City theme. I still do not buy Friends (except the botanical garden to MOC). I think Lego is getting the idea that minidolls sell well, only because Friends is doing well, despite the fact that some who buy it actually dislike the minidolls. There was a designer interview (can't remember the set), who said that Lego is hoping that the Friends supporters of today will one day be the majority of AFOLs clamoring for more Friends sets. Are they trying to make the minifigs extinct? I HATE minidolls.

    I really think they skimped out on the piece count for the mansion so they could build a Sentinel, as well as have space in front for a battle. If they made this building much bigger albeit more expensive, I would still buy it for lack of alternative X-Men sets out there. I wonder if after this set, Lego would design more robust sets moving forward. I really do think that Sentinel is scrawny.

    Yes, I do think that perhaps Lego intended the Botanical Garden set as a 'park' feature and not an attached building of sorts. I bought the Friends sets too but have not built them. What I envision is different: - there is a park with two buildings, connected by a mini-park in between and perhaps even a stream with pond bridge. - the main building will be this 'modular' set. - the second building is a butterfly garden which would be the Friends set. It can even be an aviary, perhaps.

    LOL I get your point, but just to point out, Lego managed to make a minifig of a sex slave. They just gave her a skirt instead of letting her out with her usual bikini. They also somewhat redacted the name to just Princess Leia (vs. Slave Leia used in the past version). This is despite the fact that figures like Oola may never be made again. Swords, Guns... Star Wars. How does Lego market this as adult-only? That way we can get some of the characters from our childhood.

    It already looks so puny beside a townhouse, how much more when beside the other Marvel D2Cs??? Yes, definitely!!! Do I need to buy two of these on day 1? LOL Truly, there is nothing wrong with releasing a puny set, if Lego would release more follow up modules to it.

    Some cartoon images of the X-Mansion show three floors. It would have been great if Lego could release expansion modules as future sets.

    They could repeat Piggy and Kermit and then feature the rest of the Muppets gang for a series 2. Either that, or make a Muppets theatre with some missing figs like Scooter!

    I think this is missing the dog and raccoon for Pocahontas as well as the brick built figs for Beauty and the Beast.

    Wolverine looks like he just has plain blue legs. Could this be a sign it is indeed Mystique? LOL I still want Nightcrawler and Jubilee. Forgot about Colossus. Forgot about him too.

    Box has been leaked! Iceman looks like a *filler* minifig… little effort put in by Lego in order to increase the minifig count. Lol

    It could possibly be easily MOC'ed to make the areas around it as sidewalks.

    Now that you mention it... we are yet to see any second installment for some of those licensed minifigs. Did they not sell well? Or was the license exhausted?

    If Lego were to be lazy, they could release a Sentinel vs Wolverine set! LOL They could do a Sentinel minifig inside a Mech, with a reused Wolverine. LOL Not sure I’d buy it though.
