  1. Has that appeared in any canon movie or series???
  2. I wouldn't mind if they keep making these unnamed named characters. LOL
  3. Agree. I would add Admiral Trench. I wonder how adventurous Lego would be in investing bespoke molds for the likes of Talzin and Trench... but this is SW and it sells quite well. I also wonder if they would make more sets from the Bad Batch? Going back to the movies... I don't believe Lego has made any astromech droid with the cone-style head? I think there are one/ two (?) astromechs in one of the opening scenes of Episode 4 that have yet to be made.
  4. Really hoping we get some more comic book based characters/ versions.
  5. Thanks!!! Tudor Corner looks like it might go really well with "Old Town", possibly Village Square. Umbrella Store looks very British but seems a bit more modern. I do have Carpenter's Shop already built and I love it!
  6. Has there been any modular MOC any of you guys have come across on Rebrickable that might look good beside this upcoming Tudor Corner?
  7. When storing/ displaying minifigs, is it best to have them not hold accessories? I read somewhere that the minifig hands can break in the long term when holding weapons/ accessories. I have a huge collection of minifigs from various themes and will be displaying them in IKEA Sannahed frames (inserts have the inverted bricks glued to them as pedestals for the minifigs). Many of my Star Wars minifigs came with weapons. I really like the idea that each minifig holds the weapons/ accessories it came in the set with, but will set those aside if it would be lead to the hands cracking over time. By the way, I store my minifigs in my basement where it is cool all year round. Any suggestions for cataloging the figs?
  8. These are great ideas. Lego seems to be very selective in what they release as a modular. Fortunately, there are other themes that can possibly have modulars in their lineup.
  9. Lego would be bold in releasing this Tudor corner as it is a style never before released in modular form and to fit in the city layout. The Marvel buildings are already modular style so skyscrapers are not really new to the city layout. I would not be opposed to it though. But I would like to see Lego do more of these unique styles, or follow up on some of the unique styles they have done in the past (Parisian restaurant, Boutique hotel, etc.)
  10. You would think that the cat lover would have some votes because of the new animal mould! I LOVE animal costumes and classic themes. I wish I could vote for more than one... Wolfpack, Hamster, Pterodactyl.
  11. If Lego would be selling $300 (or even $500) LOTR sets, I am all in if they would include a 'complete' set of characters for a scene, just like with the Rivendell set.
  12. This Tudor corner seems to have the museum in the background. Was that modular intended to be British as well?
  13. I’m so excited for this, but also quite excited for the modular theme. Are we going to get more British themed buildings? Or perhaps from other nations?
  14. I just absolutely love this set! I cannot agree more with what was said before that it does not even look like something that Lego usually makes! Which to me is a good thing! I do not agree with people who are saying that this does not belong in this theme. What makes this exciting for me is that perhaps Lego will release some more European/ British-inspired modulars in the future - not necessarily in the modular line but under other themes. Or perhaps this will inspire a Bricklink set with similar design aesthetics. As it is, not all the modulars belong in the same street! Even taking out the Downtown Diner, not everything can harmoniously be placed side by side. To me, this set will start its own street!!!
  15. Looks beautiful! It actually looks like an expensive MOC, but I’ll take it!
  16. Now I'm not only interested in what the modular will actually be, but also why/ how the leaker mistook the appearance of the set for one design or the other.
  17. Completely agree!!! There is a huge population of superhero fans out there!
  18. I never said it would replace the CMF.
  19. Great observation! I really wish Lego would go back to releasing minifig ‘battlepacks’ centered around specific themes.
  20. My highlights for this set: - the three new animal molds, not necessarily their corresponding minifigs. - Wolfpack guy - Pterodactyl costume - hopefully we see more: brachiosaur, and even perhaps ichthyosaur. - hamster - more animal costumes, please! - steampunk inventor Letdown: - cupid: form/ appearance should have been based on mythology.
  21. Excellent work! Love how you incorporated those lion heads into the building!
  22. I do think all three look nice. But Maneki-neko is Japanese.
  23. Leaks are out regarding 80116 and 80117. I'm liking the new Year of the Snake minifig. Bummed out though that there is no modular-like building this year.
  24. Lego has experimented quite a bit this year with untested concepts. Wish, and the Clamshell… I take it Snow White cottage sold well - it was backordered at one point. I have no objection seeing her in a CMF. Together with Merida.
