  1. Great job!
  2. Pokemon! Sky's the limit with all the characters!!! My other collecting passion is model (commercial) airplanes. You would think that the only airline license to have a special Pokemon livery would be a Japanese airline, right? But there are actually several across Asia! ANA (Japan) has had a Pokemon livery on several of their planes since the '90s. Nowadays, several airlines across Asia have at least one plane: Skymark (Japan), China Airlines (Taiwan), T'Way (Korea), Garuda Indonesia (Indonesia), and Scoot (Singapore). https://flying-pikachu.com/en/pika_jet/ With that much following, Lego can't go wrong with that level of demand in Asia alone. And while on the topic of themed planes, EVA (Taiwan) has had several Sanrio jets! Perhaps Lego could also look into Hello Kitty!
  3. Maybe this will just be the year of recolors! LOL But I would like to eventually see some of the animal costumes made into real Lego animals like the llama, giraffe, etc.
  4. Is this minifig supposed to represent a particular character? It would have been nice if it were the mouse. But I guess the rodent had to be upsized in proportion to the amount of cheese! LOL
  5. I take it that in 2025, we will only have these two smaller sets, and no large-expensive-at-the-same-time-expansive set for LOTR? It will be interesting what the reactions will be. People complained left and right about Rivendell being too expensive and too large. (I think that size, minifig count and level of detail justified the price.)
  6. Now I'm curious what is the most number of times Lego has re-used an IP figure in sets/ releases?
  7. How many more Wolvies can they make before they run out of versions to make?
  8. I hope Lego makes X-Men sets next year with minifigs.
  9. For that price, I wonder how many minifigs that Deathstar will include. I also wonder if there will be characters that have never been released before.
  10. Apart from some Lilo & Stitch minifigs, could we expect some more in 2025?
  11. I wonder if it will have some light bricks.
  12. Speaking of LOTR bigfigs, any suggestions for display options for these? I have a collection of LOTR, SW, Marvel, etc. minifigs and I like displaying them inside the IKEA Sannahed frames with those inserts you buy from eBay (acrylic backing with inverted bricks glued on to them). The bigfigs do not fit in the Sannahed frames, and I wish they were just a tad bit deeper, and I could display them with the rest of the Orcs.
  13. Some people even pointed out how he unnecessarily took up prime real estate in the CMF line... Not saying Lego should not make any more Stitch minifig, but that some other character could have taken that spot.
  14. Apart from the popularity of the CMF itself, DnD had some very useful parts for MOCing minifigs. Hopefully this continues. LOL
  15. For the price of that Deathstar, is it going to be able to travel across the galaxy and shoot its signature Laser beam to destroy a rebel planet?
  16. I do hope you are correct on those hints. That would be very exciting to see a Mary Poppins set!
  17. I would not disagree with you on a parking garage. Perhaps Lego could do that under a different theme? I would not mind if they do a dollhouse-incomplete back type of set that you have to buy multiple sets of and MOC into something meaningful. LOL But I think Lego likes a modular building that can host some vignettes or stories. I believe it is a modular tradition. I don't think a garage would have a lot of stories to tell. Love it when fresh new ideas come in!!! I like how even the 'fish and chips' rumor had some truth to it! LOL Singapore is one country that celebrates its heritage that is a mix of east and west. Ditto the Philippines. I'd love to see some sets from Asia, too!
  18. No new elements, just recolors and some new prints, and it is still a masterpiece!!! They mentioned that the stairs on the left had the Museum in mind. I wonder if they also picked out the colors carefully so it will also look good beside that Jazz tragedy. lol.
  19. Actually, I think Clone Wars might actually fill 3 1/2 ~4 Sannahed frames. The only other comparison is Episode 4 since many of the Episode 5 and 6 characters first appeared there. All other episodes and series have much less. Looking at my frames for Episode 1, many of them are Gungans. LOL. And the last three sequel movies, some can't even complete 16 characters. Hoping Lego makes more CW characters!
  20. Every couple of years, Lego gives us a masterpiece like this, and the boutique hotel. They also give us duds like the JC. LOL Can't wait to get my hands on this and build it. I also hope Lego would follow up with more British-inspired buildings to populate this street.
  21. Yes, I did consider doing that! Good guys, bad guys, and supporting cast! I also have minifigs from the other series and movies. And at least for episode 4, which was the movie that started it all, my first frame will be the first 16 characters that ever appeared, in sequence. However, I think at least two of the astromechs have never been made as minifigs. I am only using the minifigs which are officially listed on BL as coming from "Clone Wars". I know that all these characters exist as minifigs, but some of them are labeled under one of the prequels. Case in point, Cody. Many of the minifigs under the series "Clone Wars" on BL have only been made in the style of having those large wide eyes. For the sake of uniformity, I think I will end up populating at least the first two frames with minifigs from that period of production. I know we're getting a new Ahsoka padawan this coming year, but Dooku has never been remade. Hoping that Lego would remake him as he only exists in the old phase 1 from ages ago. The newer Cody is listed as 'Episode 3'. Yes, though he does not feature prominently during the 7 seasons of CW.
  22. Bacon that chunky in proportion to the pancakes? I'd definitely be in for that!
  23. My next project is framing my collection of SW minifigs beginning with those from the Clone Wars series. My collection, I think can fill about 2-3 IKEA Sannahed frames, with positions for about 16 ~ 18 minifigs per frame. The inserts are those that you usually could get on eBay, or even some private manufacturers. Anyway, any suggestions for which characters I should put in the first frame? I wanted to feature the most important ones. My current list is: Anakin Ahsoka Obi-wan Yoda Padme R2-D2 Clone trooper Captain Rex Chancellor Grievous Dooku Droid Super battle droid So that's about 13 of the most ubiquitous and important characters. Some of my runners up are Mace, Asajj, droideka,, Maul, Cad Bane. But I am curious if anyone might have a slightly different list? Of course, there are several other characters who should be on this list but have not been made in Lego form (Mother Talzin, Satine, etc.)
  24. I am hoping that the Balrog build will be substantial. I do wonder if they will include other minifigs other than Gandalf?
  25. Wonder if we’re gonna get any minifigs for any character in 2025?
