Well, people asked for a cheaper set and here we are. Lego gave us a cheapened set. LOL I love the minifig selection though and will definitely get the set at some point. I do wonder how much scalpers will ask for the GWP figs...

OMG, how could I have left out the most adorable animal in the planet! (Seriously, I have long wanted a 'silver' one as a pet. LOL

South America - time for Lego to release a Llama! North America - I was going to say polar bear, but apparently, it is also found in parts of Norway. Europe - can you name a Europe-specific animal? The only one I could perhaps think of is the langoustine (Yum!). Time for Lego to make some shrimp, finally. Many animals endemic to Europe can also be found elsewhere. There are species that are indeed endemic. But there are species from other genera found in other continents.

I can understand that Lego would want to release an IP product close to the release of a movie, etc. But to a certain extend, they can only wait so much, no? I do not think it is harmful to release the CMF as planned. Although if they do postpone it, I am pretty sure Lego already has future non-licensed CMFs in the works and I would not mind a second one. (I would even prefer two CMFs each year! LOL)

The Cruella dress set (43262) has a Cruella minidoll with a cloth robe/ trench coat. I wonder if this is compatible with a minifig? If yes, I do hope Lego remakes Cruella in a black dress and comes with this cloth piece.

Been wondering about that too. But the BDP Sushi restaurant can probably be easily modified to be modular. I think it will only be a matter of time when someone makes a MOC to it is modular compatible. But since Lego has a say in the final design, it would be interesting how they steer the designer away from a modular compatible final design. This already comes with a vehicle so no GWP needed with this. LOL!

The MOC pop-up store overrode the "disliked' stores settings. BL aggressively featured stores with high inventory, regardless if whether my profile set them as disliked and regardless that these stores had many complaints.

Oh yes, that one was actually terrific!!! Over at IG, people are complaining about the selection process not being 'transparent' enough. I think a lot of people were disappointed with the selection. I do feel that for the past couple of series, it seems that the selections have been short of many people's expectations. I think that there should be runners-up where people can just buy the instructions. But perhaps Lego's own hands limits BL. You're giving me ideas... perhaps I should just buy these sets instead of contributing to my retirement fund. LOL

I just love that sushi restaurant - it sets it apart from other modulars (I know it isn't technically one). It has its own street! I was rooting for that plus the floating market!!! I would like to see something a bit different. Whether it is an actual plane or a plane cross-section, I would like to see Lego recreate the interiors of a plane with actual First Class/ Business class seats, economy seats, and flight attendants with their trolley! I think there was an Ideas proposal several months/ years ago.

I feel like that for the price, they could have included a couple more minifigs - some random bystanders or villagers! LOL I re-watched that segment and Bilbo had a segment where he was telling a story to some children. With the current Lego mould however, the next smaller minifigs for children would be the infant/ baby! LOL

I wonder how often Lego will be releasing D2Cs - every year now? Plus several smaller sets? I would certainly like those! I also wonder if all the Lego Disney releases will be widely promoted at the Disney stores?

Great point! I do wonder what happened to that plan announced several years ago that they were going to open a factory in North America? I am quite worried myself. With all the fans clamoring for a cheap set, I am only afraid that Lego will actually cheapen it. Well, there is Star Wars. Let’s see what this GWP actually is.
