I think that because Batman seems to be featured so heavily in TLM, they wanted to get a couple sets with him out, but didn't dare realease the whole wave for the same reasons everything else is on hold. That's the only sense I can make of it. I don't really care if DC gets more sets out this year or not. It's nice to have it with Marvel, since they are actually releasing a variety of things (Spider-Man, Captain America, the Avengers, X-Men, and Guardians of the Galaxy) but DC doesn't really need it if we would just get more Batman stuff, even if they so generously throw Green Lantern and another Robin variant in.

That's not a good sign for the build itself, but I bet that there is another exclusive mold or two aside from Wolverine's cowl keeping that piece count low.

I made her Batgirl costume before but never shared it because I was having camera problems. I just used Batman's cowl on a plain black head. I think that would actually be more accurate than cutting up Babs' hairpiece. Also, Anakin's hair does appear in black in the larger Little Mermaid set for Prince Eric.

I think that it is actually this piece. There may be a plate there though. That Wolverine variant did appear in the game though, so it seems like TT got a good glimpse of these.

Ninjago is getting another temple? I hope that this one lives up to the Fire Temple!

I came across Imaginext's DC line earlier and compiled a list of the characters I noticed they had produced and a comparison to LEGO's. I would share it, but it's on another computer. That image is still preliminary, right? Wolverine looks cool, but I'm not a big fan of that Sentinel...I hope that it isn't the supposed fifth figure in the set. That's assuming it's final though, which is something I shouldn't do.

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion

I was just picking up some things at S@H and once my order hit $75, a free WyldStyle poster was added. Edit: Looks like it was free with any purchase and I just missed it before. Here's the description: And you can see the poster here- 2,626 replies

I haven't watched Chima since the first episode, but decided to take a look at this anyway. Plovar (Plomar?) is the best character, but he's just okay. The rest are idiots (Rhogon too, no matter how many big words he uses). The animation and music are good. The voice acting is bad, but Laval's at least doesn't bother me as much as it seems to with other people. Anyway, this was bad enough, that I might actually watch a few more. This might be so bad that it's good.

$90 is bigger than anything we have gotten in this line yet (except Arkham) so that's a little surprising, but very cool if we'll get more sets of that size in the future. I'll probably skip the GOTG sets and just get the X-Men one. $50 was what I was expecting anyway. Also, I don't think that figure is Magneto. If it was, I think he would include a cape, and the colors just look more like Cyclops than Magneto or a sentinel to me. It is preliminary though, so we could all be wrong.

I don't know, but this would probably go on my list of least detailed D2C sets. It makes good use of floor space, but that's because there is so much. Maybe larger images will reveal things I'm missing, but it doesn't have the sorts of things I expect from D2C sets.

I like LEGO houses as much as the next guy, but this is a really dull and expensive one. Pass.

Does Lego's emphasis on minifigures change the way kids play?
SoupOrFishOil replied to naf's topic in General LEGO Discussion
If that is the intention, it doesn't work. I bought a set from Target recently to find too late that it had been tampered with. The entire first bag was gone, and there was a cut in the second so that the thief could remove the figure there. -
A lot of times they have to do it quickly and probably secretly with cellphones. These are smaller than what we are used to, but I'm glad that we're getting anything this early.

You sure have! I'll have to place an order soon. That's how I got a pilfered set. LEGO seems to be okay with replacing the missing parts though. Their customer service is amazing at times like these.

Is it "Actual Size"? I found a sole Riddler Chase at Target last weekend, so I know that they are out, but it had been pilfered. Word is that Man-Bat is also out in the wild, but no sign of any of them on US S@H.

Those look like yellow hands with a dark blue body to me, so I'm pretty sure it's Cyclops. These things change though. Do we know that isn't the box for the set with Magneto and Storm though?

I bet that there is at least one more character, since the only SH sets that have four characters introduce a new big-fig mold (Helicarrier and Spider Copter). Maybe it'll come with Sabretooth or Mystique too?

I feel like these needed repeating. Honestly, I can hardly stand Magneto's classic costume, so I'm liking this one much better. Storm I can't comment on because she I can see so little, but I would not be surprised if it turns out that she does have the design that TT used in their game. I bet that we'll be getting that masked Wolverine in one of these sets too....

I like Johnny's "new" face. It looks good with pupils. Also, it looks like they confused Hal Jordan with Alan Scott.- 2,626 replies

Yeah. From what I understand, retailers are still afraid of Hal Jordan after the movie bombed. Though, I did notice while doing some research comparing Imaginext's DC stuff to LEGO that they do have an Oa playset (complete with Kilowog and Ch'p ).

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion
SoupOrFishOil replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
As someone who didn't car for this year's wave of TMNT sets (aside from a few figures) I want to say that the sub is great. I'm not so sure about the Mutation Chamber, because Spyderbytez seems to be the main draw there (and taking from a lot of pieces) and I can't stand the look. I couldn't even tell it was a spider until someone mentioned it. I'm looking forward to seeing the other two sets now though. -
Eh, the Batplane at least has some pieces I'm looking for to improve on the one from 2012. But the steamroller is good and I still can't get over Batgirl.
