  1. Batgirl, whose baby are you.... It's me, right? I'm really excited to finally get Batgirl. Babs is one of my favorite characters, and I love that minifigure. I can't remember the last time I was this excited for one. I'll admit that she looks a bit strange (New 52 goes a little over the top), but I can over look any tiny faults. I'm just so happy. Because they are gold?
  2. Why would they keep it a secret? They had three other full sets they could have shown if they were worried about spoiling something.
  3. Those vehicles are pretty cool. I don't care for the minifigures much, but those hairpieces... Cryptor looks cool though.
  4. Hm, I didn't think Time Cruisers was bad either and I don't want to derail this any further. I guess it is just more popular with others than I thought. Really sorry.

  6. Fantastic work. Very clean and great to look at.
  7. I like Friends a lot, actually. The only big draw back is the mini-doll, and even then they aren't that bad. Besides, LEGO has done much worse.
  8. The time frame varies. It could be anytime between now and Halloween. So Batman and Green Lantern against Joker, Sinestro, and someone else with a steamroller. That's pretty out there. It's possible, but I don't think that Sinestro is a part of that. If we get someone new, my guesses are Mad Hatter or Clayface, but I've been way off before. Not really. Again, they can do much better but their choices aren't that much of a mystery. Batman, Spider-Man, and movie tie-ins are just safer than stand-alone Green Arrow sets. The exception may be Thor. If we don't get sets based on TDW (I'm still going to say it's unlikely at this point) that will just go further to show how safe they are playing. There is always a way to make more money. There isn't a whole lot going on the DC side of the theme, but the Spider-Man property they are using for inspiration (whether it was mandated by Disney or not) does give us characters I wouldn't have expected to see nearly this soon, if at all.
  9. Probably the same way as the eagles and the ravens' wings, without it.
  10. It's increased to 5%. Notable, and they have catered to us more, but children and people shopping for them are buying tons more. LOTR is a good example of a theme that caters more to older builders, and I do wish that LEGO would do that here too. That got me thinking about how much Star Wars has improved since it was first released (well, mostly) even if that is more due to the time. Maybe part of LEGO's strategy with this theme is to gradually improve, grow, and diversify this theme to keep people in it for the long run interested? I know that I'll buy another Batmobile just because it includes Flash this time, and if they released a better Batwing I'd probably buy that too. Just a thought I do largely agree with you too. It's great that we are getting Flash, Green Lantern, and a few more X-Men next year, but should it have really taken three years? And even then, we still probably won't have well rounded rosters aside from the MCU Avengers and maybe Spidey's team from USM.
  11. LEGO isn't aimed at AFOLs first. Sure, LEGO should give us more comic Marvel sets and release DC heroes much faster than they do now, but they want to appeal to the kids. That's why we only get Batman, Spider-Man, and movies. They have to do minimal marketing themselves, since Disney/WB already is or they are already extremely popular to casual fans. Again, I think that they can do much better, but I their current "safe" strategy is pretty understandable.
  12. Another Justice Leaguer is good, but GL is my least favorite so I would rather have Nightwing, and/or Batgirl. I hope this means we can't get all three though....
  13. That scorpion is pretty cool, but I'm not sold on the spider. Maybe when better images come out.
  14. Maybe DC will get a Summer wave too? Even if not, I'm kind of glad to see that it isn't holding Marvel back any more. Hopefully it will just help this theme grow as a whole.
  15. What other heroes are there in ASM2 or even rumored besides Spidey though? The only other "heroes" I can think of would be civilians, and I don't see why they would be counted.
  16. Well, I don't know what "other heroes" we could get from ASM, so it sounds like at least two from USM.
  17. Interesting, but I don't really have much to say without pictures or what characters we'll be getting. The wording of the Spider-Man blurb seems to confirm Power Man and/or White Tiger, at least.
  18. I start laughing every time I hear this. I mean, really? WB wouldn't be that dumb...right?
  19. Isn't that just Aquaman?
  20. Market saturation? Even Star Wars wasn't built in a day. Maybe it'll get larger in 2015, when/if the license is renewed.
  21. The Hobbit sets at least have rumor lists. A Thor 2 set isn't impossible, but I do think it unlikely at this point.
  22. I'd rather have a duplicate Harley than the New 52 version.
  23. I think that Deskp means the sets, in which case they aren't.
