  1. Well, if the 2009 Pirates theme was meant to test the waters for PotC which was released about a year after the 2009 theme was retired and if RoboRiders/Slizers/Throwbots were only released a year before BIONICLE, then why start a test market in 2007, retire it in 2009 for a possible theme four years later in 2013? (And don't say, just think positive to me, I am actually not very interested in a LotR theme )
  2. I think it's actually the same expression, the mouth is just open a little bit more.
  3. I guess they aren't cutting Lavendar out of this game Though it does seem kind of strange that they'd choose her for the cover over a more major character like Ginny, Snape, or Hagrid (not that they could cuddle Ron's leg, but Ginny could to Harry). Though, I suppose that it could be a bit of a reference to the Scabbers/Crookshanks on Ron on the last cover. Overthinking-Done
  4. The first picture we saw of Selina Kyle had her on the Batpod and according to wikipedia, there is a second Tumbler in the movie (and there was a photo), so I'd say it's a possibility that they will be sets. I don't know about in the Batcave set though, I am not expecting a vehicle larger than the batcycle (if there is one at all).
  5. If the green ninja is on the box, I'd think it would be Kai, considering he was on the 2011 boxes and is widely accepted as the main character. Why? I don't know, green is the opposite of red. Unless Nya replaces him though, but I don't think she will. I'm not even convinced she will appear (in the first wave at least).
  6. Weren't the Black Pearl and Arkham Asylum sets announced and released later than the rest of the PotC/Batman sets, maybe The Green Lantern'll at least they come in a set like that, possibly whatever the Justice League's home-base is. I would think that it might include Wonderwoman, and/or Superman and/or Batman, and a couple villians, such as The Penguin. Not that I really associate him as being a Justice League villian, (not that I know anything about the Justice League, really) he is one of the best known Batman DC Universe villians, probably only lesser known that The Joker, Lex Luthor, and Catwoman. I think Wonderwoman will be appearing in a set alongside Batman or Superman, just taking the list of figures we have into account, though it is very well possible that I am wrong. I don't know why Green Lantern would be absent from 2012 release anyway, seeing as he has an action-figure (though I prefer that he has one, rather than Wonderwoman ). I wouldn't be surprised if the three DC action-figures aren't released until the Summer to accompany the three Marvel ones, as LEGO normally always does Action-Figures in groups of Six (though not necessarily, as seen with recent Hero Factory Villians). As Arkham Asylum didn't come out for another three months later than the other Batman Sets, I'd say it's possible a Limited/Special Edition Set will be on the shelves before the action figures, but if I am wrong about the action figures, at least before Marvel takes over the toy aisle (besides Dark Knight Rises sets which were mentioned in a Press-Release).
  7. Hello! I've been looking for a Batgirl (Barbara Gordon) face here's a Reference Image. And if possible, a second side of the face to give her white eyes, similar to the original Catwoman minifigure, but with a white visor rather than silver. Reference Picture I don't need a torso, I am capable of making may own and already have it finished, but I am horrible with faces. Please Thank-you (in advance)!
  8. James Potter I: Normal Male Hair in Black (the hairpiece which has been around since the 70's) Harry's Face (Either Goblet of Fire Redesign or the current one) Gryffindor Sweater (Goblet of Fire Redesign) Black Legs That's how I made my James Potter, the Hairpiece does cover up Harry's Scar pretty well.
  9. Yeah, a couple pages back
  10. Dumbledore is here at the bottom of the picture. He isn't updated, the eyebrows give it away, doesn't mean they won't change it though!
  11. Good to see another one of these e-mails, even if it is a little vauge. Interesting that they claim the theme began in 2002, but I guess that just means it's a real person .
  12. Actualy, that one has a blue cape/cowl/tights/gloves, while on this one they are black. Not a big difference, but still, variation is nice.
  13. Has this figure been posted here? I found it on Brickipedia.
  14. We will according to variety.com: Here's the cast on wikipedia, I suppose we might get James Gordon or Ra's Al Ghul for new figures, as Bane and Catwoman are already in the line-up, according to Grahme. I would hope that we would get minifigures and sets from the whole trilogy so we could have a new Scarecrow and Tumbler. Edit: I really should of read that article on wikipedia, apparently there is a new Tumbler in it.
  15. A typo, as I copied and pasted from the Joker set to save time and didn't check the proper set number. But now I am confused that I notice the set numbers for Catwoman and The Batcave compared to the others. We'll find out in a month or two I suppose. Yeah, I noticed that, but LEGO really loves veichles. I wouldn't be surprised if it is some sort of simple structure though as the only veichles listed were the Batmobile and Batwing, but I thought that could be because LEGO created their own bat-veichle, like the Dragster from 2006.
  16. Set numbers, unless it is an exclusive (which I don't think that we would be hearing about just yet).
  17. Here are my predictions for the DC theme using this list of minifigures (I crossed out the oneson the list I didn't have to guess with, and italisezed the ones I am guessing with): Bane Batman Catwoman Harley Quinn Lex Luthor Superman The Joker Wonder Woman Poison Ivy Two-Face Bruce Wayne Robin The Riddler 6858 Batman vs. Catwoman Minifigures: Batman and Catwoman Veichles: I would guess either the Bat-cycle or one of LEGO's own creations for Batman. Catwoman probably will have another motorcyle or a car of some sort. Price: $9.99-12.99 I really don't know much about Superman (I don't care for him either), but here is my guess.... 6862 Superman vs. Lex Luthor Minifigures: Superman, Lex Luthor, and Wonder Woman (Where else?) Veichles: Mech for Luthor I'd suppose Price: $19.99 6863 Batman vs. The Joker Minifigures: Batman, The Joker, and Harley Quinn (The Joker's Lover) Veichles: Batmobile and some sort of car or truck for The Joker Price: $39.99 6864 Batman vs. Two-Face Minifigures: Batman, Two-Face, The Riddler (Friends with Two-Face) Veichles: Batwing and some sort of helicoptor or truck for Two-Face Price: $59.99 6860 The Batcave Minifigures: Batman, Bruce Wayne, Robin, Poison Ivy, Bane (All default) Veichles: None Price: $79.99 4526 Batman Price: $12.99 4527 The Joker Price: $12.99 4528 Green Lantern Price: $12.99 That all adds up to about $240, which sounds about right, but I don't think that the contest values were correct as the Batcave could not the be the largest set in a $250 wave and be only $50. There are a couple things that don't add up to me though: First of all, the Green Lantern is being released as a constraction figure (though I would choose him over a Wonder Woman one )but not as a minifigure , unless he appears in 6864 or 6865 as back-up for Batman. Second: Poison Ivy and Bane teaming up, doesn't Poison Ivy hate men ? Though LEGO could of just thrown them in because neither would need a fancy veichle.
  18. LEGO doesn't have a SONY license, and SONY is the company making the new Spiderman movie, so LEGO won't have movie based sets. I don't think anything is stopping LEGO from releasing Spiderman sets at the same time though. I wonder if Mega Bloks goes after the SONY license....
  19. Didn't one of the press releases say that there will be Batman sets released to accompany The Dark Knight Rises in the summer?
  20. The Chamber of Secrets didn't come out too well (it's okay, but has a bad Price Per Piece Ratio) and the Ministry could use a little more in it (also a bad Price Per Piece Ratio), and both could use a better foundation. The others are ready, except for the Sorcerer's Stone which I need to work on a little more to improve the exterior, I'll get right on it.
  21. I recently designed a wave of six sets on LDD with similar price points to the 2010 wave, which have a little from every year though I think I may have focused on ChmbrScrts and PrsnrAzkbn a litle too much . I might post these on Eurobricks sometime later and I don't think I remembered all of the accessories (especially for The Ministry of Magic). I think that these are pretty realistic, except maybe having Cedric as a minifigure, but I created this with the thought that it would represent a final wave, and he is really the only Hufflepuff who might be the known well enough to be a minifigure. I would like to see something similar, if the line were to continue. Update: It's the covered bridge, not the viaduct
  22. That's what I was thinking, and plus we heard about Years: 1-4 a couple months prior to the line's resurrection being announced, and the first wave wasn't released for another month or two. Maybe it's the same case here with Years: 5-7 coming out in November, and really, the only themes we have heard anything about are STAR WARS and Super Heroes, plus some CITY rumors. I don't think that we get a decent picture of what is coming until October, so we have some time.
  23. Do you have a link to that article?
  24. Wonderful! It doesn't look too much like a set if that's what you were going for, but it makes for a great MOC! I especially love the printed shields and the bathroom (not that I think I could go with that suit of armor facing me ). The chandelier and stairs are clever (though I think that there was a similar design for the stairs in Market Street). I only have one suggestion: In the books, Draco had an Eagle Owl (LDD Name: SNOWY OWL), I think that would make a little more sense than a blue parrot, but it's not a big deal.
  25. Oh hello! I've been aware of Eurobricks for a while and recently started reading the forums, the other day I decided to finally sign up, so here is my introduction, only a couple days late. The first thing that you should probably know about me is that I do know how to spell "Another American". I have been a LEGO fan all my life and am especially interested in the characters created by the LEGO company, especially minifigures from the mid-90's to mid-2000's (none after Alpha Team except for BIONICLE). I draw most of my LEGO-related insperation from the classic games, particularly the LEGO Island Series. I mostly collect CITY and Harry Potter right now, but I do dabble in just about every current system theme (,even the ones I am not so fond of ). My favorite LEGO theme of now is the Adventurers theme. Besides Adventurers, CITY, and Harry Potter, I also enjoyed BIONICLE and Alpha Team. Like many LEGO fans, I am looking forward to the new Superheroes theme, particularly Batman because he is the only Super Hero I really know anything about AND like. For now, I'll just show in... Oh, and about my avatar, I don't really like that head, but I didn't think anyone else would really want to have that as theirs.
