Great work, the detailing is excellent, and it captures the designs and proportions of the vehicle very well -

I didn't look there, I definitely agree with your assessment though. Actually, they were repainted, as shown at the end of ROTS, though unlike the Artiquens they don't appear for extended periods after the late CW/Rebels era -
That looks incredible, I must agree with Brickostan and Maple, the doors are incredible, and the windows are wonderfully detailed yet so constructed as to not outshine the rest of the brilliant build

That's Lego photography for you! Considering some of the amazing work their photographers, marketing and photo-editing people do outside of set design, I don't see why sets are shown in such unappealing ways. I have tried to calculate the length of the ship and it seems to be around 60-70 studs long, and that's being conservative, however much of that is lost to the forward projections of the hull and the engine assembly, so how much interior space there is is hard to determine. -
Here other brands aren't normally found at big-brand places which sell Lego, I am guessing it must be included in some sort of contract, however clone or other-brand road baseplates and third party minifigure display stands are often found interspersed with Lego

I believe the Gideons cruiser is a class 456 cruiser, similar to the Artiquens command cruiser, which is the later version of the light cruiser in CW (I become very knowledgeable on this ship through my research on how to mod this into an Artiquens) -

I think that as it is a relatively unique ship (well there are two other almost identical ships but there all thought of as the same) makes it stand out, and while there are some easily fixable scale issues like the cannons, the angles and proportions look quite good to me -

For me I would have to get that slave 1 then, or it would drive me crazy! -

The Slave one is very narrow though, the cockpit only four wide like the Cloud City version, though I anticipate most AFOLs at least will purchase the set for the figures The micro TIE fighters have a stud on the wings, so I am assuming this is a connection point to some sort of hangar -

These sets look amazing, I think 2021 will probably go down as one of the best years for SW yet, all of the figures look brilliant, as are all the sets, and I like DBG rather than LBG for the Marauder (Mano one not the BB one- this will be confusing), though my favourite is the - the micro TIE fighters are brilliant and I wonder if there is a microscale interior? -
It could depend on the size of the pieces too, if there are lots of small intricate details, and perhaps a large display stand, along with a full hull, rather than just a waterline model, you could achieve a high part count

Strangely the RC has just started appearing in many stores near me, having never seen the set in any store until now I didn't know that, it is the only helmet box I haven't seen in person, I suppose it is a smaller helmet so that would make sense -

I think you’re correct as to why pricing is diffferent here in Australia, since helmet boxes are the same size it would make sense due to difference in price between helmets in other countries not being prevalent here due to transport. I think Australian pricing fluctuates relative to other countries also because our dollar is very stable, whereas changes in other countries make our pricing differences seem strange. I also won’t be buying this set, to me it isn’t worth $110, even though it seems like a fair conversion for here, not be a se of PPP ratios but just as I don’t really like the subject and the figures can not justify it. -

It's US$70 which could easily be AU$150 for not all that many pieces with only two figures, of which one is not new. I would have expected more details as it is an 18+ set and dual moulding is commonly done in CMF figures. -

Since battle pack ideas are quite popular at the moment, here are some ideas I would like, they are not necessarily the best ideas, but they are what I would find helpful for my MOCs: -NovaCorps troopers: Commander Bavaria, 2x Galactic Marines, P2 Clone gunner -Death Star imperials: Imperial officer (white uniform), Imperial officer (grey uniform), Death Star trooper, Imperial gunner -Rebel Troopers: Rebel fleet trooper, Mon Calamari technician, Rebel Navy officer (Crix Madine style), Rebel technician -Mimban Troopers: Mimban Imperial officer, Mimban Stormtrooper, 2x Mudtroopers -

I think he did make a short trip to Kamino as the face print on Veers seems identical to the one on the screen! I think the addition of admiral Ozzel and Piett would have been nice as it would probably be our only chance to get him for some time I guess I’ll start off the inevitable complaints that there are no dual moulded legs for the officer Also, the Lego leak post said that the set was on the Mexican official site, I went on there but couldn’t find it -
Same here in Australia, while there seem to be stock issues, the space taken up by Lego at Kmarts, Big W and Target seems to increase. Myer has always had a dedicated Lego section/s but Kmart has gone from one aisle now to one whole wall plus 2-3 smaller aisles (admittedly lower shelves interspersed with other products) for Lego. Big W still has a whole aisle and another aisle for Friends and sometimes another aisle for Star Wars or Duplo. Toy stores in Australia have been in decline because they could not compete with larger department stores, in no way linked to Lego, while there are very few (8) certified Lego stores in Australia, and most are concentrated in four capital cities, bar one in Newcastle (a regional, albeit very large) city. However Australia Post outlets stock most polybags (not including Xtra sets). Lego stores here seem to be oriented towards experience too, stocking mainly 18+ and popular licensed sets, with much emphasis on the PAB walls more so than sets. Australia has had three Lego Masters so far, with two more planned, they are generally the highest rating shows on free-to-air TV when aired. I think they are very important factors in the rise of AFOL consumers here

Incredible work throughout, though I think my favourite part is the pink mohawk pieces

I see, I’ve had one battle droid legs break, which was from the old droid from the Jakku set so I didn’t really mind, though they are a weak mould overall, my main issue is that the joints weaken and become very flimsy. However I feel that in a way it is representative of the character it portrays -

I sort of like the battle droid mould, as I think changing it now when it is probably the most common figure would greatly upset most collectors while there wouldn’t be enough wanting the change to counter that. I haven’t had any problems with the super battle droid legs on my K2SO or commando droids (don’t have any super battle droids) although they’re not that old. I think an improvement would be to use the skeleton arm piece 93601 on battle droids which when placed the wrong way around holds blasters in a much better position -
