  1. That looks incredible. The attention to detail is superb and the overall effort placed into the the landscaping and building, as well as the vehicles is phenomenal
  2. Thank you, the troop bay underneath is completed, there would be room for an interior in the nose but I haven't completed it and it is filled with different hinges and other parts to get teh crumpled angles on the crashed version. Thank you. I almost did complete the ship, the entire rear section was almost 100% complete, as was most of the shaping at the front. I decided to dismantle it and show it this way for the storyline, and I thought it would be something a bit different.
  3. Thank you, and thank you for letting me know about my error. I have more figures in the background but didn't realise they weren't in any of the pictures I supplied. I will remove the episode part from the title and update later.
  4. Thank you, I am glad you like the terrain and structure details.
  5. *Your entry has earned 11 XP* One of CorSec's brand new 2nd Generation LAATi gunships has crashed on Taanab, having been sent to conduct security patrol operations on Taanab, searching for Holocron vaults potentially on the planet. Despite the shuttle's technologically advanced navigation system, droid-brain-assisted pilot, and side mounted thruster modules, this ship has unfortunately crashed, which has had a detrimental impact on operations. Members of the CorSec spec-forces team have moved out to secure the perimeter around the shuttle. As always, comments and criticisms welcome and thank you for viewing. More pictures are available here:
  6. *Your entry has earned 6 XP* A CorSec Viper III probe droid has been deployed to an abandoned quarry on Corulag, where it has encountered hostile forces. These may have significance to CorSec intelligence gathering operations, and hence it must be further investigated. However, prior to that, the advanced probe droid must first eliminate the threat to its safety. As always, comments and criticisms are welcome and thank you for viewing. More pictures are available here:
  7. *Your entry has earned 4 XP* On the planet of Corellia, at the CorSec medical station, members are recuperating from illness and injury before their next deployment to teh unknown regions. . . This is a smaller build, but comments and criticisms are welcome as always. More pictures available here:
  8. For me it depends on the animal, while some brick built small animals are well done, I much prefer moulded smaller animals, as I feel it is difficult to get all of the shapes correct. In terms of large animals though (anything bigger than cows or horses) I prefer brick built or partially brick built. I think the creator orca and the Star Wars luggabeast and dewback (they might not be real but the point still stands) show that larger animal builds can have substantial detail if not more than possible with a mould, as well as better posability
  9. I would really like to see a hospital in the same size as AS with a vintage ambulance (such as a Cadillac ambulance)
  10. I actually agree. In terms of train and minifgure parts, I don't really mind as they aim to improve Lego, but in terms of other products it seems to go against the purpose of the site, which is to discuss Lego. I do agree with that sentiment as well.
  11. The issue is that (according to some sources), Disney don't allow the character to be reproduced in a toy form.
  12. I really like the look of this castle set. As for the civilian figure shirt I have a feeling it may not be a pirate shirt, as the belt looks to be the same colour as the black legs. The current blue pirate shirt has a clearly light brown belt. Also the collar looks more rounded, and while the image is very blurry, the arms do not look yellow. Considering blue is the black falcon's colour for torsos it might not be an impossibility for new print.
  13. The last Jabba's palace did not have her, so there are ways around the issue.
  14. Currently Amazon AU has it for AU$32.00 (25 USD) and AU$39.00 (30 USD) is Kmart's regular price, its expensive price in the US is strange though. The official Lego price here would unusually work out cheaper than the US.
  15. I have a few of those, and a few made from unused ATST drivers. They are very versatile figures and i find they are a great figure which when modified can effectively add diversity to figures to avoid sameness of all minifigures which can be an issue with large armies, especially with imperial ones with many helmeted figures. By the way, how many imperial figures do you have now?
  16. For me it depends on the build, for fighters and vehicles shiny new pieces are better, but for buildings and terrain used parts have advantages. Nice Nevarro layout, even though you said the lbg/lg colour combinations didn’t work the textures in the walls are still nice, as are the greebles such as the pipes, which work well too. Do the 1x1 bricks with 1 stud represent blaster shots in the wall, if so they work well, otherwise they are also great ways of adding texture.
  17. Thank you, I moved the pantograph to the rear simply because when placed on my layout it would sit under a pedestrian bridge if at the front, and the details got lost. I didn’t really think about the accuracy at the time, but as the layout it used to sit on is now taken apart I will move it back to the front.
  18. It looks great. The exterior is amazing, and the interior details are very well done.
  19. Thank you. The real thing does have less aesthetically pleasing features, with the transparent roof on the MOC not being included on the real thing. The newer trains such as the A and B 'Waratah' sets have a mixture of light orange and yellow at the front, however older T sets do not. While light orange would be a better and more accurate colour, due to a lack of pieces I had on hand I chose yellow. I originally attempted to make an A set which would incorporate yellow and orange but shaping the curved front at 6-wide proved very challenging so I went for the more iconic T set.
  20. I'd extend that to 2014, maybe even 2016. I wouldn't say 2020 was bad, but I agree it wasn't that great. I think it could be described as a mix of great and poor sets with worse pricing, which equalled out into a mediocre wave.
  21. This is a train MOC I built some time ago, based on the Sydney Trains T-set 'Tangara Train'. It is intended to be part of a small railway layout within my city layout, hence its proportions are somewhat off compared to the actual train, and it lacks many of the T-set's details throughout. Much of the design differs from the actual train also, with some parts, such as the Bogies, taking more design cues from the more recent A,B and M sets. The train is 6-wide to fit with my other city vehicles, and runs on 9v tracks 5 studs apart. Comments and criticisms welcome, thank you for viewing.
