The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm so glad we are finally getting roller coaster tracks! I'll have to wait home to get a better verdict, but I doubt I'll purchase this set at full MSRP, although I do like it. -

I'm personally hoping for a regular manor. It looked really elegant in the movie, and I'm sure it would be filled with little Easter eggs. Hopefully it'll have some nice figures too! Looks amazing! How did you get Wizard Batman's cape to look so well? They seem to come very folded. -

I try to stay away from knockoff minifigs, but those Iron Man variants are certainly very tempting... Especially that Mark I! -

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Sorry to keep confusing people. As far as I know, he's one of the figures that was not updated. Hence my question was which figures which we have never gotten are still yet to be revealed to be coming in a set, because I'd like to complete the lineup. That's all. Sorry about the confusion! -

"Burnin' people with the truth!" I agree. It speaks of an inability to cope with not being to own anything one wants at the time one wants it. Hopefully some of those reviews are written by kids, which would not be as bad... -

Yup, that's what I meant! Thanks for clarifying for me. -

I am so glad we're getting Hawkgirl! With this and the rumored CMFs, which JL party minifigs are we missing (that are not identical to a previous release, like Martian Manhunter)? -
Hmmmm, it does look a tad too light. I do feel the mold is more accurate, though. It might just be hard to use an existing color for his hair. The one they used is too bright, and this one is a bit too light. Interesting idea! I'd like to see that combo as well.

I'm thinking Beetlejuice's hair could be very useful to substitute Joker's from TDK. Has anyone tried this?

@Quicksilver838 Thanks for that pic. It looks amazing. I look forward to trying to get that TRU minifig pack! I also echo the feelings of others and hope that this isn't the face for Green Arrow. No versions so far have the iconic goatee! -

To me it would be a waste because since we'll never have all the Batman suits from the movie, I'd like to see Lego maximize the number of suits they make. I wouldn't mind if they rerealeased these as a polybag or gave them a wider release, but I think a great thing about CMFs is the opportunity to get new minifigures, and I'd hate to see that opportunity be wasted. Some people here articulated this better than I have. -

I stand corrected! On the bright side it is a rare case. I reaaally hope they don't waste 4 CMF slots like that. -

I don't think there's a precedent for a CMF being a repeat of a previous minifigure. I hope that rumor is false, for the reasons stated above! -

The bad clutch between the slope piece and the torso is an issue many figures have. It's just not designed to be used with a torso. The hip piece does a better job than regular studs to keep a figure together. I keep hoping they make a special slope piece for minifigures. -

Wouldn't pink power Batgirl's cape be a better match? I know it has the funny texture, but it seems closer to the right tone to me. -

Awww man, it's a shame those capes come folded in such a way. I try to keep my capes as nice as possible. -

I'm glad I didn't panic when I saw the news and remained a bit skeptic. It just seemed odd that Lego would contradict themselves in such a way. Well, here's hoping they keep selling the Saturn-V until I get rid of my debt. -

I'm soooo excited for these, especially Easter Bunny suit Batman! I almost can't believe we are finally getting him. Too bad he doesn't come with his pink cape. Luckily there's Pink Power Batgirl's cape, so I think I'll just get a spare one and give him that, although I don't think it's the exact same tone. Also psyched to get the Spartan Bat! And that green suit Batman is right on the money! I also love the detailing on the magician suit; it's wizard... -

I wholeheartedly agree. A lot of the HP figures came out during a time in which Lego's minifigure designs were not as refined, and could use significant updates.- 8,371 replies
