    That's a pretty exhaustive list! All of that would be awesome. I think there is great potential in an X-Mansion set. It probably hasn't been done because of this whole licensing ordeal, but it's one of those rare super hero potential sets in the hundred dollar range. I'd probably get it in a heartbeat.

    Now that the FF and X-men rights in almost all likelihood will go back to Marvel given the purchase of Fox, I am wondering when we might see one of these long overdue characters in Lego form. Previously Marvel did not license as much merchandise for these properties given that part of the profits went to Fox. Once the deal closes (first half of 2019, according to several reports), this should not prevent that possibility anymore. Realistically, though, since Marvel sets are so focused on the MCU, we might have to wait for one of these characters to pop up on the big screen, which might make us wait to 2021. I am just waiting for the moment in which I can have all FF and main X-men minifigures!

    That sounds like a stock response to me. Also the "we aren't making it anymore" phrasing suggests to me that the person writing the message thought the set was one of the old packs. Personally I would not worry yet.

    How hard would it be to complete the castle? Does it seem likely that it could be done by buying two of these? I'd really like a full castle.

    This is kinda crazy. Given the price increase and the fact that this is a big series, it will cost $4.5*22 = $99 to complete. Compare that to the $2*16 = $32 that it cost to complete S1 or S2 back in the day. Amazing.

    I had never noticed that its packaging actually does say "exclusive". Interesting. Usually when they release SDCC figs that are going to appear elsewhere they omit the word "exclusive" (look at 2014's Bard). I wouldn't count on it to keep happening, though. The idea of exclusives is for them to be unique to the giveaway, and it seems those are Lego's intentions by the public statements they have made. I'd love to get my hands on all of these as much as the next guy, but it really is unlikely considering the whole idea is for them to be unique.

    They can't do that. It would defeat the exclusivity of a figure they described as exclusive. I think in the future we will not see exclusive variants of such popular characters, but those already released are water under the bridge.

    I'm also thinking about getting another Graves. I'm concerned it might be a headache, though, especially given that Brickseek is of no help anymore to find CMFs early.

    I'm extremely happy to see this theme come back. That having been said I am not looking forward to more of those creepy-eyed Clone Wars figures, but I don't mind since I already have most of the characters I want in regular minifigure form.

    I decided to use an eBay coupon I had and buy myself a set of HP CMFs in advance. I wanted to avoid the headache of looking for Percival Graves, given how much of a struggle it is to find policemen. I guess that means I'll have to wait a little longer, which is a little hard with these little gems.

    Yeah, what's up with Bricklink prices? Minifigs are way too expensive. I remember them being more affordable, but maybe my memory doesn't serve me well. Lately I have just been buying sets at discounts and the price is close (sometimes even less) than Bricklinking the figures. Not even worth the effort anymore except for big sets.

    I'd actually love to see a World Cup CMF series where each team gets a minifig. Heck, they're 32 teams, so it works nicely with the 16 minifig series if they only took the teams from the round of 16.

    I apologize if this had already been settled, but are there any rumors regarding another set for JP, or is this likely all we'll get? I am really surprised they haven't given us the classic JP jeep yet.

    I agree 100%. This is disappointing. Previously they seemed to cater the distributions so that people could have a better chance at getting the figs they wanted. Now it looks like they are just trying to exploit collectability... Like others I am now considering getting myself a box, because I have had hell trying to find a policeman and I don't want to have to go through this again!

    It works that I don't really have money to spend on Lego right now. It forces me to buy these later and wait for some discounts. Nonetheless I'm jealous of all of you that have already gotten your hands on these sets!

    Cool Mech, if you are into that sort of thing. Personally I am relieved that they finally gave Flash dual-molded legs. Hopefully that means they won't be as tight on a budget next year and that we'll see some more detailed minifigs.

    Love the idea of getting the classic spacemen in new colors. I doubt we'll get this set but I supported it regardless! I am #901.

    aclego.03 on Instagram is claiming these were cancelled and might only be released in Canada. Does anyone have more info or know if they are a reliable source?
