  1. There is a Facebook group with Star Wars collectors which you could use to garner interest. There is even a guy who bought a gold 3PO and is looking for the other metal figures. It's this one: https://www.facebook.com/groups/257818974402353/ Also I'm sure the owner of minifigpriceguide.com would love to see if he can get the figure from you. Personally unless someone gives you an insane offer, I'd put it for sale on a place for eBay and gather interest from as many people as possible. Recently there was a George Lucas minifig for sale and it garnered quite a bit of attention. I'm sure there is a good number of fans with deep pockets who would love to give you good offers for this guy. If I recall correctly the George Lucas minifig was sold by around 11K. Good luck! Before you part ways with this guy, though, make sure to take as many pics as you can. Feel free to share some HD pics with the community from different angles.
  2. Snoke looks pretty disgusting. Looks like Lego did a good job!
  3. I'd say he looks better than what a regular Ares minifig would have looked like. Personally I like it very much even though I haven't been able to pick the set up yet.
  4. This game is hilarious! 80 votes. Surely that has broken a record. Oh well. We'll see what happens. I wouldn't be surprised if we're stuck here for a week.
  5. The converse is just as true with those who voted for the diver. Actually the scarecrow beat a lot of figures I like, but I vote for him because he's great and I'm tired of historical/fantasy minifigs winning disproportionately, so I almost never vote for them.
  6. Close one, but ultimately the scarecrow for me. He's my best choice among the minifigs that haven't been eliminated yet.
  7. I agree with this sentiment. If SDCC gives us obscure figures that would still be exciting for die hard fans, then at least some people are getting the figures. Hopefully they make enough that the prices don't become insane (looking at you SDCC 2013).
  8. Aw man I really want this guy. Too bad these are mostly unobtainable. I'll try my luck on Twitter!
  9. Diver, Scarecrow, you're my only hope! Go Diver! I just placed you one vote behind that darn Satyr!
  10. Cool character, although I'm disappointed that so far it doesn't look like we'll be getting homemade suit Spider-Man in any form, shape, or way. Can't wait to see how they make his beak.
  11. Honestly you should keep in mind that whenever cyclic stress is applied to a material over a long time, microcracks can develop into cracks and make it fail by fatigue. If you do it often enough, probably swapping out legs out and back into a minifigure torso can crack it. So if you want to be 100% that your figures won't suffer that fate, you have to avoid playing with them as much as possible. If you want to enjoy them more fully, then the possibility of fatigue is something that you should accept.
  12. I agree with most of what you say. Although to me the diver is more of a city minifigure, same for the scarecrow, so I'll be happy as long as one of them makes it to the final. Speaking of which, the scarecrow here is the superior minifigure to me, even if I am salty that he has eliminated some figures I liked. I hold few grudges on this game, so go scarecrow!
  13. Looks like Lego Marvel 2 will have Spidey in his home-made suit as a playable character. Makes me feel even more disappointed that we're not getting him in a set (unless you are about to surprise us, please Lego!)
  14. I'd love to see the best figure from a theme go at it with the best figure from another theme.
  15. I was not aware of the original source. Thank you!
  16. I'm happy that by combining this and the previous cyborg one can get a full pearl silver minifigure body. Someone posted more pics here:
  17. Thanks Captain Nemo. I think most of us here understand the importance of keeping confidential images out of here, so your point is taken. Again, I don't really know enough about the member's case, since I did not follow every single one of his posts, but if this was a first offense, I personally feel banning goes a little too far. Granted, again, I don't know if he was responsive in the chamber, so I can't entirely vouch for him. I'd just hope that people would get second chances for any first mistakes on Eurobricks, assuming they show the intention of making them right.
  18. A StudHat? That would make me sad to see the final have no theme diversity whatsoever.
  19. Woah! Guess I should count myself lucky that I found the discount seemingly on the day it started. Just because I sometimes wait for discounts on large sets, any clue as to which sets can be discounted and which can't?
