Is your issue that you can't buy from US stores? Because if so my sources will probably be no good to you, but I will leave these here anyways in case someone can use the recommendation: https://www.clearbags.com/2-x-3-ldpe-clear-zip-bags-100-pieces-2pe23.html http://www.gtzip.com/ziplock/P2pz.html# Personally I've made the switch successfully to polypropylene. (Wow this thread is now quite old!). At least with the bags above, there are a couple of things to note: 1. They are really clear, which means your minifigs look better (i.e. the colors look brighter and less dull) when in storage. 2. They tend to be less deformable, so that folding them can cause them to become almost unusable if that kind of thing bothers you. Also this means that they constrain more minifigure capes and deform them more eventually, which may or may not bother you. 3. They pick up a lot of static, so they pick up dust and lint more easily. 4. Since they are so clear, fingerprints on them can be a nuissance. Overall I am happy with the change. It also got me the chance to photograph a bunch of my minifigs. I think my collection looks better and safer now. I think I might use polyethylene for figures that have capes and require more flexible bags, but it is my understanding that that material is less clear, so I am sticking with polypropylene for the majority of my figures.

I would say this series met my expectations satisfactorily, but not exceedingly. These are nice figures. I think I'll get an extra of the Rocket guy to display. Also I'm a fan of the police officer. I've long been aware of the signifcance of the 600 set and I'm happy to see it getting an homage. Also I might have an unpopular opinion but I really like the figures with objects on their waists. They are wacky and I love it! The party figures themselves are not my favorite aside from the clown, but they look very nice regardless. Overall a worthy addition to the collection in my opinion. I don't mind this special series but I understand some will be disappointed to not get any regular series this year. Hopefully we'll get one next year, peeps!

Harry Potter 2018 - Rumors & Discussion

Preach! I started collecting HP figures late, so I have very few and only the main ones. Many of the minor characters are hard to get a hold of because some of them had a more limited distribution. I'd welcome this opportunity to triple my HP minifigure collection!- 8,371 replies

I have missed most of this game because life happens, but when I saw this was the final round, I decided to return and cast my vote. While I am disappointed to see once again fantasy figures being overrepresented in the final rounds of the game, such is the voice of the users of Eurobricks, and I shall give my support to the mighty elf!

Storage and Sorting LEGO
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Hinckley's topic in General LEGO Discussion
For minifigures and other things that I put in long term storage, I use airtight polypropylene bags. They are chemically inert and museums use them to store paper. If you do not use a chemically inert material, there are no guarantees that you won't get unpleasant chemical reactions in the future. Airtight vs non airtight can be a contentious issue. I prefer airtight to guard against humidity and mold, but I've heard people say that not giving the contents breathing space could be worse because it doesn't let out any gas that might be generated in time. The main issue is that food bags are not really designed for long-term storage. I think bins are and therefore most of them will be fine. -

The back of the IW Spidey figure is leaked on Instagram. Awesome back printing, even though it looks weird without the dual molded legs.- 3,962 replies

Amazing figures! But why is Lego taking a step back from dual molded legs? :(- 3,962 replies

I agree. Personally I'm just waiting for the Flintstones project to get the extra 3000 votes it needs. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. -

For some reason I'm really excited to be getting Superman's hairpiece in white. I am very excited for 3/4 of these guys, and will gladly pick up the filler as well. -

The old one has grown on me throughout the years. Having the new one on an MCU Iron Man would not represent the MCU shape as well, in my opinion.- 3,962 replies

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
1980-Something-Space-Guy replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
That Bat Space shuttle is a must have for me!!!! And these figures are amazing! Although... Curse you, whoever came up with stud shooters! I think that after this wave I will have been mostly satisfied with the figure lineup. Mostly I regret us missing some batsuits (which I'm starting to think might have been intentionally omitted to avoid nationalism in the figs), and I think they could've made a good Phantom Zone set. This wave has given us some fun builds and awesome figures. I wish more super heroes got this treatment, but we all know Batman is Lego's favorite, and I can't blame them! -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

To those who don't understand the hate, well, I don't necessarily share all of the hate, but I think mainly some people are disappointed of the potential this series had and that it felt short of what it could have been. I think about 3/4 of the figures I don't have complaints about, but some of the vacation or FaF figures feel like wasted spots when there were so many awesome Batsuits that did not get made. That having been said all the figures are very well designed (my only complaint being the absence of Gleek) and I will be happily picking up a full set. I am glad for those who are completely happy with this series, though! I was about to say the same thing. The FaF figures in this series might make people want to buy the Joker Manor. -
The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Given the figures that we already knew in this series, I got a bit disappointed when I saw the pamphlet. I feel like the second row is mostly filler (although I do really like Vacation Joker, controversies aside). So 4 vacation figures, plus FaF Harley and Merbat, feel like wasted slots to me... That is 6 slots, and 3 could have been easily taken up by St. Batrick's, Batriot, and Mariachi. Also no Batman Beyond... I will say that I am glad that we will be completing the villain lineup. Strange, Phosphorus, Killer Moth, and Clock King look really good. I am happy about the Wonder Twins but like others I am disappointed that they left the monkey out of it. Come on! I might pick up customs for the Batsuits that we won't ever get. -

At first I thought, is Lego really going to waste a minifigure spot with a fart joke? Then I looked up the suit, and realized there's nothing that alludes too strongly to that on the suit... Still feels like a waste because it doesn't really look like a Batman suit and it doesn't really seem to be that detailed. We'll see. If this info is correct (and I'd love to find said list but have been unable to so far), I'll be very happy to be getting the Batriot, St. Batrick's, and the Mariachi. Those are on my wanted list and it would be awesome to pick them up for $3.99.
