I was about to say these would never happen, but considering how much lego is throwing at crappy expensive licensed D2C sets I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we got something like this. Only we would be the people the sets are supposed to appeal to. Still struggling to find the audience for those 2 new marvel sets. They're cool, but who are they actually for? Dream set would be an A-Wing scale Samson, from the first film. Would look amazing on a shelf or mounted on a wall. maybe at about £200 id actually consider getting this.

Would absolutely love to see more RDA stuff, despite being the "bad guys", really the whole reason they're out there millions of miles from home and risking their lives on a hostile alien world is to save a dying planet and their species. Sure, their methods aren't exactly ethical but considering they're pretty desperate, their multiple humanitarian and ecological crimes can be overlooked. Also they have the coolest freaking tech in any sci-fi movie, bar maybe the Alien series. The sea wasp, the heavy Samson from the trailer, the submarine and the crab suit all look amazing so far. I know lego wants to focus on the hero's of the movie but id love to see more of the human side. Hopefully the sell out of the RDA Samson and site 26 set will show its worth to lego. a page from the new art book for way of the water also shows of a "sea dragon" vehicle, looks to be 1 man submarine not unlike the skirmisher from the black panther 2 throne room set, it looks very intresting. Cameron is really coming through with my favourite part of the franchise, the tech!

Yep, it was leaked back last year with the instructions portal. It is gonna be continuing as it was also confirmed by set designers, it’s just a shame the sets are so hard to get a hold of. I don’t like buying from Lego.com because the delivery’s slow, sets are pricy at full price and the GWP aren’t usually good enough. some sets are on sale currently so if you want to get them you can, but my budget doesn’t permit it now. Mei’s car, the lion disco battle and the drone copter are on sale now.

Interesting, wonder if they will show up at my local toy store. I doubt I’ll grab the bigger sets at full price but I wouldn’t be opposed to getting the AMP suit set.

Yep, honestly I kind of hope that we get normal golden jay over the dragon form, much easier to grab the bike than the Sam-X mech. Anyone in the UK who’s interested in the Kai raider should check eBay. There’s a couple on there for about 60-70 quid, a decent price considering the extortionate price of £90 Lego themselves are currently asking. I do not understand how they think that thing is worth that amount of money. Managed to grab a sealed copy for £60 which is great, but waiting for it to turn up. Are we good to talk about spoilers here or shall we leave it for a bit (under the spoiler tab obviously)? Kind of wild to think that something that has been such a big part of my life is now gone, for now at least. There’s already rumours of the next instalment.

Thats good to hear! However we do also have some bad news, apparently lego has uploaded up 24 episodes on their YouTube channel in a different language, which you know, is kinda awful. Beware of spoilers! Lego is really ruining this season with their release schedule.

Episode 15 is now out in English. I am honestly really disappointed with myself, please for the love of god to all who see this, do not watch it on a crappy camcorder recording. This episode is truly one of the bests, and the fact that so much time and effort was put into it all for the first viewing on my end to be some shaky awful audio version, it’s kinda heartbreaking. I implore all of you to wait to watch this episode when it comes out in better quality, as save for 1 part, it is perhaps the best crystalized episode so far. Absolutely amazing work.

Not just the writing but the show in general. Sure there are cheesy bits as its meant for the kids, but I honestly believe that this show is one of the greatest cartoons to come out of western television. The music in particular is absurdly good and I wish people would give it a chance. If crystallised leaned way in on the whole "dark, gritty, mature" theming from the oni trilogy I think it would be just downright awesome. But theres something thats holding it back, thats just too cartoony. The Netflix release is another thing. We know that so many people put so much hard work into the show and it all gets wasted by a crappy camcorder recording of a Chinese version with an English dub that releases out of nowhere. Its awful, and its all because the higher-ups dont want it released. I do see the appeal of releasing it later though. Now the set prices have gone up, they may make an extra quick buck now that the vehicles get shown off much more prominently in the show. I know ill probably want to pick up the bigger vehicles now that they are used in the show, thats kinda what the whole point of the show was. But still, I enjoy if for what its worth, and I'm loving the whole crystal look. I just hope we get more episodes soon in a better recording.

Talk about an oversight..... but yes, I agree, I'd like to get the council members in mag gifts, however if we are going through the dragon ninja right now, plus the crystal king himself, I'm not really sure if there will be space. I will have to check how many foil packs we get for each season. Part of me is hoping to get Harumi now, although she's not a hard figure to make. The new episodes are starting to drop in shocking quality, but at least they are in English. I think this seasons biggest flaw is the 10 min episode runtime, they could have benefitted from a 20 min upgrade. But so far, part 2 looks damn well amazing, its a shame I don't think I'll be picking up any more sets, especially with the new price increases. My local toyshop is almost sold out of lego in general apart from the crystallised sets, due to them putting the prices up weeks before they actually went up. I'm hoping I can grab some of the sets on half off when they eventually go on sale. I really do want to get the crystal king mech and the temple set but they're way out of my current budget.

Oh course! I have him sat with Kai on my desk, I was under the impression he was also in a magazine. I wonder who will be next then. If we go by the suspected pattern, it’ll be a dragon ninja and maybe harumi? Either that or a crystal warrior, which I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what we get given the prevalence in other sets. I’m honestly pretty happy that we have only 1 faction for this wave, I get sick of when we have multiple factions like in prime empire where I ended up with a ton of rats and like 2 red visors. Well, just went on Lego.com this morning to check the damages, and it’s bad. All of the sets that went up where not predicted to go up, and some of these are downright insane. Ninjago city gardens is now £300, up from £260, the hydro bounty and golden ultra dragon are both now £130, up from £125 (sucks because I was on the fence getting the dragon but oh well, money saved I guess) and possibly worst of all, the Kai raider and ultra combo mech are now £90, up from £75. The Kai raider I was prepared for, but all data showed it wasn’t going up. But the combo mech? The one EVO set I still need to get? £90?!? And the temple didn’t change either. This isn’t good. Other sets include all £55 sets are now £60. One last note, Sam X mech is up £105 from £100, a little disappointing.

As predicted, next magazine gift is the crystal king himself! Surprised that dragon jay wasn’t it to round out the ninja but he is in the cheapest set. Sadly without the cool dark grey armour from the crystal king set as well.

Bets on more tech snakes? They seems a pretty versatile bunch and I wouldn’t be surprised if we get 2 new variants for this wave. I’d love to see some more and have more of them. Hoping they are the villains of the new series next year, they’d be a good base villain to start off and I’d like to get some lore on them.

Playing devils advocate here, I agree we need more Nya sets. But we did just have a freaking massive mech in the latest wave.

Agreed, although im kinda bummed there isn't a mid range price point. I was really hoping they do the scorpion-Samson hybrid chopper we see in the teaser, but I don't really think it fits in any of the price ranges. I guess 80 could work with a smaller side build, but then that may be muscling in on the current RDA site 26 set. As for what else we can expect, I'm not sure. We know little about the movies contents due to no official trailer, but from what we have seen, maybe a final battle type sort of set at the 100 dollar price point, with 2 water banshees (no clue what they are) and some RDA boats? Either that or the floating crescent looking things in that cove? Im hoping the 25 dollar set is that crab mech that we saw in concept art, I would love to get it and its been out on the internet for a while now. But it is concept art, so who knows if it will even show up in the final film? As for the 35 dollar set, I'm clueless. Really hoping they don't down size the Samson. As much as I hate to say it, I despise the current version. Its absolutely minuscule compared to what it should be. Side note, is anyone gonna go see the re-release of the OG avatar in cinemas on the 23rd? Cant wait to be able to experience it on the big screen, I know my crappy old laptop doesn't do the film justice.

Set names for next year have dropped, a Titan mech for jay, a mech bike for kai, a thunder jet, a $100 ice dragon and the ninja brick box. I can’t wait for this, I loved the core wave from this year, the big sets where amazing, and I can’t wait to see what they do with a massive ice dragon and another Titan mech, I hope we see mechs for all the ninja now. We got Lloyd zane and jay, now we just need kai Cole and Nya. No mention of the Nya bike sadly. Do we have thread for next year yet?

Why? It comes in the figure pack. I don’t really see why else it would be annoying, since it only costs {insert currency of your country}, which is way cheaper than the set. The builds are usually what sell me on sets but if I have the chance to get it for 11 times less than I’m taking it. I’m aware the part is kinda hard to get in gold, but it’s not to annoying. The only other reason I see this being annoying is that the gold doesn’t match with the other suits, but I do think it helps by showing the leader of the team and it also looks good with the gold accents. just taken a look at the leaked clip from Ep 13 again, seems Lloyd uses the GMG colour shoulder armour. I see why it’s off putting now, but I also still Think it compliments the golden tatters on the suit. It also doesn’t look bad IRL with the GMG shoulder armour, though as I said before, I think the gold is better.

Just picked up the new magazine for Lloyd, luckily I've got the season 11 titan mech (an incredible set) which was the only other set to include the green mask with the dark green band and golden L, although the one in the crystal king mech set has a different part ID, ending in 25 rather than 19. Still looks the same so no complaints. I absolutely love the fugitive suits, and although im not sure Lloyds newest attire counts as a fugitive suit, but its off the same base design. I'm gonna grab the crystal king set at some point, but it gets less and less likely with the incoming price increases, so I'm gonna grab what I can now. Dragon zane is next up, does anyone know what the next figure will be? I have a feeling its either gonna be the king himself or one of the generals. I not expecting another ninja now.

Oh of course! It’s sat in my shelf staring at me on the bone demon. Well in that case yeah, I don’t really see why we get another trans blue chain. I guess in the show the weapons are de powered, but in MOTO the golden weapons are reforged and we see the blue lightning between the 2 nunchucks(?), so I can see why your all questioning why we don’t have one.

Trans blue would require a different plastic mix, and considering how flexible the chains have to be, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was another brittle brown situation. But that’s just me playing devils advocate. I do also really want trans blue chains, I mean they’ve already done trans green and trans orange with the hunted and prime empire waves, why not trans blue?

We already do have leaks of the wave, it will be a core wave, so no spoilers for crystalized. General stuff, Cole’s car, zanes dragon, a ninja brick box and a mech rider? What ever that last one is meant to be. Honestly After picking up a couple of the core sets on sale I really enjoy this theme, especially the non EVO sets. The temple is a gorgeous build and the Lloyd dragon looks so amazing, so I’m excited to see what they do. Only thing I’m not a fan of is the flashy figs and weird colours, but I can live with that. does anyone know if we got a follow up for some of those riddles? I’m curious if the one about “it all started with him, now he swings over the trees and mountains” got confirmed. What even does that mean?

I don’t know what Lego is doing with their show, honestly it’s a disaster compared to how part 1 was marketed. We have an official release window of early October on Netflix, however it could appear on a random tv channel before that (but don’t get your hopes up). You’d think that Lego would release their summer season in summer, wouldn’t you?

Since 2011 apparently….. speaking of ice, dragon zane is gonna be the next Ninjago minifigure. Hopefully this means we get all of them! I am hoping we get little nelson from the Sam-x mech, I need more of that face print with the mask!

We got 2023 set names! More core by the sounds of it, in a very cryptic post from promo bricks. Seems like a lot of evo mechs. We have so far: 71781 lloyds mech battle, 71783 kais mech rider and perhaps the most intresting set, 71787 ninjago brick box. My best guess so far is the mech battle will be a mech double pack between Lloyd and a geo whipper snake, ninja brick box could be something like queen whatevers box from TLM2 and kais mech rider may be a vehicle for a mech, sort of like those old giant bionical vehicles, like the flying engine or motor bike. Very interesting, but at the same time very dull. Excited to see what the flagship set will be, as this years one was incredible. This is also pretty good on the regards that we won't get spoilers for crystallised, however on the flip side we also won't get any new ninjago content until next summer. The October release for crystallised seems a lot more reasonable now. So yeah, no legacy. kinda sad on that, it seems its kicked the bucket. I was looking forward to getting more deep stone ninja. other sets we may get if the riddles can be solved look to be a Lloyd jet and a Nya bike.

Does anyone have any more pictures from comic con on the avatar sets? They look pretty good in person, and I noticed that there was a tag with a QR code next to each set. They had the words "pre order" on them, and I'm wondering if we could get some better pics or videos, and scan them. I'm wondering if theres an exclusive comic con pre order thing, its unlikely, but the sets had the tags, including the 3 sets that aren't currently available for preorder. Most likely is that it just goes to The LEGO.com page for the sets, but I'm curious. the 3 sets that had the tags but aren't on preorder are the site 26 and Samson, the brickheadz and the mech vs thanitor. Side note: Has anyone here actually preordered any of the 2 sets available? I'm thinking of picking up the tree of souls set but it looks like the tree itself bends pretty bad in person due to the leaf pieces being used to support all the antennas. Edit: Yeah it looks like it says "add set to Wishlist" for the 3 sets. Oh well. cant wait to see them in person!
