Either way it’s very impressive and he’s a great YouTuber, someone who is very passionate about Lego and I enjoy seeing his vids. I’d be very proud of having anything close to that scale. Does anyone have any info on MK soundtracks? Hopefully we get a release soon.

Just finished watching @DuckBricks mega review, thank you so much for the insight into the new wave. I am loving the combi mech and also the fact that it does come with the mecha-kid figure that I was gonna get from brick link. The modularity of the hideout also makes it a day one buy, and I like the theories presented about how this will tie into the plot for season 4. I have noticed in your video and in other LAN member videos that there are parts of the monkie kid soundtrack in the background, which im hoping you can provide some clarity about how you got it? i've been searching for the soundtrack and have emailed wild bark and the DA office, who apparently made the music, and have had no reply from either. I really think one of the best parts abut monkie kid is the shows soundtracks, and its a shame there isn't a full release, which I have been pushing for for some time. Would you be able to tell us anything about it, if it's getting released or if it's a LAN thing? Again, thank you for the review, I'm glad to see one of the few large lego youtubers get their hands on monkie kid, especially someone who is so passionate about the line.

Alright enough about the great avatar argument of 2022, Where did you find the set? Glad to hear that its good, I'm personally really looking forward to it. Have you seen the movie yet, so you can compare it to the actual creature (no spoilers!)? Personally I'm happy this is going the monkie kid route, started of expensive but is now getting cheaper. The sub is the one I'm stuck on the most, for £50 it doesn't look worth it in the slightest but ill definetly pick up the ilu and skim-wing at some point, and if quaritch and spider have as big of a presence as I think they do in the film I may consider it. Its a massive miss that these sets didn't release in December, or better yet, today, to coincide with the movie release. I can guarantee I probably would have picked up half the wave right after seeing the movie, but ill see how I feel about it after Sunday. I understand the skim wing can be preordered and the reef but no other sets?

Im sorry to see you go. I hope you understand that not all of us are this expressive, and I can definelty see both sides of the story. I think the main thing is after years of getting beat down by the avatar hate train we are kinda just sick of people continuously hating on the franchise, and thus people do get protective. This isn't completely your fault, I'm all for opinions being expressed and honestly im sick of this back and forth megablocks arguing. But Algrispa does raise a valid point, I've seen some reviews call the plot bland but I dont really care, and thats not really the point of the film. Avatar in the first place was meant to be a place to escape, and visuals play a bigger part than plot. Im seeing it on Sunday after I had to change plans, and I personally cant wait to see it, so ill judge it there and then. Sorry about your experience here, but I hope you can find more enjoyment elsewhere.

Yeah, I’m not one to take sides usually but Cameron has specifically said that if it can be connected to a movie like that in this way, that’s not a bad thing, but moreover shows how he created what he wanted and this is why it’s a good story. I’ll have to find the exact Reddit thread, but movies being copies of other media is nothing new. So why does avatar get the hate? I am curious what you think of the sets then @Murdoch17, why bother spreading hate for the movie if you like the sets, and if it’s the other hand, why would you join a forum to talk about the sets If you hate them? It’s fine to give opinions about the sets, and it’s fine to say that you dislike them. Then we can move on. But all this arguing over this business is boring. Again, no hate to you. You have your own personal opinion and that’s fine, but I’m curious to why you bother convincing people like me that avatar will flop, when it’s pretty clear that almost all of us here love the films and will see the new one?

Yeah. Waiting for all reviews to come out then I’m gonna speak my thoughts, but so far, it’s a very solid wave. I love every set and the combo mech and the hideout are locked in as day one buys.

Also going to see it day one, cannot wait. From the spoiler free reviews apparently theres one thing in the movie that was hyped up in all the trailers and just didn't do anything in the actual film, I'm praying to god that its not the sea dragon. It looks amazing, but considering the presence and we know what will happen to it from the trailers, it may be the reason why we didn't actually get a set on it. That and the fact its freaking enormous. Still excited for this film though, and the music too. Apparently the song is releasing tomorrow, made by the weekend of all people. How fitting for a Friday movie release. it is a real shame the sets are releasing in January as well, i have a feeling hype may have died off by then. hopefully not. As for wether it will flop or not, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and im cautiously optimistic. I dont want to overhype myself and be disappointed for the big day. Can we also unanimously agree on no spoilers unless its specified and under the covered tab? This page is gonna be a flurry of activity soon, as will a lot of avatar related pages across the web, and I dont want to be dodging spoilers if something comes up and I have to reschedule.

Yeah, seems todays the day on the embargo for the mech atleast. I love this set, but the price is just too high and I’m planning on getting the hideout and combi mech day one. No room in the budget. But I’m glad we are getting Tang (still no normal design god damn it!) and the rest of the figs look very good. Thanks for enlightening us on what the faceprint actually is, I just thought he was crying. Overall the mech is good, I love the futuristic industrial stickers but the size and weight of it is impressive but also off putting. I’ve seen in some video reviews it shakes around a lot, and if I’m being honest the staff is the worst part about this set. I really think Lego needs to develop a new system for mech weapons, maybe a special hilt that gives mechs a wide range of customisation and unity. Want the staff to go on a Ninjago mech? No problem. Want this massive brick built cross bow to go on a MK mech? You got it! Obviously there’s a lot of problems, structural integrity and repetition of different mechs are the obvious. Overall it’s a good set but for that price I can’t justify it. Everything else is amazing though.

Got that whipper army on the rise as well… Also they still have nitro packs lying around? I’ve been meaning to get another for the goggles for a while, where did you find so many of the magizine? They’re often limited to like 1 per shop where I am. Good luck with the army!

Yep. Lloyd is December, dragon Cole is jan, garmadon is February and dragon jay is March. Wonder what’s next? Also I love how they have completed the dragon set. Now I don’t need to get the small bike unless I want the build.

I know, inaccessibility is the main thing stopping me from getting MK sets. Planning on an order jan first to get the hideout and the combi mech, maybe the jet as well if my budget allows. As I understand it’s now been confirmed that MK has been pulled from major Lego stores, although there may be some in flagship stores like the Leicester Square one in London. I hope it does go to Amazon UK at some point, it sucks big time that it’s exclusive to US.

Poly bag is revealed, actually looks very good, monkie king looks nice and the stalls alright. I hope it’s available jan 1st, I don’t want to have to wait 15 days to place an order.

Minifig pack would be amazing but I think the RC race is still available, so it’s probably a polybag. What could they do though for one? Last year (or this year I guess) we got the underwater journey, so hopefully this one is a summer teaser.

Sets are on Lego . Com. Best wave yet, hands down. Sorry 2021 monkie kid. Cheap sets, stellar figs, amazing builds. And the hide out is just £90! I hope that doesn’t change, the backside looks good as well. Armour MK in the small mech too. This is amazing. Dragon jet looks way better now that I know it does combine.

Wow this wave is such a love letter to fans. The smallest sets are obviously cheap, something I’ve been wanting forever, and the mech set looks to have the exo-armoured MK from the fire ring( can only see his head so the rest of him may be exclusive), which is amazing as I was gonna get that set just for him. Dragon jet looks really weak, just a flying box with some wings, hopefully it has a feature, but it’s cheap so I can get it. Mech also has the connecting pins for the other shops and buildings, love that. Yellow tusk elephant mech is amazing, such a chima esq build and I think it looks so cool, completely armoured up. I hope it has some more features. And finally, the hide out. Wow, I’m seeing so many references. Same technique used on meis house as the original dragon jet wings, there’s a less futuristic version of pigsys noodles, MKs bike is an obvious callback to his delivery bike promo, and the temple itself looks like it could fit seamlessly with flower fruit mountain. I love it, even if it isn’t a container base. The villains look really cool, I like the side builds but I’m gonna need more context with box art for some of them. I love this whole wave, weakest sets are probably a tie between the giant mech and the dragon jet, everything else is top tier.

Sets revealed, someone needs to make the 2023 page. 2 £20 sets???? Lego is listening! And they all look amazing! The team hide out is beautiful, the elephant looks great, the dragon jet is alright, and the small mech is so good!

Agreed on the Kai car, I absolutely love it and it’s got great parts. Currently with this core line we now have 1 dragon for each ninja, obviously sizes vary, with zane and Lloyd now being the top dogs (or dragons?), and the smallest being Nya and jay. On the other hand, we also now have Titan mechs for all the ninja as well. Zane has his legacy mech, Nya has her Sam-X mech, Cole and Kai are said to share the Firestone mech (personally I’m not a fan of this, but it completes the set) and Lloyd has his SOTFS mech, and finally jay has his Titan mech in the new wave. Overall, this wave is pretty good at completing things.

On brickset and legos official page. As these are 2023 sets, remember to use the 2023 forum guys. But yeah, they look amazing. that mech is gonna be a hit.

Nyas dragon is goofy as hell, and the 2 £9 sets are very good. I love kais car. The mech rider is a really nice build but the price drags it down, I just think the £40 price point doesn't fit at all for ninjago. The ice dragon is a great looking dragon, and the £90 price seems fair enough, training grounds is alright but unless theres more parts off to the side that aren't shown in official pics, it looks way to expensive for what you get. Coles dragon looks horrible now IMO, the front legs are way to low for it to work, gonna need some modding. Mech battle looks alright, Lloyd fig is really good. jays mech is amazing, I love its gangly appearance and the possibility looks impressive. Cant wait for these sets now
