  1. Just got back from a trip to my Bestseller PAB parts having arrived, which is great. But sadly, no pirate cove GWP in the box, but it did include the Halloween polybag GWP and the small set I ordered to ensure I got the GWP. Bit miffed, but a small post on here is cathartic, and I'll call them later on the off-chance they have any left.
  2. Another vote here for faces with expressions. I've swapped all my classic smileys for modern faces, except in classic space figures.
  3. They've posted a picture of the Ninjago modulars on the Black Friday page, so there's a chance it gets discounted during the VIP weekend before Black Friday, or the Black Friday weekend.
  4. If they had reversed the release order, I suspect it may have been a success. Even better, remove the app and it would have been great. Starting with just figures, or overpriced cubes, and then only releasing sets with builds later was so stupid. The cancelled set list looks even better than the sets we got. What a shame.
  5. Great video, and good points. I think it's great, and will definitely be getting it. I wouldn't have got it if it were a shelf display piece only.
  6. I had half a dozen LBG pieces crack on a Parisian Restaurant modular, but it's a small proportion of the LBG pieces in the set, and it's the only time it's ever happened. Oh, and one or two small ball joint clips that have cracked, but that might be the nature of the piece.
  7. Yes, great potential to MOC a new base for it. And then it might be taller than the Titanic is long!
  8. It looks really good, and I like that they've managed to get horizontal windows, rather than the angled windows that many of the MOCs tend to have. It looks like it's going to be five floors tall on the inside though, and the 12 brick high floors just feel too tall for a LEGO building. The Daily Bugle already feels like it's ceiling heights are way too tall, and these will be taller again. At least they're not really shallow like the Daily Bugle. But from the outside it looks terrific, and with the bulk of the landing pad up top it's going to have a very satisfying presence. Looking forward to seeing more.
  9. Given the size of the coaches, will a single motor likely have enough traction to pull them all, do you think, or would it need to double up? Some of the photoshop mods are already making me think that two sets combined gives you four coaches and enough parts to mod the locomotive to have better proportions. But also, I DEFINITELY DON'T NEED a 2m long train!
  10. There is a 3x3x1 facet brick that I need for a Rebrickable MOC that, when planning for, I wasn't looking forward to, as it was only available in white from the original Eldorado fortress and a few other old sets, so it was about $10 per brick. But the new Eldorado Fortress has it, and it's appeared on PAB (out of stock though) for only 20c. Hurrah!
  11. Agreed. It can be pretty harsh. FWIW, I really like it and think it looks terrific. The locomotive feels a bit small compared to the coaches, but I love the detail they've been able to get into the coaches. Looking forward to getting it.
  12. Wow, half of them already out of stock. I wonder if they will be back this year, or will we have to wait until after the winter shut down? Will they do a shut down this year?
  13. Just spent about two hours going through placing several orders (to maximize GWPs) and noticed at the end when browsing by new that loads of parts had been added. But no pictures and mostly out of stock, I got a few interesting torsos, but will have to wait until next time now. Very excited to order a load of stuff to complete Rebrickable MOCs and some old sets.
  14. Noticed the same thing. More excitingly, suggests that it could make it to Pick a Brick next year - albeit likely in late summer.
  15. I use Rebrickable for building my lists for MOCs because the images are good and the UI is generally very clear and easy. Some of the tools are extremely helpful too.
  16. I think that kind of scale would be great for either of them. Or, why not both, and have a $200-$250 combined 'outlaws' set? Forestmen hideout and Wolfpack outpost or something?
  17. Looks really good like that. Great progress.
  18. Please post this to LEGO leaks and make it a self-fulfilling prophecy.
  19. Yes, but being in a CMF makes them pricey on BrickLink. TAKE MY MONEY!!
  20. It would be great to get a flock of flamingos without being attached to a CMF.
  21. Personally, I'd love a Forestmen set, with many happy memories of them. It's not only that the play features are generally such fun in them, but there's lots of scope for funky builds with lots of trees and landscaping in them. Although they could likely do similar stuff with a Wolfpack set. Either would be preferable to a Black Falcons castle though. That can come in 2025!
  22. They might do a printed skeleton on it, like the T.Rex set...
