That's what you think. Zepher's cruel, but I don't think he's that cruel. He's more cruel as in forcing Hoke to go on the quest.

Heroica RPG - Quest #42: The Meaning Of It All
Palathadric replied to Flare's topic in The Heroica Archive
! "You see, Erdy, I told you it was not a good idea to approach her/him. It's always good to listen to your elders, they have more experience in such matters, you know. Damn this devil! 'Taily' creatures can only be bad news. "Erdy, why don't you use your quick bow this round. First use your scroll to weaken him and then shoot him, or, if 'God' doesn't like that, you should maybe hand your scroll to me, since my strikes are not as powerful as yours. I really think weakening him would be a good idea though. Do you think I should seal him? If not, I'll strike him from the back row." Proposed Battle Order and Actions: Erdy weakens Merman Pretzel seals Merman or (go to end) If allowed, Erdy attacks Merman with Quick Bow (Back Row) Adam attacks Merman (Front Row) Pretzel heals Adam if he's at 10 health, otherwise, he attacks from the front row if Merman is weakened or from the back row if he's not. "I would have you know though that if we had just minded our own business and ignored him, we could be happy on our way." "Alternatively, I could "envenomate" Adam's blade.- 892 replies

Little does Sarge know that his "quest mates"-to-be are not headed for Shelbric at all!

By the way, great to have Hoke back in the hall! Hope to see him on the final Wren quest too.

It's always great to have one hero on the quest who has bonus points with the QM. Oh, come on, your quest doesn't suck that much. Picasso =

I have to say that I am really impressed by Shaktar! I didn't really expect them to qualify from this group, when I first saw it, and certainly not to qualify with a game in hand. Great stuff! Valencia were impressive against Munchen. None of the magics were particularly epic tonight though, in my opinion. I look forward to some of tomorrow's matches though.

I tell you, go LDraw. Of course, I do not recommend placing your bricks wrong, but at least LDraw if very forgiving if you do. I have to say that it would have been great to see Erik reunited with his party from Quest #32. Really looking forward to reading this quest Rumble Strike!

It really depends on what you like. There have been a lot of great, entertaining quests ranging from the epic Dastan "trilogy" to the pleasant simplicity, but still fabulous quests by Rumble Strike, and of course there are Sandy's "earthshaking" ones if you will. This is not to mention many of the others. I don't have time to relate. If you're talking role-play though, Quest 28 was absolutely fabulous, or the three rogue one...ah, there's too many great quests really! There's no point in attempting to say which ones are the most entertaining, because they all are to a certain level, so it really depends on what you like. As far as Quest 49 is concerned, Haldor can just sit back and do nothing, he doesn't need to keep attempting to attack until he's KOed and he has sucked the lifeblood out of all his teammates...twice.

"Fine," I respond huffily, "but she turns on you, I am not going to come to your rescue." I watch the proceedings from my hidden vantage point behind my cart. Getting hungry, I nibble on a pretzel.- 892 replies

"Evil spirits! Run, Erdy! Run while you still can! You too Adam. Danger! Danger! Danger!" I dart back up the hill, but slip and fall landing in the earth. "What a lousy guide we have!" I grunt while trying to pick myself up again.- 892 replies

Ragnarök Now - Conclusion
Palathadric replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well Pandora had be pretty convinced that Draggy couldn't be "stupid" enough to actually be town and not see that that was happening, so I guess the argument was never really that well thought-out. -

"Alright then..." I reply somewhat hesitantly. "Adam, be a lad and help an old man pull his luggage. Be careful not to spill or damage anything in any way. There are valuable scrolls in there that have taken years to translate and copy. Actually, maybe it's best if I just pull it after all. As the saying goes, 'never trust a barbarian with a fragile object.'...um...right." "So, Erdy, methinks we have a long day's journey ahead of us. What tales have you to tell us? How long have you been at Heroica? I would ask Adam, but he seems a little...frozen in the head, if you will."- 892 replies

"You know, I've been thinking, it may be a lot easier to just take the road to Shelbric and then pass by the "Power Tree" place on our way back. I don't know what the terrain is like ahead, but it may be difficult to wheel my cart if we start going off-road. I think let's just go straight on to Shelbric since we will, likely enough encounter those "Ostrich Raiders" anyway. Besides, it would make things easier..." For QM.- 892 replies

Ragnarök Now - Conclusion
Palathadric replied to MagPiesRUs's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
My mind went back and forth so many times on Day 6, I just couldn't see Pandora being scum, but frankly the 2-scum team thing did not seem to work for me. I would have loved to see something like that, but I just didn't think it could be true, especially considering that it would require so many of the scum on one team to still be alive, etc. Don't get me wrong, I loved the theory, but somehow to me, it just didn't seem likely. CMP did seem like a better lynch, but I was hesitant about losing our tracker. The fact that there was only one night kill on the previous night made me believe that WBD could've been the remaining scum, but I was convinced that if there was one there had to have been two, so I thought Draggy was possibly the second. I did mention that WBD would make a better lynch than CMP, but it was too weak to really amount to anything. For a while I thought that, with the town block that we had, we could've just gone with no lynch for the day, but I knew I would be shouted at. After that, I tried to throw some random "accusations" at Draggy with the hopes that if he were scum he would send one of his cronies to kill me, so that at least the number of scum to townies would not be as great as it otherwise would've been, hopefully. Well, as it turned out, he did send CMP on me, and I did kill him, but it didn't quite work out as I had expected since neither Pandora nor CMP turned up scum. For some reason on the last day I felt that Capt.Redblade was the only one whose towniness I was certain of. With us lynching WBD, I decided to track scuba, thinking that if he were scum he may have been doing no action when CMP tracked him because he had a leak, but now that CMP was dead, he wouldn't be cautious. However, I was mainly doing it to clear him. This really was an awesome game, though, TPRU! I really tried to analyze in this game and I think I was on the right track quite often, and made a lot of improvement since Excalibur or Jedi Mafia, but I still felt somewhat useless sometimes. I really admired the town block though and their rather effective method of clearing people even without an investigator. -

I would have asked ChromeKnight to give you an invention with which you could target me. WBD you really were magnificent as the vig. Obviously the scum thought you were the most valuable person to convert. ...and for good reason since you killed off half their members. -

I loan the artifact I dug up to Adam for the duration of the quest, unless Erdathcath wants it. "My two slots are already taken up, but I noticed that you don't have any equipment apart from your sword, so you may as well have this ol' thing. ...Aren't I nice?" "Once your father pays us, you are free to give it to him...or that slimy blue glob!"- 892 replies

Wow those, are neat. Where do you insert the focal blur or is there already a place for it automatically in the POV-Ray file generated by LDView. Sorry, I can't check. My computer just crashed again, and I think this time I just need to stop doing hard drive repairs myself and just buy a new hardrive to put in. I haven't gotten radiosity to work, I think I heard somewhere that you need megapov installed as well to use it...but I'm not sure if that's true or not. Also, can I use a normal .jpg image as a backround, or how does making a background work? Thanks, TW!

"We have just passed the Demon Frog Valley, my dear elf! Surely you must remember the tiresome fight of yesterday evening. The question is, where do we go from here. If we want, we could take the road as far east as it leads us, and then cross over to the other road and head down to the "Place Where the Power Trees Grow," thereby, hopefully, bypassing the ostrich raiders, but somehow I think we should just take the normal road to Shelbric. God doesn't seem to want us to go the other way or he would have made a path amid the trees for us to walk through."- 892 replies

I must have somehow overlooked reading your character's history. I didn't realize that you were a relation of mine...and such an evil one at that. If I had, I would have devised a way for you to target me at night, so I could kill you. -

Would Alexis actually be knocked out? She was fighting from the back row, so shouldn't she receive only half the damage from the blood ritual?

Yep! "Sweet sleep! I suggest we eat our meal and start out fresh. So what will it be all? Pretzels and salt? Just plain ol' pretzels...?" I munch contentedly on one. So will we head straight to Shelbric in light of the latest information from Adam, or do we want to take a different route? Say...all the way around? I'm not afraid of a band of raiders on creepy birds, but if everyone would feel better going another way, that's fine by me. Erdy, it seems like 'Eunice' is a bit slack on the job. He had all night and he still hasn't gotten us a fellow hero. Ah, well!"- 892 replies
