  1. No problem with SP per se, but it just seems like an unnecessary line in an enemies' description and just an additional way to drag out battles. I have nothing against it (please don't mistake my: ), but more just wondering...why bother? I guess it adds a bit of challenge somehow.
  2. There's only two available, but if you give me 5000 gold for it, I'm sure I could work it out. Alternatively, you could just give the enemies the 40 extra health. Of course, I know, it's not the same, but still... If I may ask, since I must have forgotten, what did you create the grating stone for?
  3. It's not like there's such an incredible number of enemies with SP apart from in Endgame's quests.
  4. "Yep! Just tell us what to do and, if it's within reason, we'll do it. By the way, you haven't answered my question yet. If we come back, several days from now, will we see you here? There are quite a number of items that I would need to buy, but I didn't quite have the coin on me yet. Also, I wanted to buy that shield. Perhaps, I'll be able to purchase it off one of you at the end of the quest. One more question, Albert. Do those Grating Stones work for shields as well?
  5. Nice tree. Complements of the season to you!
  6. Boomingham really has screwed his party over though with that antic.
  7. "I accept the fifty gold per bar, but the 25 for the cross, it's a cross! ...is entirely unacceptable. Can your junky broom sticks fly around like this cross does? Huh? But I'll tell you what. I'll give you twenty gold and my cross for your old broomstick. You're really getting a bargain there, my friend."
  8. I'd love to see Nerwen do that! For one thing, the incredible shortness of most battles. It wasn't at all unusual for battles to last just one round. It's been a few months' project, so some of the newer one e.g. 15-25 are not exactly too fresh in my memory. I'll get back to you though...hopefully soon.
  9. "Is this your 'shop' so to speak? As in, if we go and come back, will we be able to find you here again? My gold is a bit limited now, but if I go, collect more someplace, and come back can we expect to meet you here? The mythril shard, for instance, we would probably buy, but we don't have anywhere near the required sum of money. Erdy, perhaps, if you tell them why we will need it, they may give it to us...free?" I whisper to Adam, "Adam, do you know this man?" I turn to Erdy, "We may need to be careful what we say, I think this is the same "Almite Bob" whom the doctor and Adam talked about. I don't actually know how much we will want to reveal to him." "Furthermore, I suggest you purchase a couple of smelling salts, Erdy. They could be quite useful if it comes down to a fight, and they are selling them cheap here." "How much would you buy this Flying Cross for? It's truly magnificent, like no other and you can fly around and around with it to your hearts content. I've been asking for 100 gold for it, but the price is negotiable within reason. Also I have this rotten hand and my friend here has a Piece of Dirt that has the Potential to Save the Universe. Now let's see if you can offer a good price for that! Also, can I exchange gold bars for gold here?"
  10. I suppose looking at your wares couldn't hurt us, so I'm up for it. Even if we don't purchase anything immediately, we now no where to find you just in case, but I do think I could stock up on a few items. Perhaps buy a gem to stud my cross. I meant the exclamation points in your voice. They were interrupted by an odd '1'. Just saying.
  11. Funny, I had the impression that we were going to the power trees first.
  12. "Why is your place called an 'Asylum' and why is there a '1' in the midst of all the exclamation points?" I wonder aloud. "Furthermore, why do you wear your hair in such an unmanly manner. I would swear (if I did that sort of thing ) that if I saw you from the back I would assume that you were a woman. What's up with that? Also is it supposed to be a good thing that you have been dubbed "the Greedy." I don't see there being any way that it could be considered a complement?"
  13. "rupi" hasn't logged on in over a year, so I don't think we'll be getting updates. A real shame because it was a lot of fun reading this! I have to say thanks for bumping the topic.
  14. Today I just finished my project of reading through all the old quests. Very interesting, I must say. Now to work on the Hall topic.
  15. "Somehow that skeleton in the corner reminds me of Adam," I whisper. "These people look to be selling gems, and consumables and the like. Methinks it would be a good idea to at least check what they have available. Granted, they look a bit insane, but...everyone deserves a chance...unless they're...you know..."
  16. "Let's walk into it."
  17. You've forgotten the rotten hand!
  18. I sniff at the two bones suspiciously trying to detect some scent of chicken.
  19. "Well, this one is most definitely a chicken bone," I say excitedly pocketing it. "I think the healing powers of God can deliver you from your exhaustion my good fellow. Let us journey on. The relish of slaying devils is in my bones now and I feel the need to press on while my spirit is still high."
  20. Is it wrong that I don't at all understand what you're talking about. An enemy with 250 SP doesn't make any difference to an assassin, it all depends on the assassin's luck in their rolls...or am I missing something. Is there some math behind it or why do you fixate on 8 assassins? And how, in any way, would a fight like that be fair?
  21. Seriously mate, I'd recommend SR 3D Builder. LDraw can seem pretty tough when you look at the part library and all the programmes related to it, but if you just want to work on models regularly like you'd do in LDD then there's little or nothing LDD can do that SR 3D Builder can't. But if LDD is your preferred choice, then by all means stick with that. The great thing about SR 3D Builder is that it's also just as straight forward to install as LDD.
  22. "I will not touch those bones unless you can assure me that they're that of a chicken and not that of a human corpse!" "I suggest we move on. We didn't expend any unnecessary strength on this fight. I'll just patch up Adam and Mr...what was your name again?" I heal Sarge and Adam. Pardon me...what?!? For one, we didn't get XP from the Merman fight, and for two 16.5 to 18 is equal to only 3 fights not 5. You should be at 18.5 and I should be 13. Just look at the level we were at in the last post of the fight.
  23. Thank you for auto-rolling. But I know you've been cheating and giving Pretzel the worst rolls.
  24. We need to level up, Flare. I'm 100% certain that you've been stealing XP from us. What do I get for arguing so effectively with the Merman? Moar XP? Ack! You ninja'ed me, skyrimguy! "I tell you, this steak is jinxed, and it was only effective after I blessed it with the prayers of the holy St. Steffin. It's obvious. I hit him several times, before that but it did nothing. Thank God He revealed to me what would make it effective. By the by, I wouldn't touch those bones of I were you. Leave them right where they are and certainly don't bring them close to me. Parts of the dead are useless to all but magicians, witches, sorcerers, and the like and carrying them will only attract the unwanted attention of the like."If Erdy, tries to give Pretzel a portion of the loot, he will refuse it vehemently.I dig with my regular shovel in the earth.
  25. I have the feeling because he has 16 SP that my 13 powered hit didn't get through it. At least that's what I think is going on in Flare's mind...maybe I shouldn't give him ideas.
