  1. @Erik Leppen I agree, the last set of buggy (42124) that I bought in the end was just disassembled for parts. It was very boring to play it even with two L-motors per drive. Somehow else I didn't even want to modify it. I don't know what to do with buggy tires at all, as they are terrible. And now Lego will also put them in the Fort Raptor set.
  2. I apologize if I hurt someone's feelings or was wrong. I don't exclude that this is indeed the case. Perhaps I spoke out sharply. But I didn't mean the marketing of all Lego sets, but only some of the images and hints that Lego uses in the promotion of initially children's toys. This is what confuses me. I don't want to see asexual (androgynous) people or hints of people somehow different sexually oriented in the promo pictures of Lego. Or something else related to this. Lego's position here should be neutral, I don't care about their personal position on this issue. That's all. I don't want to return to this sore subject any more, I'm already very sorry that I started writing about it at all. P.S. My 12 year old daughter loves Lego Technic very much and together we look forward to new sets every time. But she has a regular hairstyle and a traditional look. Therefore I really liked the promo images, for example, Mercedes Zetros, where an ordinary girl plays with a car. This kind of marketing is very acceptable, although they could make a couple of children - a boy and a girl in the images, so as not to cause unnecessary discussions. For some reason, in Russia, when they see a girl playing with a toy car, many people start asking a stupid question - who is this in the picture at all a boy or a girl? I think this is not correct of course. I think some of us are still too orthodox. But I don't want it to be imposed on anyone. You see, I'm writing sincerely.
  3. This is a personal matter. I don't want the company that sells toys to involve my children in this ahead of time. In addition, I myself want to be engaged in raising my child and I don't care what any company thinks about this at all. Let them keep it to themselves. Here's what I said. I'm not discriminating against anyone here, but am I already being attacked? At the end, the point was that marketing of some set is (soft lgbt) brainwashing. And they began to use it too often, instead of making the sets themselves more interesting. As already noted, Lego is engaged in hypocrisy in order to please "everyone". Don't just say now that EIA set are not for children. It's like Lego sets 18+. Children see all this and I don't think it's right. It's good that EIA won't be on sale in Russia, because I don't know what to tell my child who will meet this set in a toy store. Damn, I don't want to talk about this anymore. By the way, I like the body color of the Ford Raptor set.
  4. Yes, there were already 8 connectors # 5, but where to get all the rest? It looks like they added what was left of the McLaren inventory to the steering column.
  5. Moving back to the Ford, I see the blue connector #5 on the steering column as well as the blue rear shock mounts. Why not make the blue seats in this set too (from blue connectors, eg)? They would fit well with the orange body color. The seats look rustic and somewhere I've seen it all before. Why is Lego so generous with blue connectors again?
  6. In my opinion, we are slipping into politics, but using such methods Lego simply attracts more attention, causing unnecessary controversy and discussion. But these disputes are not in essence, but simply information noise. Аnd for me personally, the image of such companies is falling. I have a strong desire not to buy a new set if it was somehow emotionally badly accepted by me during its promotion. These are not social trends, but some kind of completely stupid marketing. Lego is clearly in some kind of crisis of new ideas and solutions now, but they are spending all their energy on marketing. Unfortunately, I watched the recent Lego CON live - it was the worst example of goofy promotion. Once again I apologize for the offtopic, but it seems Lego is releasing too boring a set to discuss it, and not how they do it.
  7. There should be a radiator grill (between the bumper and the hood), but they seem to have "forgotten" about it and pasted a sticker. As a result, to reduce the number of parts in the set.
  8. @rm8 Yes, but I think you have a print, not a sticker I completely agree with you! And I'm very glad that such opinions are expressed here. I'am also very much annoyed by this fact that Lego became involved in politics and not making a good product. Until now, I can't get away from the story with Bell Osprey, about the fact that military equipment is bad. Now they tell us that sexual diversity is good. They have given too much attention to this lately. And this is a company that just should be engaged in the production of toys for our children not brainwashing. I'm very sorry for the offtopic, but it hurt me.
  9. It's good that you have the opportunity to buy this so cheap. I recently ordered these new liftarms on bricklink. In my region the price was about $3 USD per piece, excluding shipping. The problem is that the part 71710 is still rare. In many stores on bricklink it's simply not available. And if you need it, you have to make a separate order. Even if shipping is cheap, 10 bucks is 10 bucks! For two parts only.
  10. @Rebel_Lego I'm just quoting what the author himself wrote for whom this model is. The chassis practically repeats the set 42124. If you already have it, then adapting it to your own model is not a problem (imho). But I could be wrong of course, sorry.
  11. I'm afraid that those who don't have a new buggy set will not have also some of the necessary parts for building a chassis. For example, new liftarms with perpendicular holes. Since so far 42124 is the only set where they meet. Perhaps it would be logical not to use such rare details, because buying them separately is still expensive.
  12. There are too few stickers and other decorations for an Indian truck
  13. @I_Igor Thank you! For some reason there is not enough information here. No width or inner diameter. How do I understand the outer diameter is 80mm?
  14. @apachaihapachai Where can you buy these tires?
  15. Oh, really?? It's just a new color, matte black!
  16. This MOC is incredibly cool and in my favorite scale! I like it a lot more than the recent 10295 set. I would also love to see the motorization of this MOC in the future, if possible.
  17. Yes, BrickController2 is a truly awesome solution for controlling different electrics from one application! I really hope BuWizz will open up protocols for 3.0 soon so that these apps can continue to support universal electrical control solutions. I really hope that BuWizz will not go down the TLG path in terms of limiting software support for their solutions.
  18. Very beautiful model and interesting color! The MOC somewhat reminded me of the Attika's 8880 EVO Tribute. But the style is certainly old school Lego Technic. Cool! It was nice to see some kind of video of the MOC in motion.
  19. Today's work result. New reinforced motor drive. Managed to keep the front L-motors removable. But because of their displacement I had to swap to shorter suspension arms 6 x 2.
  20. @Aleh Thank you! Of course I saw all your Mercedes (even 6x6), as well as all the others that were built from Lego.
