Is there ever a chance that TLG will remake Ninjago City? Probably one of the most popular non-licensed sets ever and I just wasn’t into Lego at the time it was sold.

@Juturna Actually I don’t have to wait at all. I just call at 11am and they give me a pickup time after 3pm. :)

Slightly off topic, but which program do people use for their virtual Lego MOC’s? I’m assuming they use Blender for the final rendering. Gonna try to MOC the other stores in my free time.

Anyone have a good guess you when we can see the Blacksmith set? I’m assuming if Sesame Street is November, either Blacksmith or Winnie the Pooh would be February?

Took another screenshot from the video on the Lego site. Looks so good like this! It shouldn’t be too hard to display it this way would it? Just have the sets on their side so looking forward is in the direction of this camera.

I may regret buying the 8x16 plates now lol would maybe be better to put two buildings on each side and add 4x8 or 4x16 or whatever it comes in. That view is also going to look so so good when Gringotts is in the back!

I’m really hoping that with the instructions for this set that someone better at MOC’ing does some of the other popular stores. I doubt we will get more than Gringotts and B&B officially. My local Lego store has 14 in stock now and getting 18 more tomorrow, so I should be good! Since it’s curbside pickup I don’t have to wait in line either, it’s just first come first serve on the phone. A little nerve wracking but shouldn’t be a problem with that many sets.

Can we all take a minute to appreciate how amazing the alternate face for Lockhart is?

If this helps anyone, the Lego store at Disneyland only has 4 for tomorrow, so it’ll probably be a pain in the megablocks tomorrow if you’re expecting to just show up and grab one

The only problem with Ninjago city is that it’s Ninjago I agree it doesn’t look ideal, but the roofs connected actually look pretty dope!

Yea I will say the Ninjago set feels more “alive” but they also aren’t working with the restrictions that comes with accurate Harry Potter sets. This set is pretty damn amazing, and it bums me out a bit that there’s so much criticism :( I hope the average consumer loves it!

Obviously they’re referencing the current wave (2018-present). Kids today weren’t even born the last time Lockhart or maybe even Lucius were available.

I’m surprised of how lenient they are for who gets review copies. No offense to these guys but it’s not like these guys have a million followers. Maybe the Lego community is just smaller than I thought lol

Also, you all are being cynical about the AR experience - I think it’s super cute! Times like this I wish I were older and a father so I could share the magic with my kids :)

The set is absolutely beautiful! And I cannot wait to get it day 1 (fingers crossed). The only thing that concerns me is that we’re not going to get a nice Gringotts. I would be fine with one like Attack on the Burrow, but if it has to include a dragon and rails and all of that, it may just be a build of the front side of the building, which would be a huge shame. And now we have to wait an entire year before these worries can be laid to rest!

Is that Borgin and Burkes behind Marcos in the VIP interview? Which building is that? Doesn’t look like one from DA
