  1. I just hope the garden kinda overlaps and is contained behind the two pillars. Would be cool to see it have its roots tangled up the back. Also does anyone know what Tea Time Balcony is? Edit: Looking at the scanned image, the two darker bricks under temple island make me think the 16x32 baseplate is going to be detachable from the rest of the set. I don’t really see the point in adding that to the side if that’s the case.
  2. One thing I do find somewhat odd about the set is that the 32x32 baseplate feels like the actual set, and then there's a random 16x32 baseplate that randomly has a "garden". I'm hoping with more pictures we can see how the set is connected all around, because from this image alone it seems like a tacked on section to an otherwise complete set. Also, will this extra baseplate be detachable? Will be cool to see how we could potentially expand that area with the Spring Lantern Festival set
  3. Where is that quote from? Promobricks latest video/article mentions $299.99, so I’m confused how so many people could have conflicting answers
  4. How much do exclusive minifigures for big D2C sets usually go for? Honestly don’t have that much use for Golden Wu, as I’m not a typical Ninjago fan and honestly prefer just normal civilian minifigures to fill out the city. May be a way to help cover cost for the set lol
  5. I think this image makes it seem more similar to Ninjago City’s shape than it really will be. I think it may resemble more two towers with a garden on the side than a Ninjago City-shaped cube
  6. Ashnflash mention $350 US in his video, anyone know where he could have found that? I think the colors look way better here than in the initial, especially because they look less “neon” and more dark yellow, dark green, etc. It says Zen garden in that top purple area, really curious how that looks.
  7. Do you think this is going to make the first two City sets skyrocket in value? I can’t imagine that this won’t lure people into wanting the full series.
  8. Anyone able to use our better image to photoshop it on the right of Ninjago City/Docks? I’m most excited to see how it’s going to connect
  9. Wow I won’t lie a bit of my hype died down with the initial leak, but now I’m back to super excited! And it’s so close from release that I’m sure we’re going to get some official announcements soon :)
  10. I could care less about mini figs, as I’m purely a Ninjago fan for the City builds. I feel MUCH better now seeing this second picture. The blue lanterns are definitely interesting, but maybe it will make each section of the city feel a little more individualized, like different areas of a major city. Also, thank god this one is tall, it will help balance the height difference between City and Docks. Looking forward to building all 3! EDIT: Am I crazy or does the magazine say $399? I thought this was going to be $299
  11. Hopefully we get a better image ASAP, just because such a blurry leak is not going to do it any wonders. Really emphasizes the bold parts of the set (neon colors) without giving us any indication of the bottom half.
  12. True, I guess I was hoping for more of a Ninjago-City take on the temple than what we are seemingly getting.
  13. It honestly reminds me of a MOC that has no style. Is it in the theme? Yea. But it looks so...bland and boring. I’m glad I’ve kept my other sets unopened just in case. I need it to blow me away to really invest this money honestly Temple of Airjitzu looks so much better. I just wanted a Ninjago City garden in that style
  14. Edit: didn’t read your entire post oops. Yea where are the red lanterns? Those make the Ninjago City set great.
  15. I do think the colors the will look better with better images. With the blurriness it really makes the yellow and purple pop without much on the bottom section. I was hoping we would get more Cherry Blossom trees, though that should be an easy fix. Maybe I’ll edit this with the latest Chinese New Year garden. https://imgur.com/shjAVTW Maybe it was too wishful but I was hoping something more in this style.
  16. I’ll reserve judgement until we get a better quality picture, but my first impression is that the colors are too much for me. I would prefer something a little more subdued. And would prefer something that looks a little more like an ancient garden
  17. I found it, is it just that picture with Wu?
  18. Yea I see that, just curious where I can see it! :)
  19. What German catalog are we talking about?
  20. I don't even mind the release date, I just want to have a picture of it so I can imagine it lol
  21. I think the best comparison would be to look at the Fishing Dock idea submission and the final set. It’s very similar in style but just more detailed and lively.
  22. Agh are we really going to get 2 of my most anticipated sets of the year (Blacksmith and Ninjago Gardens) on the same day?
  23. It's pretty much confirmed the Blacksmith is coming before Pooh based on the leaked set numbers, yea? Shouldn't we expect it on January 1st given the two month rotation Ideas sets have been coming out in
  24. I found the easiest way to combat this is to get hyped about a bunch of different things! Last month it was my PS5. Yesterday was the game awards and I was hyped for Elden Ring and Zelda, though neither were shown. Now I'm excited for Gardens/Medieval Blacksmith/etc. It's made the wait much more bearable.
  25. I'm right there with you guys for the hype. I refresh this site every morning, always with a small piece of hope that someone leaked the set. We're at the point where it could be any day!
